@@WestCoastAce27 Until around the 80s, Rolex sold for a few hundred euros/pounds/dollars new. It's only quite recently that they've branded themselves as a premium watch, and while they're quite expensive, their entry level models are nowhere near the price of the big three. Patek Phillipe especially is in another league when it comes to the absolute premium. 8 of the 10 most expensive watches ever sold are PP, and 85 of the 114 watches sold for more than 1.5 million USD are PP. Rolex manages 2 and 17, respectively, despite being a far bigger brand name.

Roger Federer is the celebrity who received the most money from advertising contracts and brands (equal to the total amount of advertising money, of Messi + cr7 + Nerymar = 100M USD) according to Forbes 2020 with more than 100M USD.
Typically, Federer is the first ever global brand ambassador of Moet&Chandon (champagne) and also global brand ambassador of Rimowa (luxury luggage), these are two brands of the LVMH group from France.
Besides Federer is the global brand ambassador of Mercedes (German brand), he participated in the promotion S Class Benz. Federer is also the global brand ambassador of the leading pasta brand Barilla (Italian brand). Federer receives 30M USD annually (30M USD per year, 300M USD in total 10 years) from Asian clothing brand - Uniqlo for 10 consecutive years (2018-2028).
So there have been many articles saying that he is like a global citizen. Not only Swiss brands but many big brands in the world choose him over other popular names. Federer is always the one that brands use to show off extremely impressive and prominent advertising images in campaigns, there is even a section dedicated to Federer.

@@pabloski10k For Uniqlo, it’s not a sports performance brand, and is their motivation purely about brand exposure, or is it trying to expand its target market reach into sports-mad fans and over around the world with his lifestyle.
Federer is a tennis billionaire (only three or four athletes have ever been billionaires), and most of his income comes from sponsorships with brands. Therefore, what Uniqlo is aiming for is not only during the years when Federer plays on the courts but also to use Federer's image to bring Uniqlo further in the sports world. Especially Federer is a close friend of Vogue editor-in-chief - Anna Wintour, when he retires he will most likely join the fashion industry, he has attended shows of Louis Vuttion, Oscar de la Renta, ...Even after becoming the global ambassador of Moet&Chadon, he became friends with Bernard Arnault - the chairman and chief executive of LVMH Moët Hennessy - Louis Vuitton SE, the world's largest luxury goods company.

I would say Cartier is considered as a jewelry brand. Yes they do have a watch line, but i would say mostly people think of chains or earrings when they hear the name Cartier. The same goes for the luxury brand Chopard. Therefore the he is right about saying Rolex is the only watch brand on Forbes list. Rolex is only famous for watches. Cartier is famous for watches, but even more famous for expensive jewelry! What do you think? Best regards
