That's lovely. I didn't grow up with a strong masculine presence in my home so I never really learned how a solid masculine male shows love for a woman. I grew up around "strong independent women." I think more women need to learn these lessons. I am learning now as an adult.
My father did his best his father was not a good example of how you treatment a Women so iit became a generational curse that was handed down to me and my sisters,, in which we are trying to heal from these things. It's hard though.

I was with my ex husband for almost 19 years with 3 kids and never felt loved. He never took me out or the kids out as he was always making excuses. I damaged myself by staying in that relationship for so long and was always covering up for him. All these signs mentioned were everything I experienced in my 19 years of being married to that man. Thank goodness I summoned the courage to walk out of that abusive relationship and I am happy as it was the best decision of my life. I think we as women should start loving ourselves.

@@cynthiaziegler6558not necessarily. Some of us have jobs in noisy environments and we are there for 12 hours out of our day. Talking on the phone is not even feasible or allowed there except for during break. I also work midnights so my break times are when most people are asleep anyway. Texting is the only way to communicate on those particular days.
I have also had guys laugh and make fun of my southern accent. Some of them have even had the audacity to put the call on speaker phone so that their buddies can also get a good laugh out of “this dumb hilljack”. I absolutely hate talking on the phone for that reason alone. I have to text someone for a while just to make sure they do have a genuine interest in me and that I can trust them to not do that mess beforehand.
Hi there, i agree with you , a man who loves you will call you throughout the day to make sure you are ok and to hear your voice because he misses you , i learnt the hard way, had a good guy who when i called him at work( he was a doctor) would drop everything, literally, to talk to me , there was never any doubt , he did never not answer, i left him looking for adventure and guess what i found ? The worst narcissistic abuser who mistreated and abused me and lied and cheated , and i thought he was good - looking lol, i lost everything, my pride , my money, my dignity and here i am thinking what was I thinking? He reinforced what I understand about a man truly loving a woman, he will give everything including his money, not this 50/50 lie that is being pushed around in the dating world. Women need to know and accept this truth that if a man does not provide, then he really doesn't love her. Not that you can't provide for yourself, but a when a man loves you he will want and will provide because he sees you as a queen, and will do everything to protect his queen and his house. You've confirmed what I really know. I've told my boyfriend twice already about something that upsets me (contact with his ex). Yesterday he confirmed yet again that he's contacted her again. I heard this sermon late last night on the radio. The car is the only time I listen to the radio. I didn’t even plan to be in the car on that day at that time. When I turned on the radio, it was right at point number 4. I was stuck, frozen in my seat. I felt like he was speaking directly to me.

I was one time engaged to a man, I was emotionally really thirsty and had no reassurance from him, I spoke it out and his response was “that’s what you have are desires and I am not responsible for your desires, that’s your desire not mine”… he did not value my needs. It was like drinking an empty cup. I broke up with him. It was the worst feeling for me to have: being in a relationship and still feeling alone by myself. Love doesn’t hurt.

When I was about 10 years old, I asked my mother how I would know if a man loved me? I primarily asked her this because I realized at that young of an age that my father didn't love her. She hated me for recognizing this before she did. Actually, she never did realize it. Sad.

Yet sometimes in his texts he'd say he loved me and if he hadn't seen me for a while he'd say, "I miss you!" We're no longer communicating, so we're no longer friends. He likes to go out with women all the time, and I bet he's broken several hearts now. It's really sad. I know he broke my heart. He was so sweet and kind and thoughtful in the beginning. I thought this was my dream come true. Now... nothing.

It is sad that a lot of religions preach down to women. This is a lesson like a father would want for his daughter that he truly loves. There are so many men who don't seem to be capable of loving a woman. That included my father. My father was the cheapest man on the planet who took money after my mom's death, yet spent it all on himself while we barely got by, and he never told us that he had received that money, I had to find out from the grand parent. He claims he loved my mother, yet he would be gone for days at a time without a phone call, I saw my mother crying while she took responsibilities, but not him. I knew he didn't really love me, and that lack of love showed in my relationships with men. I finally learned to keep away from toxic men and accept myself, broken and damaged as I am, but I now know that either I will have real love or no man is worth my time or energy. Evil men are everywhere, but they better stay away from me.

For the unbelivers of these spoken words, if any, it's time to give up, grow up and put your life in order. All will go well in this area.
