As an introvert I don't even try to raise my hand for an answer even if I know the correct answer
Yes, and then you have to listen to the teacher saying: so nobody knows the answer? I can't believe it. Ehh 😓
So true
Not unless participation is apart of the grade but even then I won’t raise my hand often but enough to get a 100
I would raise my hand get the class to move along if no one else had the answer
@@supersillyme Ehh, an English teacher once gave me a D ( 5) for participation because I only raised my hand once in total. She said "Oh, so you can raise your hand", never did it again. I still achieved a good final grade
As an introvert, it's nice having extroverts around because they can take most of the attention off of you
Me as an ENFJ: “I’m so sorry I kept volunteering. I never gave you the chance.”
Introverts: “No seriously, please don’t stop.”
Me: “OK!!!!!!”
@@andianderson3017 As an introvert, I applaud your constant volunteering

Yes sir
You’re welcome! It’s incredibly compulsive!@@blue-variantX
As an introvert, one thing I’ve always appreciated about having an extrovert around whether it was in class or in any social group, having that one extrovert would really lighten the mood and make social situations a bit more bearable, especially if the setting consisted of mostly introverts. Extroverts can usually break the ice and carry the atmosphere, and not make things feel so awkward.
Exactly why I get so jealous of their confidence sometimes
Thats right. I have a friend who is much more confident about social situations and also I think much more extroverted than me and it really helps to have her around :)
as an introvert, so true.
Introvert here. I married an extrovert, which is perfect. Once you have your extrovert trained to recognize the "I am turtling right now" look, they will cheerfully manage all interactions with random people for you!
I'd say I'm closer to an ambivert, but one time in one of my first classes of the year we did a circle to talk about ourselves and also just answer questions to do with our topic. One of the questions was 'What kind of Classroom Environment do you want?'. Nobody answered any of the questions without being randomly picked, until I said sarcastically "I would love a class where everyone is free to express themselves and nobody is scared to speak my mind."
Hearing the words "group project" is like sandpaper on my soul.
Half the reason I decided not to get a master’s degree was fear of more group projects. The other half was the student loans. 🤣
I’m currently working on my masters. I continue to hate group projects… I made the wrong decision.
I remember wanting to be an animator once. changed my mind when I learnt that most amazing quality animations are done by teams.
To be fair I, as an extrovert, don't like them either. Because there's always someone trying to push a really dumb idea and someone else literally not doing anything at all and it ticks me off (I'm an ENTP btw.). Now working in pairs, on the other hand, is great, because you just have to agree with one person and if it's an introvert he or she wants to do the work and let me do the presenting, and if it's another extrovert who wants to do the presenting then I can do the project however I want and it's just so much less of a hassle, lol
When you have no friends in class and wait til everybody has find their people and you can be thrown into some random group by the teacher…worst feeling tbh😭

2:16 “Stop invading my privacy “ 😂 Truth
It is so accurate haha, a guy asked for my number once and I asked 'why?' and he said 'so we can chat' and I said 'but we have nothing to chat about' and walked away and according to my extraverted sibling that was rude, but it made perfect sense to me 😂
@@somtounigwe8160 It does make sense. What do you have to chat about with some random guy?
Totally xD
@@ShaSha-zq3my Exactly! Glad someone else gets it.
When I was in the eighth grade, there was this dude named Brandon who constantly tried to talk to me and asked me the most embarrassing things, like if I wanted to be his dance partner during the horrifying dance unit in gym class (the bane of all young introverts, I presume). I thought he was a bully and was trying to make my life miserable, and therefore I hated him. Then one day, when we were at our lockers (his locker was like two down from mine), he asked me, "Why do you get so embarrassed by everything?" I retorted, "Why do you keep embarrassing me?" He looked genuinely surprised and actually a little hurt. He said, "I just want to help you not get embarrassed so easily." I coldly told him, "If you want to help me, then leave me alone."
As an adult, I feel bad for the poor guy. In hindsight, he clearly actually cared about me. And so, while he's probably long forgotten all about me, I never will forget him.
When you're the introvert student with an extrovert teacher who forces you to talk because it's "good for you" but it actually makes you dread going to their class 🥲
😂😂😂😂😂
😂 happened to me, but in the opposite, the introverted teacher told me to stop talking and interrupting the classroom dialogue with 🎉 facts! that was to me, ESFP and ESTP combined personality type 😅

Hello! Fellow ambivert here! :D
the truest line of this sketch: "Why would you need to know that information?"...that is classic me.
that's rude
@@JessicaRose-qf5hy "rude" is in the eye of the beholder. to me, its logical. however, i assure you, i am not trying to be rude in entering this comment.
hello fellow English nerd :) sorry, I just really admire good English :)@@xRadio2006x
what's your mbti?@@xRadio2006x
Jessica, us introverts really aren’t trying to be rude. It’s one of three things.:1. It’s after class, work, etc. and we are done for the day. We cannot handle hanging out anymore today. In fact, some of us need a nap. 2. We don’t pick up on social cues as well. 3. Anything you ask us about might be considered personal information. We don’t always like to answer personal information or extra information up front, especially if it’s information we’re scared puts us in a bad light. For example, “What do you do for a living?” Instead of just answering the question, we feel we have to give an essay answer that we’re not ready to give. “Well...I majored in blank, but then blank happened, so then I did blank for a while. I worked my way up the ladder, but then blank happened. 2 minutes later...”So now I have a cat named blank. I currently work at blank, but I’m trying to work my way up to blank.” It’s a constant battle not to answer questions in this way.
INTJ here. The secret to surviving group projects is telling them up front, "Let me do all of it; I guarantee you'll get an A." Everyone wins.
Unless there's an egomaniacal extrovert who has to control everything. My daughter just ran into this problem recently.
As long as I didn't have to do any of the presentation part, I would have no problem doing more project work
@@cassiebennet4262what
infp here. i cant say that because while the worst part is presenting, I'm too lazy to actually work on the full project. plus the pressure is too much
Proven method of success.
Sometimes I wish I was an extrovert because they make people around them feel so comfortable. Like I am so thankful for all the extroverts that just keep talking non-stop so I don’t have to lmao, idk how they ALWAYS know what to say. Its some sort of super power or something.
Super Power is the perfect way to explain it. I tried studying extroverts about starting conversations... Never could figure it out, so must be 🦸🏼🦹♀️🦹♂️🦹
“They call him Mr. Frank James.” I still want to hear the rest of that song.
There’s another line to the song that says strolling down the Internet boulevard playing all those CZcams games but we have never heard any other words from this wonderful song :(

“Every thought has left my mind”
“Okay. Start with your name”
“When I said every thought-”

As an introvert I always raise my hand to answer when I'm sure of the answer, that way the teacher is unlikely to call on me when I don't.
The teacher : Randomly calling the name.
Me : Panic, short-circuiting my own brain and forget the answer.
“Say something about yourself “ strikes fear in every introvert in class.😂
"Can't wait for summer break so I can bask in the glow of my computer screen." Way too relatable 😭😂
this is so accurate 😭😭
Im the introvert, except I would just sit in the back corner of the class and read. Very relatable tho ❤
I like sitting in front cause it's close to the teacher so and the classmates won't talk to me much. the back of the class is... chaos.
Love this. I'm an introvert (ISFP) and the hand rasing thing is so accurate. I also tend to be less active in group conversations in person since I need time to think about what I want to say. Oh and the last line! Instead of going off to a vacation right away, I really would rather spend at least a week doing nothing.
I relate to all of that
-Another ISFP
My teacher always got so frustrated on how barely I talked during discussions. I had a whole essay in my mind but didn't see the need to express it or the opportunity. But when i did talk the whole class went silent trying to listen to what i say. I was nicknamed 'Grandpa' because of my deeply philosophical ideas. (while being the youngest student)
I'm an Infp and my best friend in college is an enfp, I really appreciate her extroverted personality, she literally talks non stop and every one's attention is always on her, so I can live in peace, and get an illusion of socializing as well,😅
Maybe that is why my INFP daughter loves her ENFP brother the best!
The teacher not noticing the introvert being absent is so relatable
Whenever a teacher said: "To get A+ you'll need to participate during my lessons... I'll take note of the names 👀", my mind always reached with absolute certainty the same conclusion... that I didn't need an A+ in that course. 😂
The chat one is so accurate for an introvert like me 😂
As an introvert, when i was in school i would sweat the moment i got called on... and my voice would shake. Shoot, I'm sweating now just remembering!
As an ambivert, I can relate to both introverts and extroverts.
When I was at school, I discovered the secret to a successful introvert lesson. Don't sit at the back. That's where the teacher's attention is because the lazy and the badly behaved sit there. Sit as close to the teacher as possible so they look straight over your head.
I also figured this out... Then I can forget how many people are behind me...
I always sat at the front. I loved when the teachers made eye contact with me and my friends because we were the only ones listening and paying attention 🥺
I am an INFJ and I want to thank you Frank for helping me to understand myself. Your videos about MBTI made me understand myself and also lifted my spirits and got me out of depression. Good luck with your life and keep up the great videos. Greetings from Ukraine!

Everyone always talks about school so fondly I couldn't WAIT to get out!! As an introvert it was TORTURE I have taught myself so much more than I ever learned in school.
I suspect that there are hordes of people worldwide in the same position.
Oh my gosh, the sound of the phone going off in the group chat was so annoying, and I’m not even a student! 😜 I loved the teacher's squint of doubt when Brine(?) said he wasn't in class. Hilarious sketch, Frank! 😂 Introvert students, I feel your pain.💜

Recently I said: fun fact about me is I don't like to talk about myself and everyone at the training laughed. I guess I'm the funny introvert, yo :)
The group chat for group projects was so realistic. I had to figure out how to turn off specific notifications so my phone wouldn’t go off every two seconds.
2:11 lmao i really felt that. i really hate when people start conversations with questions relating to me on subjects i don't care about. i would honestly rather listen to you start rattling off about your favorite hobby than trying to force a conversation out of me
I'm an extroverted introvert, so I loved college. I was very active in class, and went the extra mile for assignments - especially projects where I had to present in front of the class. I really enjoy public speaking. Lol

Lol deodorant check 😂😂😂. That introvert is so brave. I was too much of a coward to raise my hand when I knew the answer. Much like the introvert in the video, always second guessing myself. Thanks for the fun and accurate videos FJ, marvelous work!
INFJ here: I liked group projects, but sadly there was no extrovert that would like presentig the project, so that I had to speak infront of the class. I hated it. 🤥 But I once had a biology teacher for three years (probably ExTJ) who did a learning check at the beginning of every lesson. He ran his finger along the class book and selected one that had to summarize the last lesson. I don't know if I was just lucky, he overlooked me, or he just liked that I never contradicted and was good at sports. (He was also a gym teacher and liked it when students there were ambitious. And I love sports!). I think he liked me because not only am I an introvert, but I also stutter a bit. Teachers in particular always showed a lot of patience there. Classmates not really. The good old time. Gosh! It's been almost 20 years since I graduated from school. Now I feel old! 🤣
Hugs to all Introverts (and Extroverts too - we need you guys! )
Introvert needs to put his phone on do not disturb. - infj
"Stop invading my privacy"
Yeah, I don't like anybody knowing my business. 😊
Introvert here. The reasons why I don't raise my hand during lessons are: fear of saying something wrong(if I do I will pass all the lesson thinking about that mistake) and don't want to draw much attention on myself (i'm not used to more than 2 people watching me when I talk, beacause even if they're 3 I start to panic. But in presentations I can bcs there i'm prepared)
Being around Extroverts is better for me, why? Well, one it gets attention off of me, but also:
Me, introvert, with my introvert friend: *sitting there, no conversation being made, complete silence*
Me with extrovert friends: *full on conversational mode, having fun, WE ARE GETTING LOUD*
When I have time to present myself, I always write down what I'm going to say, because very probably I'll forget it. Then there's me looking back at my notebook to say what I wrote.
I love your sketches. They're so humorous. ❤
I laughed way too hard at the tre bien part ❤
The introverted guy being so firm with the cute girl about his privacy really shows that introverted doesn’t mean shy. :-)
Also, you look ridiculously good in that Auburn wig. If you don’t mind me saying :-)

I become the extrovert when it is group project time 💀 (always having to take the lead or else no one talks 😭)
How did you get my introverted memories
Hi Frank!! I want to let you know how valuable your early videos are for me. I watched them all for the first time when pandemic started and since then I've had seconds of them all. Lately life's making me feel like I need some of your wisdom again and I've been rewatching some of them. I know you probably cringe at them now (we're all our own harshest critic) but know for me, and many other people I'm sure, they're a treasure!! One of my all time favorites "Marooned Mid-Conversation", I just rewatched it and I realized how much the advice you give there has helped me! It definitely still happens to me but less and I don't feel as bad as I used to when I first encounter that video and related to it. Anyway. Thanks for what you do Frank!
Extroverts are great at making public events less panic inducing because they can take the attention off me. However, it’s always weird when they expect me to start or continue a conversation with them one on one. It’s like, “do I look like I have something to say right now? I’m just trying to stay awake during this class”😂
I’m an introvert (ISTJ) but whenever they say we should introduce ourselves I always like to be first or second. I’m currently in online school (my 3rd year doing it) and I’ve been a loner for so long since there is no way for me to make friends even though I have always tried so I always try to share things about myself in class. Kind of unrelated but I’m also pretty good at talking to strangers like it’s pretty rare for me to be shy during small talk. Never really have related to introvert stereotypes 🫤 Great video as always tho! Super funny😂
POV: introverts before being adopted by an extrovert😂
This is so relatable. I remember coming to extra english class and the teacher asked me how was my week and what tests did I have. I completely forgot everything at that moment.. 😅

Introvert with anyone but friends, extrovert with friends
i absolutely despise these introductions, like everyone knows im in that one age range because im sitting in that exact grade, and why does everyone need my names if i dont talk to the others? the teacher has their list anyway, so the others can just wait till the teacher calls you out. and hobbies? like what should i even do besides thinking or doing stuff on the PC

OMG, introvert, so accurate 😂😂. Opposing to extroverts that are just annoying me with exactly the same things expressed in this video 😂. I get so irritated when someone put me in a chat group without even asking me and than all bunch of stupid infos and questions start to emerge. When ended, I immediately got out but people stayed in and started hanging out like they do not see each other at work enough! They even made some subgroups 🐺.
