- Hi friends. As we venture further into uncharted territory, I thought it was important that I address the pandemic at hand, and how I intend to move forward with videos. I hope you all stay well, healthy, and safe. Much love.
I've also recently picked up and have been wearing my new Seiko SRPD51 and absolutely loving it, and thought we could all take a first look at it together!

As one of your newer viewers and definitely housebound, I was missing your handbag vids and quite honestly, the pleasant conversation about anything but the virus. For those of us not on the frontlines, it has become a mundane existence, but we are so blessed to be in good health with no financial needs. I did want to let you know that I got my red 9966, not a bright red, more of a scarlet and I rehabbed her according to your instructions and she is spectacular. I took photos of the whole process and the after photos make her look brand new. I also took advantage of the Coach sale and bought myself an early birthday present (because why not?), a saddle tan Courier bag. It is stunning and I can see it as a unisex bag, like a small messenger. Please keep making your vids as we all need to escape, if even only for a few minutes,. Stay safe😉
Cindy Arrington Hi!!! For some reason this video isn’t sending me notifications (my latest two have), so I totally missed this. I’m so glad your 9966 came out well!!! It must be a beauty. And glad you got a new Coach too! I’m seriously eyeing some of their new bags, may just have to snag one! 😜 And I know - I need to do more bag videos but I don’t know what else to do with mine LOL. Hello Josh! So nice to have you back on YT. So funny, I was thinking about you just a couple hours ago! I was trying to decide how to clean/polish the crocodile strap I have on my Glashutte Original. I was thinking how great you would be at doing a video on how to care for all kinds of different watch straps! Different types/finishes of leather and suede, reptile and even nylon or possibly rubber! I know if anyone could clean and beautify and protect, it would be you! I do appreciate your Seiko 5 during Covid 19! You take good care of yourself and John, and thank you for sharing today! Have to admit your new watch is beautiful!
Matthew Davis Ooh this is SUCH a great idea!! Somehow I never thought about it either. I’m definitely going to do this (was definitely scratching the bottom of the barrel on things I can do that don’t involve buying all the time!) Stay tuned!!!

Crazy! I hope it warms up some for you all (maybe that’ll kill some of the spread of this horrid virus). Thinking of you!!!
@@joshswatches thank you for the reply! We did get some pretty good snow a couple weeks ago, but the weather has been warming up. Unfortunately this time of year warmer days tend to be rainy. Like we need any more gloom these days! You, however, bring your own brand of sunshine with every video! Thank you for that. I am really excited you liked my idea, and even more excited you are actually going to do a video! Whether you have a $10 strap or $100+ one, taking care of them not only adds to their longevity, but also to their beauty. It enhances the whole watch wearing experience! Care and even restoration would be great to watch and learn. Looking forward to it! Thanks again for the video and response.
I just ordered this one with the blue nato strap. Definitely gonna get some other colored straps like yours to change things up a bit.
Very nice video and excellent review. I'm 10 months late for this one, lol, but I just ordered this watch, also with a NATO strap. Something about it just attracted me to it as a nice everyday kind of watch, which I agree looks more expensive than it is! Just subscribed and I hope you are doing OK. 👍 BTW, that strap looks good., probably better than the all blue coming with mine. I might get one of those!!
I hope you figured out since this went live that youtube was cracking down HARD on any mention of the Rona. I also heard youtube stopped that censorship. Or they have since drastically reduced the extent of the crackdown. I can't say more, I am not a content producer. But I would definitely recommend avoiding the words "covid" or "coronavirus" or even generic "virus". Sorry I can't be more helpful. Keep making videos and take care.
