Yes, this describes my husband! My husband asked me 3 days after dating do I mind being a minister’s wife, then we were together EVERY single day and married exactly one year later. It’s been a BEAUTIFUL 26 years of marriage and we had never spent one married night apart until he was hospitalized for cancer treatment. He is in recovery now and we still love, value and honor each other. Our daughter is getting married in two weeks and I pray that her fiancé feels this way for her. It seems like he does! ❤️

He said he likes my company but no intention to marry me because he already married and had one daughter 25 years old but divorce 12 years. He got money house business his own. He makes good money . But when we go out he is so stingy. But because he help me going shopping drive to the supermarket and he lawn mower my front lawn. But he never he hide me to his mom and sister. I’m older with him 6years I’m 64. His 58. He wants to find a wife to gave a family to have children because his daughter to his ex wife he give it to his wife.. so he wants a woman to have a kids his 58 years old. His mother longing grandkids because her first granddaughter is in the ex wife of his son. And my ex boyfriend he said if he will get old no one will look after him because he got money. A buddy of mine who is now in his late 60s told me stories about his parents who were married for quite a long time until they passed away.
He told me that his dad was NEVER the type to say I love you or get mushy around her.
However, he showed affection thru his actions.
For example, Every morning while mom is getting ready for work as a school teacher, dad would make sure to get up earlier to clean the car from the morning dew, start the engine and turn the heater on so she doesn’t feel the early morning cold.
He’s done that every day until she retired.
It’s a Small gesture but leaves a lifetime memory filled with love & affection.

So true my ex was just that, a narcissist. He loved to be around me all day everyday and told me he couldn't go a day without me. But, the red flags were he would yell and curse at me when he got angry. Then he would say negative things to make me feel worthless and lust after different women. Now after watching these videos I realized he was playing me all along. Now that I'm single, I am learning new knowledge and to use wisdom and to be careful!

I feel flat on my face and cried out to Jesus. I am thankful to say that I have not slept with a man out of marriage since 2017. It's not a very long time, and temptation is always presented, but God! He is a mighty deliverer and my soul sure does feel better.

I was married for 13 years, in a relationship for 7 years and a rebound for 9 months. God led me to this message and I am so glad. I have been divorced for 30 years after being married for 12. I now know why. I have always respected our Black Nubian Queens but Pastor Blakes has shown what I haven't always done. I realize it is ONLY when a man understands he must:

Interestingly enough, this teaching was uploaded on my birthday. After being married 45 years, during your instruction, I evaluated my relationship with my husband and remembered our beginning. I can truly say that Michael loved me, valued, and honored me. It is the Lord's doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes because my husband has constant in his care for me. The one about anger touched me the most. My dad was abusive and walked out growing up. Then I would choose men who were the same way for so many years. Now that is the biggest turn off. I want to see somebody who is kind and genuine and treats everybody around him with kindness. Somebody who never acts when angry. Once you see them angry you see the true person.
My last boyfriend ( 50) always took phone calls when I was over. He made plans to hang with friends after I came to spend time with him. I left him.

I like how pastor Blake's is focusing on energy. I once dated a man that was very charming, he portrayed like he cared and supported me but only if I gave him my peace in return. I found myself not even breathing at times while in his company. His energy was bad! I had to pick myself up and get out of there.

Agreed! Men love beautiful woman. God made us the way he did because he made man the way he did. Woman also want to be with a man who is attractive. Does he have to be a perfect 10? Absolutely not but you shouldn't want to throw up in your mouth a little bit when thinking about being intimate with him. I dated a man who treated me like a true Queen but I was repulsed by him physically. Men ain't doing that...getting involved with a woman that he's not attracted to.

I two was married for 28 years. I realized that he gave me what he was capable of giving, lying and cheating. I emerged from that married with my self esteem in tact. I'll always love him but I just couldn't give that man all of my life. It was one skeezer after another. I ended up taking two blood pressure meds, stomach medications, and meds for nervousness. I met my current husband and didn't look back. My ex cries a lot about how he misses me and I believe him. I always change the subject. I'm free praise the Lord I'm free, no longer bound, I've got no chains holding me.
32 yrs for me. Used and taken advantage of direspected, liar, fake, always trying to impress the public, a Mr think that he walks on water. Not faithful, womanizer in church, on job etc. Not a real man.

If he truly love, value and honor you, then he would work and provide for his family. He will be more concerned about your needs rather than his own. Unfortunately, many boys were never taught how to be a good man by example. Maturity doesn't automatically come with age. Most boys are raised by females in single parent households in the black community. A boy needs a good man, in most cases, to teach him how to be a man. I'm not putting down sisters trying to raise their sons alone, I applaud them. However God's order is the best: love, marriage, sex and babies. We got it twisted.
