@@kaydincathey I dated an INTJ and a lot of my female friends are INTJs. Let me tell you. The girls are SO good at pretending to be extroverted. They aren't, and they don't like to be, but they can fake like nobody's business.
The INFP one is SO accurate. The worst thing is that when I'm the one getting ghosted, I get all anxious and worried, making up scenarios in my head explaining why someone ghosted me lol.
Well, for me, I will then get anxious when I have to explain why I disappeared and feel like my excuses are inadequate.

That is why i have the read feature on WhatsApp turned off

If you have an iPhone you can go to settings and under messages there’s an option to turn the read feature off.

Fr I watch k/c/j/tdramas, Netflix series, movies, anime, reality shows, vlogs. I read books, manhwas, manhuas, manga. I listen to music, podcast. I play pubg, free fire. All this on a daily basis and stuff and yet I get good grades. I mean I got an exam tomorrow yet here I am watching this with equations in my head. Maybe it's bcz intps are super curious. I thought it was normal until ppl pointed it out and I'm secretly enjoying the admiration lol.

ENFP here, I have literally been looking into getting tested to see if I have ADHD. I talked to my friends and family about it, most people thought I had already been diagnosed.
How did you bring it up with your friends? I’m considering asking them casual to see, but don’t know how to ask about it. Like do I just go “Yo, do I seem like someone that has ADHD?” 🤔
@@lettucesalad716 howdy, I first picked the person I deemed most open to the conversation. I also didn't just have a convo about it to start with, I used it more as a topic I casually brought up. I wanted to not only ease myself into exploring that topic but also my friends and family. I also wanted to spare my mums feelings as I didn't want her to feel guilty for having not noticed it when I was little.
I started talking about depression and adhd in general, mentioning that I just found out the depression can be a symptom not just a disorder on its own. I also talked about how there is comorbidity between adhd and depression.
I realise that talking openly about depression is a hard convo on its own but its something i worked on feeling comfortable talking to people about for a while so it was easier (not easy) for me to start that way.
For other people I mentioned my forgetfulness and hyperfocus and how I had always thought it was just my personality. That I had never realised those were symptoms of ADHD. I never mentioned at first that I had thoughts that I might have it. I just kind of planted the idea to gauge their reaction and see if they would be open to a full conversation at a later time about it and to see if I felt comfortable approaching that with them as well.
I also started with talking about the stereotypes of adhd that I had and how I had recently found out that what I had thought was adhd was actually ADD and these misconceptions are often the cause of late diagnoses for people, specially women (yes i know there are a bunch of reasons why woman do not get diagnosed properly just mentioning what I said)
For context, Im a 29yr old mixed race woman and when I had thought about adhd I had only ever pictured a white male child who is running around screaming because at school there was a little boy with adhd who acted like that. I didn't really have a clue what adhd actually was so he was my only example I based things off of.
A little more context, I never really struggled in school so no teacher would have flagged me, don't get me wrong I got into trouble cus I forgot to do assignments and homework but I always managed to pass despite my forgetfullness/general chaotic nature.
If its easier, try make a list of the symptoms you think you have. Circle the ones you think you can talk about the most easily. Think of examples from your life that can illustrate what you have circled. Pick a couple people from your life that may be the most open to chatting about mental illness or exploring harder topics (id suggest a fellow enfp if you have one), possibly picking people who have been there when you have displayed one of the symptoms that you have circled may be a good choice too.
Sorry about the novel, I thought it best that I just give you a thorough explanation rather the bullet points so you can better see my process and potentially adapt it for your way of conversing/thinking.

@@lettucesalad716 depending on the persons reaction and how what they said/ how what they said made me feel I would bring up that I think I might have adhd and that it may be something that I start seeing a doctor to help figure out if I do have it.

As an INFJ, I honestly have no idea what I even want. Life is just meaningless.
Edit: lol so turns out I was probably feeling that way cause of depression. Didn't know I was depressed at the time but now I'm completely fine. Also, I may have been mistyped cause I think I'm more of an INTJ. Anyway, my opinions have changed and now I have suddenly gotten kind of a very energetic and optimistic attitude towards life and I want to explore different things, have wonderful experiences and enjoy life to its fullest. I used to hate the phrases "the destination doesn't matter, the journey does" and all cause I used to think that what's the point of doing anything when you're gonna die at the end and lose everything one day but now I do agree that life is a journey that is meant to be enjoyed. Death comes to everyone, but those who make their lives memorable and make the world a better place to live in are always remembered and looked up to. If you feel like nothing interests you anymore, try meditation (guided meditation or something with positive affirmations preferably), make a list of things you're grateful for (this may sound childish or stupid at first cause that's what I thought too but I did it and it helped), treat yourself the way you would treat others (show compassion towards yourself, compliment yourself). Try to be happy. Even if you hate yourself or think that you don't deserve it, just try it for once and believe me after you're okay you would realise that you didn't deserve that hell after all and that you should have tried earlier. Personally, I hated myself so much I didn't even want to be happy and thought that I deserved to be depressed but now that I'm over it I realise that I'm not as bad as I thought myself to be. If I had found someone to explain to me that I'm worthy of happiness earlier I would have escaped from this darkness way sooner. So yeah, thought of writing this for anyone who feels the same.

Everytime ppl ask me what do i wan, it is just so hard to answer.. like for example colleagues ask what kind of food do i wan to eat during the celebration in the office..... everyone knew what to write but i just have no idea 🤣 i wrote 1. food 2. food 3. food and they got rejected...
As an INFP, I sometimes don’t like to respond or send things because sometimes they reply back right away and I don’t want to have a convo because I’d rather do something else but it’s too anxiety inducing to tell them that we could talk later.

Fellow INTP. I do also have a problem with laziness, but what aggravates it is having my household chores taking up all the little energy I have that I would use to write my novel, learn Norwegian, digitalize my drawings and convert obscure black metal songs to chiptune.

It’s crazy. As an infj, I made myself to want what other people wanted, so much so that until something drastic happened and I was unable to attain what I thought I wanted, I sort of remembered what I actually wanted before all of my infj trauma.

As an INTJ who has been given a very innocent looking face it doesn't happen much to me but when I do get lost in thought people think I'm mad or judging them. Even my little brother thinks I like to drink bleach, Idk how that came to be but yeah.

This is why I have one specific playlist in my phone of “songs I like to sing”… because when people find out I can sing (not because I advertise that because I dislike the spotlight).. they ask me to sing something and I’ve been singing my entire life and suddenly forget that all music exists the moment they ask… I have to keep things around like this!

P.s sometimes it's not about you it's about ourselves, we cut connection to deal our own shit and when we're done we open the door to world again
this is so true. also times when we type our honest reply just to realise at the end that we accidentally wrote a long essay instead of a simple text. so we tried to simplify it and make it short but our ideas and thoughts can't be expressed without all the explanations then we just gave up and not reply at all.

I don't even get messages. Every single person that try to socialize with me (since i have no friend and you probably know how 'socialization' work), finds me boring and just leave me there. But to be honest it's ok I like being alone, I can't keep up a conversation for more than 5 minutes and it becoms awkward easily when you are around me
@@toomuch5484 Yes. My texts are ridiculously long… and often the other person replies back with short texts. It’s come to the point I have to draft and edit on my cell’s notepad (so I don’t accidentally hit send) before I cut/paste to text. It’s a very long process. Pathetic, I know.
Well said. I wish others could see our overthinking. I’ll spend the better part of the day (or days) thinking about that one text and trying to get the mental energy to reply. We’re not jerks who are ignoring them, it’s an “all consuming” ordeal thinking about what to say.

Well, for starters a fair, sustainable life for me and everyone. The biggest problems being solved such as a save environment, true equality, acknowledgement of mental health. And personally, to live in the countryside surrounded by flower fields and forest in my little home with an art studio. Sounds unrealistic but it's what I want. OH and a dog and a cat
Edit: Finally people who don't put it down, whenever I do say what I want I receive backlash for immaturity or for being a lazy person or more. Then people wonder why I'm so cautious about saying what I want to say. Hopefully I'll be able to fulfill this in some way, and I hope you all too

I program games for fun, and I have a whole developer team I started. But after about a month or two of programming and organizing, I get super drained, and I just leave with no explanation. Everyone who hasn’t been on the team very long absolutely flips out and is like, “WHERE DID HE GO, WHY ISN’T HE RESPONDING” and the others who have been with me for years are like, “oh he just went into hibernation. It’s normal.” I always come back after like 6 months to a year and pretend like nothing happened.
Wow the INTP one that has me laughing. We do work we just like wondering around we might procrastinate but we always get it done in the end. (Just make sure we don’t have to talk to anyone then we’ll actually get work done)

@@laya1077_ Nah.. I think I just find the right groups. I've had some people be pretty crummy to me in the past, too. Another comment under here I'd made (then deleted, being an over-thinking ambivert-) said that the people from this class I mentioned hardly talk to me anymore. Not because we don't like each other.. more because we just don't hang out. I remind myself that they're just busy and we don't do things together and that's why we don't talk..
It's like people are nice when I'm around, and we become friends to a certain level.. but I don't think anyone ever really knows me for who I am inside, or that they care about these relationships as much as I do. So I just have to accept that and be happy with the days I've had, the friends I've made and the ones I've still got.
Sometimes it makes me a little sad, or frustrated, thinking about where things are now.
But I still have to smile when I think about that day when a class-member decided to say nice things about me instead of dissing, and everyone went with it.

It's always a good idea to check in with yourself to figure out if that's what's going on. If your intuition tells you someone is making unreasonable demands on you, take a closer look at why you feel that way.
