I don't know if my fellow INTPs would agree but I always think about how INTJ is the version of myself I strive for, like I am at my best when I am under impression I am somehow developing into INTJ by getting into the zone of working and getting things done... Sadly it doesn't last long because we always end up straying away from the plan and just winging it through life. 😂
I think nagging is something that may annoy INTPs because they are AWARE or their disorder but trying to somehow manage it is...A hassle and it never lasts long for us haha. But please INTJs, ENTJs and ESTJs, keep an eye on your INTP friends, they feel stressed out with the nagging and planning but actually it is very beneficial for us. I won't be happier just because I've proved someone else wrong. It's more important to be right for its own sake than to convince someone else of it.

So as an ENFJ, I approach most situations like, "Ok, here is the emotional landscape, and what has meaning and value to the people involved. *INFP* : Very nice. Strong morals but still very sensitive. My best friend is an INFP because we are complete opposite and we keep each other from going insane.
*ISFP* :big 🥺✌️ vibes. the ones I’ve met are very cool and funny but get sad very easily haha and I don’t why. Also, my ISFP sister makes me laugh because she’ll hide from me why she’s sad, and then get annoyed with me for asking over and over, and then later get mad at me for not finding out LOL 😂
*INTP* : i love most of the INTPs I’ve met because most of the time IM the one accidentally offending people and making them cry, and it’s nice to have someone to relate to.
*ISTP* : ive never related more to anyone in my life. my ISTP best friend is the only person I can plan revenge with without being judged lol. We work very well together.
*ISFJ* :BIG BIG 🥺💖🥺 VIBES. My favorite teacher is an ISFJ because she honestly cares about her students (more than most teachers) and she really wants us to like her haha. Talking to her is so wholesome and refreshing.
*INFJ* :my other friend is an INFJ and is very self conscious. I’ve tried SO HARD to get her to be mean to me and I can’t lol she’s very shy but also very loyal and she also doesn’t get offended when I say stupid things (or at least doesn’t show it.) and that’s the thing, I can’t tell if she’s pissed at me or not.
*ENTJ* : because this is my type, I’m gonna say %100 honest, I’ve never disliked someone more. The few ENTJs I’ve met, our personalities clash so so so bad that I have literally beat up all of them in my head at one point. But I admire their strength and self discipline. I wish i was as strong as the ones I’ve met lol
*ESTJ* : never met one sorry!
*ESFJ* : never met an ESFJ either! Sorry!
*ENFJ* :the ENFJs ive met are all really nice. Kind of similar vibes to the ISFP. Except with a bit of perfectionism sprinkled on and bam.
*ENTP* : the only ENTP I’ve ever met I have an actual death wish for ❤️
but Im sure ENTPs aren’t all like that one person. Her good qualities were that if I was getting picked on (and we were friends) then she would stand up for me, AND harass the rude person until the day they die.
*ESTP* : i like ESTPs, they’re funny. The ESTPs ive met ALSO dont get offended easily, so we get along well.
*ENFP* : I’ve never met an ENFP who’s a child, only adults, and they are for the most part open minded and nice.
*ESFP* : 🎭 🥸🥳🤪😂✨🥺🧁 vibes. The ones I’ve met are pretty funny but go over board often.
Sorry if I missed a couple. This is also completely inaccurate and based off one persons opinion only lol 😂 I’ll see you later.

      Wow, a truly contributory comment!
I can try and help with the ISFP. Approach her on Se, not Te. Se is her top extraverted function, while on Te she'd be insecure and nervous, especially if she's already upset. Chances are she expects you to pay more attention to Se facts as they happen (I know it's harder for you...) and doesn't want to Te tell.
Try to look for what she shows when you ask, not what she tells. Try to Ni connect facts you can recall and guess what could have hurt her. If she expected you to find out, she thinks you have enough facts and just don't pay attention.
If this isn't working, try to get her to express it with Se, to point, write... Try get her active somehow, do something together (something physical. It can be artistic or sportive, or even useful but not as a "need now" task. Tasks fall on Te, try telling her "I want to do X sometime, if you want to join..." and let go if she refuses. It must be her choice, just give her the option and feeling that you'd be happy and appreciate. She might Se reveal something, or if her Se is engaged enough, she migh be able to talk things out.
      But Se is the key.

Frank is always on point.I am an INTJ married to an ISTJ. Frank nailed the greatest challenge in our relationship. I can make a simple statement like "I wonder where that road goes" and he'll launch into a story that goes on for half an hour that might tell me the history of the area, how it relates to another area he's visited, a good time he had as a kid in that area, then maybe swing back to talk about how traffic congestion is so much worse than it used to be, and on and on in excruciating details and with sub-segues without ever addressing my original statement. That's pretty much our life. I have mastered tuning him out and just letting him ramble on while I think about something else and then when he exhausts himself I'll say "so the road goes where?" He also is a catastrophic thinker because he has cataloged in excruciating detail all events that had even a hint of a negative outcome and will stress over doing ANYTHING that might lead to a similar negative outcome. During quarantine I bought a pair of noise canceling headphones because I couldn't take listening to him detail what he was sure would end life as we know it! I love the man with all of my heart, but I can't count the number of times I've said "can you bullet point that for me?" or "Bottom line that for me." :-)

This is me and my sister. I'm an INFP, she's an ISTJ. If I ask her something like "What's up?" or "What are you doing?", she'll launch into a twenty-minute presentation of every school, work, and life-related task she has to complete that day, or even for the whole week. She'll run through all the specific assignments she's completed for the day and everything she has left and how long it'll take and what it'll require, all the while very serious, with total 100% focus, gesticulating with her hands. I've learned how to nod along, ask polite questions here and there, and feign interest while zoning out and watching the funny, energetic way she waves her arms around when she's determined about something.
Then sometimes, when I get bored, I'll poke her in the belly or the leg or something to see if she'll notice, but she's so focused on her spiel she just keeps talking and talking. Once I walked up behind her and put a slice of cheese on her head and she didn't notice. When she was done talking about five minutes later, she sat down, it fell off, and she stared at it in shock, then busted out laughing at her own obliviousness. Another time I took off my pants and did a funny dance through the room next to her (we used to share a bedroom) and she kept eye contact with me and didn't notice for at least thirty seconds. I love her.

As an INTJ, thank you, I really appreciate it. Personally I have an INFP friend and she is the best friend I've ever had (I didn't have many friends in my life, only few, but she's still the best). We argue a lot sometimes, because I just don't understand feelings and emotions in general that much and I care about efficiency, organizing, my future plans and I just live in my own world in my head and I create plans and backup plans for almost everything all day long. So I hear a lot from other friends and my parents that I'm like a robot in human form and I should more feel things and express my feelings, so that it's for example visible, that I enjoy my birthday party, I'm happy from a gift someone gave me, or that I truly like my friends etc. So I have a problem with that. I have feelings, but I just don't really express them at all and they're not that strong. I never let my feelings get in my way in doing something and especially if it's school or my future plans. So yeah... But my INFP friend is the only one that truly knows what I feel inside, even when I don't express it and she knows alomst everything about me, to the point, where no one knows me better than her. She likes me for who I truly am and I like her for who she really is. She knows that I have problem with expressing my feelings, so she's helping me to be more open and to know how to express my feelings. We tease each other a lot and sometimes she even persuades me to go out to some small trip together and have fun. And I actually really like it. In our frinedship, we say we're like this - She (INFP) is the funny, "heart oriented", irresponsible, spontanious and kind dreamer, and I (INTJ) am that really honest, smart, responsible and robot-like visionare with a plan for everything. I really admire INFPs how you can really feel and express feelings on another level unlike most of us INTJs and you just go and mosty do something, because you feel like it and you're driven by your heart. I, as an INTJ, can't do that even if I want to. I tried to do that many times, but I always end up terribly anxious that I don't have a plan and a backup plan, it doesn't make sense, why would I do that, I need a logic reason to do that, I can't do that if it's just because I feel like it. I need to have everything organized and planned. And if I don't do that, I'm not confident enough, I'm really anxious that I can't predict what will happen etc. Sooo.. that's what I wanted to say. And I'm sorry for this really long comment. I just want to say that I adore INFPs. I knew some of them when I was younger, and there's just something that I really like about them. And they are all really kind and really passionate. All of them procrastinate a loooot, but sometimes I find it really cute, especially their reactions. And tbh, I really like to test everyone around me, and INFPs reactions are one of my favourites. And I think that if you want an INTJ friend, it takes a lot of time at first to even get to us and get our attention and you must understand that our priorities are most of the time way more different, but when you get really close to an INTJ, many of us will eventually open up and if we find a really good friend that we even open up to, most of us won't let go of that friend. And then you will be the only one that sees our "softer" side. 💫
(I hope I didn't offend anyone who read this, and if I did, then I will gladly try to explain. This is based on my own experience with INFPs and me and my few fellows INTJs. Thanks for reading of what I had to say and sorry if there are some gramatical mistakes, English isn't my first language.)

I am so glad you found a friend who understands you so well, it's really hard to find a friend who genuinely cares about you and I hope you treasure her.
And if I am being honest with you, INTJ's are usually the people I always end up getting attracted to. My best friend is an INTJ and she is the most genuine, smart, cute, and adorably intelligent person I know. We are different in the way we present ourselves. Like you metioned about yourself and your friend, I am more feeling oriented and she is more logic oriented but our conversations can become so aligned and interesting that sometimes the teacher has to quite us down in class for talking too loud even though I am quite reserved most of the time (lol). The only time I get out of my shell is when I am with her. There is something about INTJ's that just attracts me to them. Maybe it's there smart and cold outer demeanor but soft and squishy center or the fact that INTJ's are so genuine with there actions and words that I know I want to be close with them. One thing we may share (correct me if I am wrong) is the fact that we both are misunderstood, both in different ways. INTJs are misunderstood as being cold and emotionless and we INFPs get labeled as sensitive or airheaded, and I think because of this we come to find a common ground within each other where we both have a need for being understood. My INTJ friend is very organized and has everything planned just like you told about yourself, and honestly it's something I admire and am jealous of. I can never bring myself to stay organized or do something without ya know....Procastinating! I always end up doing things last minute. She always does things on time, even before hand. Her ideas for class projects are always so different and unique (which we INFPs love!). One thing about my friend is that she has a way of speaking and expressing herself that others don't understand, at all. Even the teachers don't get what she is saying at times. And sometimes it makes me feel so happy that I can be someone who understands her words and actions when others feel weirded out and act ignorant. She is very special to me and we are very very close. And every single INTJ that I have met have given me the same feeling, a feeling of -having them in my life will be super amazing- Once I get past your shell that is! I hope every INTJ out there knows my appreciation for them :)
You guys make me feel better about myself and I hope we INFPs can also do something for you guys uwu

It's really nice when somone writes so long messages like me and is capable to have some deeper conversations than just that classic small talk. I agree with all you said for 100%! I'm really glad to hear from you about your friendship and I see that you two are just like me and my INFP best friend. We have it just like you between us and it makes us really happy that we have this level connection. I really hope that those our friendships will last forever for both of us. And you really got a point in the fact that our types are both misunderstood a loooot. And it's just like you said. About INFPs most people think that they're even "crybabies" and INTJs don't have emotions. INFPs I know show their feelings a lot and are driven by their heart more, but that doesn't mean they're "crybabies". I think that this stereotype is based on your passion and just showing off your emotions even in some situations when others wouldn't, but they can feel the same, but they just won't epress it and then say that those who express it is a crybaby. From my point of wiew, everyone has emotions and feelings. But feeler types can like feel it more intensive. Or not like more intensive, but I think it's more about paying attention to them. Thinker types don't really pay attention to it, bcs they think that mostly emotions and feelings aren't valuable, they are useless and they just get in the way while working/doing school and other important things. So I think those stereotypes about feeler types were made by thinker types, bcs thinkers just have a problem seeing emotions as something important and most likely even valuable and it seems to them that feelings and emotions make people weeker, because people driven mostly by emotions can do choices based on how they feel and it's sometimes not the most efficient and logical way to do it. And this is something that makes most of the thinkers really confused and being like "Why would he/she do that? It's so irrational and it doesn't make any sense. It's just so random, people can't make choices based on how they feel, bcs it might affect their work and production and make them do something they wouldn't do, if they were more objective..." etc. And on the other hand, feeler types made stereotypes about thinker types, because they don't understand why would someone try to "get rid of" or "bury" their emotions and feelings and just don't pay artention to them. They on the other hand thinks that emotions are really strong and most of feelers cherish them. And I think that our types (INFP and INTJ) are misunderstood a lot because of those things and stereotypes in combination with our other functions. For example we are both intuitive and introverted types, so we are most of the time in our heads and often dreaming. And we are introverts, so people understand us even less, because we don't really let them into our little worlds inside of our head until we get really comfortable around them and we become close enough to show them more of us. ❤
So that's what I think and it doesn't mean that I say every feeler and every thinker are exactly like this. Everyone is different of course, but this is more like for the bigger picture and just my opinion and experiences.

Right? I cannot get my mind together when someone orders me around randomly. I just freeze and my brain gets scattered and as a result you get a flustered INFP trying their best to act according to the instructions while being extremely slow because they are trying to make sense of what is happening/what is being screamed at them. I need the aim and name of the task to be given prior and just be left alone to get the job done, not being constantly looked at and given instructions for every single step, it just drives me crazy.

Indeed everything here is accurate 😂 me and my brother are INFP while my parents are ISFJ and ESFJ. When I talk about theories with my brother my parents just look at us like we are wasting time on useless things, and they are also very organized and plan things ahead, while I just improvise things as I go. I totally admire how much they are organized and how they always get things done 😊 I wanted to be more active like them and less of a procrastination daydream machine hahah. As an ISTJ who spoke to an INTJ for a few years. It was quite a lot of (frustrating) fun. We'd both be hard set in our ways and debate for hours over things, challenging each others thinking.
At times it would be very frustrating especially when it came to a clash of values over important things to each of us. Though what frustrated me about that person, is also what I'd admire, outside of the heat of the moment.

entj here - i agree, just as a note, the feeling stuff is...uncomfortable, but also an important part of my thought process especially because it's difficult to me. letting myself feel and direct negative emotions into good ones takes a lot of energy, but i realized i needed to do it to make better decisions that go along with my values and honest internal processing of events...
this aside, i've always valued emotion in my decision making, but i'd NEVER let them get in the way of a...better, long term decision that will not just benefit me in the present moment with my current emotions, but the future me with a better integrated prospect of things and the general scenario.
for this reason, decision making when emotions are involved require some extra time to think and evaluate, letting myself feel until i feel "in a more neutral place" ? to say it in a way, then evaluate pros and cons and ideally make my decisions match my honest heart desires. But if that option seems unhealthy or damaging, i 100% disregard my feelings like its nothing, feelings can be a great guide, but sometimes just old patterns and noise.
to me, feeler types are admirable and intelligent asf but they also come off as...often not well regulated, many times manipulative and unreliable....so it's harder for me to judge or understand them. i'm very empathetic but i base my decisions on principles, morals that i stick to, more than if i feel bad that day and would rather be cruel or selfish.
so, its a -depends on the person and situation- thing. just wanted to comment this in case someone reasonates or has a different view on it
