over all this seems fairly accurate as a description but the conclusion struck me as yet another version of the spiritual journey dressed in deconstructed yarn, this appearing to arrive at the revealed truth of being via some sort of logical thought process. im not very philosophically inclined though so i can't really tell if that impression is correct at all or if my mind has just gone numb chasing shadows. it will be interesting to find out what happens.

While the deconstructive process has been described in some sort of logical sequence for the sake of explanation there is very little that feels logical or rational about it as it happens. In fact, it feels like an unraveling of one’s mind and identity in a way that is not pleasant in the least. What I failed to mention in the video is the long period of soul crushing nihilism one is cast into as a precursor to settling into the truth of one’s being beyond the ego constructs. And there is no guarantee how long that period of nihilism will last…

Great video. But I got to give you some shit. First of all, an Indian guy driving in the Canadian winter bundled to the max making a freaking pod cast! God save us! Secondly, you own that hat. I want that hat. It rocks! If you die before me, have someone send me that freaking hat. Lastly , I think we all need to go through our own dark night where we embrace a spiritual path, then get totally desponded by it, until , in total desperation, we dump it all, and the light comes on, so to speak. I really don't know if there is any other way. In telling folks about the crooked path, they might decide that it is all shit, and never get to experience the simple, obvious realization that it has always been right here. The old Bruce Lee comment: "Before I started to take martial arts, a kick was just a kick and a punch was just a punch. When I started to learn martial arts, a kick was no longer just a kick and a punch was no longer just a punch. When I started to understand martial arts, once again a kick was just a kick and a punch was just a punch."

Zen pig - interesting story about this hat. I bought it 10 years ago and a craft fair in Toronto. It was hand made by this guy from Quebec who was a surgeon who quit his practice and was living in the wilderness of Quebec for 10 years. He hunted and local wildlife and made fur hats and shoes for a living. He spent an hour explaining the process of how he made this hat. It’s one of my few prized possessions but I can only wear it when it gets REALLY cold otherwise I feel too hot in it!
Which is a long winded way of saying you ain’t gettin’ my fuckin’ hat! I’m taking it to the grave with me! 😂
