Keep going with this series please! Smallest 4080 and 90 next! Love your work.
OptimumTech has already done it
Like the 4080 and 4090 founders which are also the smallest ones are also bigger than that case... so the build would required a much larger one... like most 4090s are almost as big as a 360mm aio, so building small with air with them makes no sense unless you go liquid cooling which reduces the size of the GPUs by a lot but now you have to fit radiators for them, also the CPU yo need to not bottle neck them requires beefier coolers too so again going to small is not that good as the tiny fans will need to be ramped up to keep the temps somewhat tamed...
@@z4k1_zaki65 that build is massive compare to this two, even if it is the smallest. I wish they release a 4080 that uses the cooler of the 4070 founders edition, like that gpu and the 4070ti doesn't need such a massive cooler and everyone is over building their coolers... like where are the 4080 with only two fans... like just some voltage tweeks and it should be fine...
Prob formd t1 sounds the best bet for either 4080 FE or 4090FE
I probably have the smallest and classiest 4090 build 😅
I just love how an sff build is as beautiful as it is practical, I love that complex and at the same time minimalistic design of itx cases, while being able to fit such powerful hardware
This is an awesome build. I'm actually going to be building my first Mini ITX PC soon. I am going to be using the FormD T1 and I'm going to be getting the same motherboard and RAM you are using in this video. This really helps me get an idea of what I'll be working with. I'm amazing at how such a little box can have so much performance.
Velkase has been my go to for SFF portable builds for a while. They're super dense and I love the practical improvements here. Including the SFX-L again is an excellent addition along with the ability to use Cables straight from the GPU. I did find that in some cases the older display adapters caused some momentary loss of signal on high refresh rate displays meaning I had to source higher end adapters but this has now been solved! Amazing work.
You just don’t miss when it comes to these SFF builds. Respect.
I love your amazing tiny form factor builds. I'm going to build my own computer hopefully around the Holidays as I only have a few components left. This inspires me to start doing tiny form factor builds after the fact!
Really enjoying these small form factor builds! Helps a lot with ideas for my next PC
It would be really helpful if you'd tell us, the total cost of this build. With Windows Key etc included.
You can also add it in the video description
such a beautiful build its inspiring and thanks for choosing nice sponsors
Considering how compact that cooler is, those are brilliant temps in such a tiny brilliantly minimalist case!
I have a relatively small room of 2.5m x 2.5m, so having an ITX pc is a lifesaver for my space and breathability in my room. My existing PC is in Lian Li Q-58 paired with both 1080ti and 10400F, might wanna use your video as a reference for my next upgrade! Cheers!
This is so great and next level, is really great that you talk about options for CPU and graphics, thanks for sharing!
Currently have a 4070 build with identical components and this video is tempting me to ditch my current Micro-ATX AP201 case and mobo for this lmao.
I'd honestly consider if I didn't already have a backup laptop for travel purposes, but you've definitely gained my sub as I want to eventually build a mini computer like this one day and the video is brilliantly made.
Im looking to buy a itx pc and ive been watching your videos since yesterday. Great quality videos nice work
I was just looking for a video about the Velka 5 from you right now and ended up on other chanels, this is the moment I was closing everything xD
So now let's look at this incredible case
This is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you.
Also something important to note is that you could always undervolt both the CPU and GPU without sacrificing any meaningful performance. The temps could run even cooler in a case this small which is awesome.
Nice build. I love the Velka series, just wish I had a use case for one because I would love to do a build.
$179 case goddam
$1800+ with just the PC and no monitor, at which point you’re almost better off just getting a Legion Pro 7 with AMD 7945HX and RTX 4800.
Your channel has potential, keep up the good work!
The ps5 and Xbox series X are around 7 liters so this is pretty amazing.
Kind of curious as to what you could fit in a 7 liter pc though, maybe with that single slot water cooled rtx 4090.
I love these builds and i built the lunch box one with an arch 750 but they are a pain in the ass to build 😅 definitely for veteran pc builders 👍
Great video. Impressive setup and seems easy to follow along for those wanting to mimic. Nice job!
How did u get verified??
I have a similar build. Velka 5 v2.1, Asus ROG Strix B660-I, 12400F, Noctua NH-L9, 4070 FE, Corsair Vengeance 32GB DDR5 5600, 2TB NVMe on the front, 4TB NVMe on the back. I also have not had any temp issues with the flowthrough design of the FE cooler, the only thing I don't like about the FE is the stupid 12VHPWR connector, the adapter was a pain to squeeze into the case.
As someone who has been dragging around a mid tower V2 Black thermal tech case tower. Next time I have to do a motherboard upgrade I’m doing a mini build. It’s worth the hassle. Transportation is a pain and I’m lucky to have a good suitcase the mid tower case fits perfectly in with jostle support and a tight fit with crumple
Clean. The power supplies are hard to get a hold of. I just finished a Densium build with a 4070. Definitely get the noctua fan for the flex also. Wish these had the high bandwidth adaptors for the GPU. IMO fixes the cord attachment issues with GPUs these days
Amazing video!!
I can't wait to see the world's smallest 4080...just like smallest 4060 and 4070!
Amazing production value btw!
An ITX build that wouldn't look out of place in a bookshelf. Well done!
That transition 1 minute in was the smoothest thing I've ever seen
Ok, so I’m not a particularly “rig-savvy” fella, but this made it seem so accessible. I had considered a gaming PC out of my reach due to the constraints of my small apartment and travel requirements.
I’ve already purchased a Vella Case and a 4070 founders edition.
Thank you for providing the accessibility and instructions to build a SFF rig.
Just remember to keep your rig clean air flow is very important here do not use air dust routinly clean it every year and new thermal paster every 2-4 years or as temps rise it may be worth replacing
Dude you inspire me holy crap. Your aesthetic is the coolest aesthetic I have seen on youtube.
Thanks for this,. I am thinking of building one myself but worried that the noise will be a problem. I don't see that important part shown in this video, how loud was this little heat generator?
Would love to see you build in a G200 case with a 4070 and a massive CPU heatsink. The case is great and takes a regular ATX.
Thanks so much Bro!
I honestly wish case builders would consider a slim top and bottom fans for people in more temperate climates. I had a case with a sandwich layout and without the top/bottom slim fans runs crazy hot at 30 deg c ambient.
New sub here!
Love these sff builds
Can you add a side by side size comparison to items like shoeboxes or controllers for scale?
Would be interested to see thermals with a kryosheet on there. It's done amazing things for my 7900 xtx that had symptoms of pump out.
Another winner :) Happy Holidays Devyn.
Love your work Devyn, and I got the B650E-I motherboard too. I would like to know what is the part number of the corsair ram kit you installed?
The reason I ask is I'm also after a low profile kit and am looking at the 64gb Corsair vengeance kit.
Here's the part number CMK64GX5M2B6000C30.
It's the CL30 6000mhz kit but I'm told it may not be compatible with this board so if you can help out in any way that'll be awesome!
Installing a 7950x3d for gaming/editing so looking at a ram kit with decent speed and low latency and apparently CL30 6000mhz is the sweet spot for this set-up without any issues.
Thanks, and looking forward to your reply! ✌️
Amazing, great work !!! Love it !!!
Just a suggestion do add the price in the description at which the build is made.....for all you upcoming build videos
Thanks. Awesome video
Wow, the quality of your videos is insanely increased lately. Love your new standard 👌🏼
they always look that way
These sff builds are so satisfying....
amazing builds, any channel is at your level imo
Gran video. Me ha encantado la compilación. Solo me queda saber como has usado una Tablet como monitor? me dejas loco!
Someone did cram a 4070 in to the Velka 3 by creating a CNC adapter to use a short ITX GPU cooler from palit (i think), that was widely used on the last gen A4000.
Looks super ncie! I just have a question: How loud is the case (fans) under full load?
Love it! My only concern is how hot it is?
Ong the smartness needed for these builds id beyond my comprehension hahaha. GREAT JOB MAN!
look at the minisforum bd770i for these builds also. just benched it vs my 7700x and it was very very slightly slower but perfect for this kind of build and cheaper.
I have the Densium 4+ (V1) and I COULD get a 4070 in there, the Zotac 4070 just needs a few mm snipped off or I have to drill out the wooden front a bit. :D
My mainsystem is 20 liters (NR200P), but has a 280 AIO and a 4090 in it... I wanted the Dan C4 case, but it was sold out.
I followed along and built this pc for a dedicated VR flight simulator setup. Running almost maxed settings in DCS World, and it's amazing. Killer machine for the size and price.
Thanks, Devyn! Looking forward to your future builds!
What flight sim are you using?
@@manho9877 DCS World (Digital Combat Simulator)
Heyy how much did you spent all together for this build?
@y21rico83 If I remember correctly, I paid just over $2,300 USD for everything but a monitor.
@@Vern_Von_Trertnert wow that is quite pricy… thank you for the info 🙏
Would love to see you try out the HDPLEX GaN powersupplies in these SFF cases!
Pretty much a drop in replacement for FlexATX while being alot smaller.
The HDPLEX GaN power supplies are great, but are longer than standard FlexATX PSUs, so not a drop-in replacement in the Velka cases.
The HDPLEX 250W is 170mm long, and the 500W is 200mm, but the max length of FlexATX is 150mm.
I have done a build with the 500W HDPLEX PSU in the Velka 5 (revision 2.1), but I had to screw it onto the cases side panel lengthwise above the GPU because it was too long to fit in the regular spot. This limited the max height of the GPU so I had to go with the low profile Gigabyte 4060.
If you want to use a standard height GPU then I think you're limited to FlexATX in the Velka 3 and 5.
This really is a remarkable little one!
Fun video, would love to see a 4070 ti super smallest case build.
just out of the curiosity : is l9a-am5 compatible with b650i aorus board? and also what was the fan RPM and noise during load/games?
Another beauty < 3
Devyn just keeps cooking!
I have a question, have you noticed a lot of turbulence when using the noctua l9a? I recently tried using the z39 metalfish cooler and that eliminated it
Tbh you should try thermright's cooler options they are better than noctua's offerings at the same sizes. May get you a little more overhead.
I just love watching sff builds ❤
Dan case 7.2 ltr.. i5, runs great I have had it a few months now
have you looked at the new Asrock B650i Motherboard? Also any recommendations for a good HDMI extension that can be mounted & secured to the case?
I got a SFF ROG G21CX with i9 9900K , 32GB ram, and 4070 upgraded from 2080. Best $1300 build i've done.
Hey! I can suggest 1 more small build - Intel NUC 11 Extreme Kit, its really small and can fit some 4070 models, for example MSI ventus, i have tested and even 3 fan model fits in there. Also You can find those pretty cheap, got mine for 500 euros brand new.
Great vid 😊 thank you
Hey, brother. What do you recommend for a workstation for engineering tasks (aersopace) and light gaming but I would also like power efficiency?
Could you just use the driver setup to redirect the video signal path so it allows you to use your mainboard dp to access the gpu? I even believe windows does this by default when the load gets high enough
alternative cases soon? rlly tough to get these outside USA especially cuz of import fees
Any chance we can get a budget itx build similar to this? That would be incredible!
The Aorus board does have at least the power switch header on the board itself, by the USB 3.0 header. plenty for a system like this.
Lovely build, i should try one myself xD
Love your smallest PC series.
cleanest build I've ever seen
i just ordered myself a b650e and 7600x for my mini its build in the lazmod a24-v5 case, just missing the grapichs card and ram which i am ordering next month
great video, 1 small ask, please use chapters in video, thanks
Hi really love what u did. But i do have a question. If i like to keep this case but change mainboard asus for intel instead.
Which asus mainboard u recommend to fit with this case and have thunderbolt port? Graphic card still nvidia 4070.
did you used spacers for the riser cable on the backside of the MB ?
Hi Devyn.
I’m after this but for a 300mm GPU. Is the T1 my best bet.
M8, thnkyu! I'm between thise 3 motherboards, more towards the asus for the futureproof pcie5, but im.worried about ram stability and bios stability, as well as overvoltage. Im going with a 7800x3d and 32GB of 6000 CL30.
I think i should have got the 48GB 6400 CL32 from Gskill.
Now im quite aware of the memory hight, i might reconsider for the venegamce or flare x.
Thx for pointing out noctua compatibility list as well never would think they have it.
I wanted so much to buy a fractal Terra
Looks like a great build
would love to see a built on Streacom DA6!
Nice setup and video! The case is it compatible with a power supply from HDPLEX 250W GaN Passive AIO ATX Power Supply
? For a setup without graphic card.
Thank you
Is included Prism Fan with CPU bad? That you use Noctua? How big is temp difference?
I hopes one day this would be my first gaming pc 🤞
do you think its worth to lap or delid for a mini itx build?
Does it run well. No overheat?
This is sick!! I love it
Man as a guy that came up with ATX mid towers that some next level building.
Omg, it us such a cool PC, love it. Will try to make the same)
Do you think a 4070 super will fit now since it came out?
Can you build a super strong mini PC like this with a screen attached?
Hey Devyn, you inspired me to copy this exact build! I just had a quick question in your professional opinion. Could I use the AMD Ryzen 5 7600X instead of the standard 7600? They are around the same price currently, but if I will be risking power consumption issues I would not want to risk it. Thank you for the amazing content as always!
I am building this ! Can you recommend the hdmi extender please?
where do you get that case?
This is awesome. Is there room for a wifi card?
Could you try to build an all flash NAS in this case with 10 gigabit ethernet?
Bro if I only could afford a build like this, I'm crazy for these small beasts
is there a cheaper motherboard alternative can you recommend for this build?
You can actually forgo the daughterboard crap on the gigabyte b650 and plug the front panel IO right in to the motherboard, but you lose SATA. It didn’t matter to me though because of the three m.2 slots. I’ll be making a video on my build eventually and I’ll show how to skip the daughterboard. My build is a Fractal Terra, Ryzen 9 7950x3d and a 4070ti.
This is great! What I haven't seen yet is this taken to the opposite extreme. Someone to build a large full tower with everything in it. A lot of things many people don't need, optical drives, heck even a tape drive system, every pci slot on the motherboard in use.
Something I'd wanna see LTT or someone else do is an immersion pc with electrocool like what the bitcoin miners use. Very different to mineral oil.
