Big day in Detroit as both the Red Wings and the Lions are vying to beat Tampa Bay...

I live in Winnipeg so I watch the Griffins every time they come to Wpg..TWO big come from behind victories! Woo-hoo! Now if only the Wings can beat The Jets in Wpg more often..
I was at the Sunday Wings game, the people were lit alllllll day. Amazing game to attend. Glad we went 100%
I like it when Griffins have great prospects on their roster...I get to see Kasper, Soderblom and Edvinnson play 4 times in Winnipeg...only once per year when they make the Wings.....
I have no issue with Copp, but he is no longer the match up Center. That is Larkin. For reference, last night Copp had 10 Ozone FOs and 1 Dzone FO. Larkin had 1 Ozone FO and 14 Dzone FOs. Not surprisingly, Copp's production has increased.

Derek Lalonde said Kane not playing today, not seen by Doctor due to late arrival back from the road trip. After the Detroit goal yes Carolina immediately figured out they couldn't give up odd man rushes and changed their system. Yes don't miss chances. Do what the other team does get pucks to the nets for tips and rebounds. Alex L was only beat by one clear shot. Let Klim have more opportunities to shoot. Maybe he has a hard shot, I didn't ask the Carolina goalie.
The game was interesting in how the other team adjusted to the Wings attack. I think Alex D is working on his D game. I like the way Detroit changed to a defensive game, the Wings will need to win these types of games. How many shots and points did Stevie Y have before he changed his game and the Wings won championship. Yes work on effective breakouts and make the good pass out of the defensive zone. Don't pass to the other team, making it easy for the other teams.

Ben Chariot you guys have had mixed reviews on him . " one of our best D out tonight", Derek Laronde, Jan 21st. Yes, bring Simon E up, play him, rotate Petry out as he is a step behind.

Bring back O.S, I loved him last year till the deadline. I was heartbroken when they traded him to St. Louis
I think Oskar Sundqvist was traded to Minnesota. Detroit aquired O.S. in the Leddy trade from St. Louis. He is currently playing for St. Louis now.
Would be kind of a useless trade, just keep the draft pick at that point
The only way I would want us to be buyers at TDL would be if we trade away some of our glut of prospects. We can't fit them all in, and I would like to see us get some value for them, Obviously not including high-end guys like Kasper, Cossa or Edvinson. Yeah, Stevie might be a wizard, but that isn't happening. So please, don't buy. I don't want us giving up picks.
They have a few defenseman that may attract luke warm interest.. Tuomisto, Wallinder, or Johansson.
Too early to tell on Shai Buium and Andrew Gibson.
Biggest "prospect" asset is Berggren as he has shown he can score at the NHL level.
I would be fine dealing Kasper for a good piece with term, obviously someone on the younger side
@@wyattbarnes9641 I only see Kasper as a 3C, if he makes 2C that is an exceptional development. We can get a 3C through UFA or trade that may just be as good. I thought Kasper was a reach to begin with.
@@ericscottstevens Agreed, not overly high on him. For me the only untouchable prospects are Edvinsson, Sandin Pellika and Danielson.

i wonder if yzerman is running out of patience with edvinsson, maybe its not his guy and looking at trading him.
While the team is not great yet, they’re able to beat anybody. They’re weaponized parity, winning by committee.
Looking for a "better shot" is this teams biggest fault. They lose possession and struggle for o-zone time far too aften because of it. This past game against Carolina was a great example of that.
They did beat Boston twice without having a hot goalie💁♂️ so that’s gotta count for something. LGRW
Andrew Copp is a bum and should be bought out this off season full stop! Paying 5.5 AAV for 3 more years for a guy who isn't stopping goals and isn't scoring them either will help keep this team in purgatory. This guy should have never been signed and I was one of the 1st people to try and tell you all this.
