For as much as my grandmother talked of the Ike dollar, it surprisingly wasn't one of the coins she left. The Ike's all went to Reno apparently! 😂 Thanks Shawn!
At least she had fun...did she leave you any?
@@kclund1125She did actually gave me a small coin collection from my great grandmother. Mainly half pennys, Indian cents, Mercury dimes and a few others! No silver dollars though.
My wife works retail. She brought me 2 almost mist condition 1976 quaters. Sides still have there edges and a slight rainbow to them.
@@SJ-hw7bx I need to get them graded
Nice...
Thanks Shaun for pointing out the difference between a type 1 and a Type 2.
Thank you for making this kind of Vid's this summer, I'm even putting them in my saved vid's !!!
Thank you for your information on error coins!!! Have a blessed day because you deserve it!!!
Thank you for showing me more of the bicentennial coins . I love them . Shaun you and your family have a very blessed day.
1976 Great Year!
O m g :*
What?
@@deannalea1515 Soo Beautiful.
Yes it was my year I was born.
Along with the last video on toned cents these error coins are too by far among my favourite coins, the last 5 were AMAZING, thank you again for another brilliant video. God bless and good night from London 🇬🇧
Im so excited to get home now and look at my bicentennial quarters now
I just got my bicentennial back from NGC with my Apollo 11 commemorative proof coin and it came back MS70 there was only 623 that came back 70 so far
How do I get my coins graded with ngc and at what price
first you have to call and join NGC I got the gold membership I believe it's $150 then they will send you forms out you fill the forms out and it's probably right around 30 bucks a coin to get graded, yeah for 6 coins it was $170, and when you go to the Post office you insure your coins, 430 box and that will give you a $1,000 policy in case they lose your coins, and it takes like 5 weeks to get your coins back graded
To much to pay for grading I go to a coin gallery its free.
@@wendyaminzadeh7846 oh you're paying, there is no such thing as free grading
I don't pay.
Loved it Shaun, great video. I have several bicentennial coins of all three denomination, but none of those, darn.
I'm fixin to go through grandpa's collection now, thank u.
Lucky I wish my grandparents gave me coins..
Thanks again for another very informative video. I'll definitely keep a lookout for these coins.
Great info blueridge makes me want to hunt for some keep up the good work and have a nice day
Thanks again for another great video Blue Ridge !!! I used to only look for silver but since I started watching your channel I've switched to searching for errors, varieties and mint state coins. Thanks for sharing your coin knowledge with us.

Thanks
thanks
My dad was big on the bicentennial year. Left me a bunch of these. Most still have the new luster or purple haze.
Thanks for sharing the knowledge
Hey there Blue Ridge, good day to you! GREAT video!!! I imagine that this video is a real eye opener to some. I had the good fortune (if you want to call it that) of buying a roll of Bicentennial Eisenhower Denver mint type I dollars. The roll grades, on average, MS64 with maybe a couple of MS65's. I've had them to about 20 years. Sure would be nice if they were Phillies in 65+!!! As always, great video, you never disappoint! Stay cool Blue, it's supposed to be 100 degrees in our neck of the woods again!
I like the 3 coin proof set in 40% silver beautiful coins.
Hound... (SHAUN) YOU WON'T QUIT! I LOVE THAT ABOUT YOU.YOUR HEART AND SOUL ARE INTO THIS.I SO RESPECT AND APPRECIATE YOUR TEACHINGS. BETWEEN YOU AND I....Sometimes I know you are the "teacher...i...the student"...you don't bulls-it me...i believe u should be more acknowledged and appreciated ❤THANK you SHAUN❤
Great info sir, thank you for sharing.
A nice informative video, thank you for your expertise.
Great information! Many thanks!!
I’ve always loved the bicentennial quarter what’s not to like ! Just bought a silver proof set ! I have a roll of quarters I save them I will have to look ! Denver mint stoners ?
I have the type 1 P&D dollar in a mint set are they worth getting graded
Oh boy! Errors and varieties!!
Thanks, Shaun!
Again great info thanks
What's the Wexler numbers for 3.54 minute mark? Spread direction and CCW OR CW, and compass points?
Another great video! Thanks
THANK U VERY MUCH QUITE INFORMATIVE AND INTERESTING. RESPECTFULLY MSD😮
I just came home from the Casino with a '76 Drummer Quarter (+ 1946 Wheat penny). It is shiny and in excellent condition..for it's age. I've discovered the casinos are great for coin hunting. I've started 'cashing out' with .99 just for the coins. :)
I actually have gotten silver coins in change from a casino.
Good video. I collect all bicentennials. Wish I had the Eisenhower error.. Didn't know about the quarter error u said. Gonna put it in my notes.
I was born in 1976.yay.
I have a Bicentennial half dollar that I thought was struck through Grease Kennedy is missing his hair and the T in Liberty is missing now I'm starting to wonder if it was die adjustment
I have a 1976 half dollar, the ree in freedom and the H in half are missing due to a grease mark. Off center as well. Is there any value to this coin. Thanks your videos are awesome!
I love to collect these IKE's. I love them and have a few that I got a couple of years ago. It would be so awesome to find any of these coins. So far I haven't. Good video. Thanks again. ☺
Ive got some if your interested...
@@kclund1125 Thanks but I have plenty. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. 🤶🎅🎄☃⛄🎄❄
@@ShirlBussman ;BUT YOU SAID IT WOULD BE AWESOME TO FIND ANY OF THESE COINS. KELLY SAYS SHE HAS SOME AND WILLING TO LET GO OM A FEW. THEN YOU SAY NO THANKS , I HAVE PLENTY. YOU LIED . THAT WAS RUDE TO KELLY SHAME ON YOU.
@@captainmoretokin2172 Did you even once think about the timeline here? I now
have more than I want. They really don't have much of value. You don't know
my situation so name calling is rude an uncalled for in this case. Mind your
own business.
@@ShirlBussman ; No. lol I'm retired now so i don't have a business any more, so i'm in everybody else's. are you selling any IKE's?
Great video sweet lineup
Cool info. Thanks
I have a couple of each of those coins need to check them out
I have the Eisenhower dollar type 1 brilliant uncirculated in plastic I bought from Bradford you think it'd be worth getting graded
I also have a "71" S silver clad, is yours in a blue envelope?
Hi Shaun wow I just checked my philly set and its in nint state and the type one lol ty ty ty
You Don't know what you are talking about there's no way that a courter image is going to fit in a a dime planchet as you showed in this video crazy.
I have all three of these in mint condition inside a case of some sort? Has a quote on the front and stuff. Think I could get some help figuring this out?
I found a D bicentennial quarter that has a drum that was not fully struck and the er in the quarter, the d in dollar are half gone. I don't know how else to describe it. I live in okc and wanted to know if it is worth taking to someone and if you know of a reputable person here in okc.
YOU MY DEAR CRACKED ME UP. THAT LAST IKE WILL PROBABLY GIVE ME NIGHTMARES FOR MONTH'S.LOL.THANK YOU FOR SHARING...THEY ARE EXTREMELY INTERESTING COINS🐈🐈🐅🐅🐃💕💗💗💗💗☉
Ty sir. Ty for info.
I just picked up a 1974s ike silver proof yesterday my LCS has them out of the sets so I get them cheaper
I have a 1776-1976 s PF 68 ultra Cameo type 1, are they worth any money
noticed on the last ike dollar on quarter planchet. the ear is different ... is this an additional error or variety. maybe unknown !? i looked thru bunch of pics and only see him with ... mostly full earlobe . what is the huge notch in earlobe about. did i notice something big, or is this just part of the striking on wrong planchet?
On the bicentennial quarters which mint's are we looking for
Great bicentennial coins. I used to have a safe full of them unless someone broke my safe and stole all of them.
Check to see if you have them still they sound valuable
Do you mean until? If not you should definitely chk and see.
I learn something new everyday. Thanks Shaun 🤟
I enjoy watching all of your videos. Keep up the good work. 💕
Gotta check all my coins now 😜
Interesting I do a lot of 50 hunting not much rolls just graven here and there I'll get lucky. Thanks foreheads up
hello Mr. blue ridge good morning
some question. About my penny 2 1982 has no mint mark and my 1970 d
has
faded of of america and also my
1071 s has no i in liberty. And my dine 10 cent 1985 d also faded IN, WE there any value of thus penny ser thank you
Please let me know how much you would be selling a silver dollar coin for considering a 1971, 1972, 1974, 1978, and a 1979 silver dollar coin for. Please let me know the you would sell each dated silver dollar I mentioned for.
Thanks,
Scott Prosser
How does pcgs work? I have a lot of all three coins in unc state. Just beautiful rich smooth surface with awesome luster. How do if send some to pcgs?
I have an Eisenhower bicentennial D one dollar coin. How would I go about selling not sure how too. Thank You
Good video blue I found 1 bicentennial quarter that it has or instead of on reverse 👍👍👍👍👍
@jfsfrnd yeah error coin bicentennial quarter 👍
I have two of the quarters that are missing the top layer.
I have a Kennedy half dollar that looks like he has a halo.
What is a set of 1776-1976 Type 1 s mint set worth. the coins are in about MS 65.
Got the D 'bicen in gas station change 2day I did. Is it normal for the IN, in "IN God We Trust" to be much blockier/larger than the rest of the letters/words? Apologies for I know this ? can be shortened 'cept 4 sum reason I'm having a derpy der moment.
I have a Ike bincentennial dollar that is gold plated with 24k gold I think.
Steven Kaiser's Outdoors Adventures I’m pretty sure when that coin is gold plated like that, it takes away any numismatic value! I saw the video on that like maybe four days ago or something
@@neighborhoodfriendlyquadri343 I've tried looking it up on coin facts app. It's a Denver minted coin. So who plates them. Is it the US mint?
I have the JFK and george washington gold gilded coins which aren't worth anything.
@ On the three,1776-1976,Bi-Centinnial 200 years,I have Roosvelt,1 dollar,Type2,,reverse, The Big Bell, with a Mint mark,"D
Just had a bunch of those.
I have bicentenial coin D :D and those without the letter as well
I have 4 of these half dollars, that are in good shape
So is good to keep all the bicentennial coins?
Question, should the Eisenhower Dollar cojn have a mint mark on it?
Yes, if it was minted at either Denver (D) or San Francisco (S). 🙂
I have 1944, 1950, and1956 wheat pennies, where can I get them graded at in Pennsylvania.
I have the Bicentennial coins and would sell them for the right price I have sets of the ones that you have pictured
I have one about to check it
I have 2 of them one with D and one without
I have a 1979 wide rim s b .
Anthony @a sac.
1$ coin with no date, could anyon.
Tell me how much it might be worth?e
I learned a few days ago that the bicentennial quarter should be called the Colonial drummer since many of the drummers were girls, the part of the drummer was important many lives were saved because of them.
I just had a half dollar one made into a ring, hope I didn't make a mistake.
I've got two 1976.1976 Bicentennial Quarters, both are off struck, one has a D mint mark, and the other dosen't have any mint mark at all, there both in excellent condition.
Can anyone tell me the value of these two Quarters.
I'm so confused about scratched coin's because they are selling but yet the grading company says they won't grade those coin's so what is the truth ? Hope to hear back from you blue ridge silver hound
Comprei um conjunto lacrado Mint 1976 S, porém a moeda de US$ 1 VEIO COM A DATA DE 1978. ... PODEMOS CONSIDERAR ERRO E AGREGAR VALOR AO ONJUNTO ?
Great 👍
My question is: Should I be saving uncirculated or circulated bicentennial coins for my great-grandchildren? Likewise, should I save circulated or uncirculated State coins, SBA's, Ike's, or Kennedy's for my great-grandchildren?
Morning Sean, just watched you Ike errors again. I hope you saw my last email. I have saw lots of errors. And you see them on different coins. But I can not find a error like I have. A bicentennial proof Ike. With a big half bubble on his head. I would like to here from you with some advice. Would like you to post it for me. To get the word out. Thank you Robert
I have lots of Bicentennial's and I ordered more
Cool video Bicentennial child so I am a collector of all bicentennial I have a 76 Kennedy missing the five stars on reverse Center under Independence Hall I'm assuming Greece strike? Otherwise the coin is pretty clean
I have a question, I know this has nothing to do with the subject of the Bicentennial coins but, its about the Roosevelt Dime.
Why hasn't the mint made any kind of changes to it in the last 73+ yrs, I mean the "Mercury" dime wasn't minted for as long as the Roosevelt has, plus no design changes since its initial minting in 1946.
The Lincoln obv penny (2 times), Jefferson obv nickel and Washington obv quarters, all have had at least one design change since their modern minting.
Are they ever going to redesign the Roosevelt?
That's a good question. I guess nobody has come up with a good enough reason to do so. 🙂
I have a Bicentennial Proof set
Where do I get these graded, I have several of these dollars coins
I have an all silver bi Centennial quarter
Watching this and looking at my IKES i realized . type 1 block letters on reverse.?. Question this one says E URIBUS UNUM . The PL in PLURIBUS is missing. Coin has no wear on it. Very cool
I have 3 bicentennial quarters.
GD evening sir I have 2pcs bicentennial both of them are errors how can I send to you I m in the Philippines thank u sir
I have hundreds of the quarters and some of the others but I have a big gold coin that’s a bicentennial I can’t find any others like it it’s got the liberty bell on the front and an eagle on the back
Hi i have 2 set off bicentenary off the U.S.A
in very good condition.
I have one no mint mark crooked left shoulder how much if any is this worth
I have a quarter from unknown year. Recent. Can tell modern back. The front is normal except it is partially covered by silver. Lile it wasnt fully coverec2
Btw.. The year is unknown cause there is no visible year.
I have an 1984 D well i think it's a D it looks more like an o but it looks like it was going to get cut of like in a quarter and trust is spelled tpust well u can't see the s very well. Does anyone know anything about this coin? I also have the bicentennial quarter s. So are these worth anything?
I have ten from Denver mint quarters
I have a no mint mark bicentennial that weighs 5.76 and a Denver that weighs 5.57 are these errors
The coins in the white cardboard paper are they proof coins .. I am guessing they are but not sure..
