We have a 42 foot Jayco Seismic Wave Toy Hauler. Ours garage is 14', we normally carry our golf cart, our 6 burner grill and an electric wheel chair. That about fills it up. Our folding chairs we place on the golf cart seat during transport, and we use the golf cart back carrier to haul our firewood around.
Nice to see you back doing videos after your break.

Love touring other RVs and how folks customize it to fit their needs. Like you said, it is all about balancing the trade-offs. We went from a Fusion Toyhauler to a Riverstone 42FSKG garage model that we put our Can-AM RT in. Love our front kitchen but do at times miss our rear patio - the dogs DEFINITELY do!! Safe travels!

Our last toy hauler was the Vengeance 40D12. It had a huge side patio. We will never have another toy hauler without a side patio. Our favorite part by far.

We have an Alliance Valor 40v13 and we haul 2 motorcycles a Yamaha Venture Intercontinental and Yamaha Road Star Silverado. We prefer a half bath not a full as it's usually just my husband and myself. We also chose ours partially based on the accessibility on travel days and not having to put out slides to access the fridge and bathroom. We are also setting up my office in the garage as you have done.

We just ordered the GD 397TH for full time RV living, and it was a super close call between it and the 399. I wanted the side patio, but we also wanted a shower in the back as we are adventurers and need a place to clean up when we are muddy, gritty, wet, etc. I thought I wanted the w/d in the back but my husband didn't want to take up garage space. And, ultimately, what tipped was the lack of using the refrigerator and bedroom toilet on travel days. Like Dan and Eva, we bicycle, and dirt bike, and kayak so the garage toilet will most likely be blocked. It seemed like the 397 has more kitchen space. Honestly we would be thrilled with either model, but had to chose one, and it was the 397.
We love Winter Park area for skiing, but have never been in the summer. Will be one of the first places we go when our trailer arrives. The natural hot springs in that area are to die for.

The video was super but for can’t go up that high, have COPD, doctor said keep below 5,000 feet. Will see. If you ever have a chance Estes Park Colorado is great, you can enter the rocky national park up there, there is two ways you can go both are sharp turns, the one I always enjoy is thru Thompson Canyon, but watch the weather it rains be ready to climb the side of a high hill. But the drive is super, I don’t know if you could get the rig up there the road is sharp at the entrance out of Loveland starting at the Dam your right next to the rocks. Coming down you would have to go all the way over to your left. There are RV parks at the end of town towards the Dam. I use to live in Loveland and really miss it. I’m glad that everything is going great. You take 25 north to 34 to Loveland. Loveland has a Great Lake kinda in the middle. It’s about 21 miles to Estes Park from the Dam.

I did modify it into a bedroom for our Great Dane as it also has a fold able queen bed for the Dane. Drag it with a Frod E-350 extended super duty 1 ton van which can also hold JUNK! Also, was there any problem with the mosquitos in the evenings during the time you were there? We have been there the last two summers mid-July to mid-August and the mosquitos were brutal in the evenings. It seems like their are more bad reviews (Really bad) vs good. Mainly about major issues with the RV. Poor service. RVs being in the shop for months. Is this the norm for RVs? It’s a lot of money to be worry about constantly dealing with these issues. Most of these reviews are about brand new units. Can I get your experienced opinion.
