- Hi everyone! I'm Holly! In this video, I'm making a new soap using a 'masculine' fragrance oil blend and colors. I'm not quite sure what to name it so I'm open to suggestions!
We're getting ready for our first release of 2021! Right now we're looking at the middle to end of February. Unfortunately, some issues at home have caused us some delays. Be sure to follow us on Facebook and/or Instagram to stay up to date on release info!

(This is not the recipe used in the video but is one that I love. Our regular line of soaps do not contain palm oil.)
30% Lye Concentration
6% Super Fat
40% Olive Oil
20% Coconut Oil
10% Palm Oil (I look for Palm that is certified by Palm Done Right)
10% Rice Bran Oil
10% Castor Oil
10% Cocoa Butter
1tsp ppo* Sodium Lactate
*Per Pound of Oil
I soap at room temperature - which means the oils and the lye solution are in the 65-75 degree range.

Calling it "Quarry" would be interesting since you mentioned how it had stone-like properties.

My name suggestion would be Blue Granite. Its so nice to see you uploading more videos, lately. I've enjoyed them all, especially your vlogs. They were fun! I'm sorry I don't comment often ( I am shy at times). Your videos always give me a few moments to relax in these crazy times and I thank you for that. I hope your furbaby is doing better. Praying for him and you.
To ensure I get all the colours out of my mixing cups, I use those mini silicone spatulas and sometimes add some batter to it just to make sure I get every drop out lol.
I think this soap can be named Missouri Man. Loved the outcome!

Country Waters
This is such a gorgeous soap and figured since there are two fragrances, why not combine their names into a new one for the soap???

So I'll probably post from his site more than mine! Just call it "Quary", I really like the way it sounds and people would remember the name. Especially if you might sell it as a staple in your line. I know I try to name soaps with easy names for people to remember. I occasionally get emails asking what someone has purchased before. If the name doesn't stick or has to many names in it people forget. "Quary " is simple and has a masculine ring, win, win!
Town and Country
City Slicker, Modern Man, 9 to 5, Weekend Warrior, Manly Man or Sophisticated.....that's all I've got for now!! Love it Holly, turned out great!! 💞

Chambray. It reminds me of a soft, blue men's chambray shirt. Very pretty soap, wasn't sure about the color combination but it came out great, I think the lighter blue looks better than a dark blue would have. Funny, I just made my first men's soap in years last night, using a Cool Water type also, but mine is sea themed.
I was thinking mountain suede based on the brown color but then you mentioned denim. Then I thought what about denim and suede to match your leather and lace soap?
I vote to name the soap Slate City!!

You can call it "Boy's Chevron", "Blue Stallion", "City Coast", "Manly Matters", "Boy Accents", "Gentleboy"... Those are the names that came to my mind when I saw that beautiful soap.

Ive used that cool water FO. I love it. Can be used as a good neutral fragrance. Neither feminine or masculine. Everyone loves it.

I like your idea of City Boy as someone else has mentioned. If your wanting to market as a unisex bar Urban could work.
