  • An "on the road" musing on the process of differentiating oneself from "the mind" and then ultimately dissolving that separation

    good video. in the old Zen, (Chan) tradition that what we call "mind" is not something I can point too. "mind" is claimed to be beyond all categories, much like the term "Tao". that , that cannot be categorized, in fact, to even name this as "mind" is limiting it. trying to box in something that transcends all definitions. Kind of an unfortunate occurrence that this term was translated into the western concept of "mind", which we visualize as either the brain, or some part of us. One of the reasons I am attracted to words like "suchness" which doesn't have all the baggage.
