This is exactly what I needed today! I’m up and walking without my cast now but my calf is extremely tight. P E R F E C T! I’ve been on a strengthening program and while I’ve *hated* lunges, after about a year I am able to balance and feel assured. While not EXCITED when I see them coming😁 I am relishing the beginnings of competence and outright rejoicing that I feel the work where I’m supposed to feel it. This session is a gentle, perfectly paced testament to the clear value of strengthening and adds a “Yay!” that I find inspiring. Coming back for more while aging is a necessity. Thank you for feeding THAT aspect for us!

I've tried almost all of your chair exercises and I love them. This was the first stand-up one and there was one exercise that was a little tough on my knees but I didn't twist my feet so it worked out ok. I'll add this to my weekly routine and see how it goes. This was incredible. Thoroughly enjoyed it. I wish that it was longer. I felt it in my tush, my arms, and abs. I did your cardio and weights workout yesterday, so I was looking forward to something more gentle today. But it was a great workout. Tomorrow I'd my 2 year old workout, and his new one is holding him up like an airplane, with his arms up! I'm not sure if I could have managed it before I started working out with you, Lauren. 2. I don’t have any Pilates workouts with the bar, but I have a few with bands. One using a theraband and a few using a band that has 4 loops. Those may be easy to modify if you have a bar. Let me know if you need the links 😀
I love your work on mobility especially. I feel it's such an under-practiced field of exercise, considering how important it is to the human body esp as we age. Ballet type workouts are so great in this way too. Love it and thinking of adding on a hiit or the like. ;-)
