In my opinion, Aespa has always had their eyes on the prize, which is BLACKPINK! Because when they debuted everybody in K-pop, was trying to find the next BLACKPINK. they have never strayed away from this goal. Which, ultimately in my opinion made them the Thanos of fourth generation girl groups. They have been the most consistent of all of all of 4th gen. Where it is clear that others who started the race around the same time has fumbled up and tripped up and has missed multiple times.

@@belaytriks tbh I don't think that time ever existed, there were always scandals of idol exploitation and mistreatment from the start in 1st gen too. It's just baked in the system unfortunately, if you remember from the fiftyfifty situation companies wanted to use it to make idol contracts even stricter. Companies giving mental health breaks and hiatuses are also calculated business decisions that are good pr and building hype for their comeback for fans and strengthening their business relationship with the idol

I had higher expectations from yunjin due to the fact that she is the main vocal of her group. But after countless encores and her performance with MAX i was just dumbfounded. Because 4th gen has some really outstanding main vocals. Compared to them she falls short.
Le sserafim as a group is really good in dancing. But singing is still very important. And anytime someone points out her vocals, her fans start saying that she was an opera singer?! Bro she was never an opera singer. That infamous video of her was from a musical theatre.
Anyways,i really hope le sserafim will come back stronger with decent vocals.

  • @belaytriks

Wow! I catched it as live... 🎉🎉🎉
I am alarmed at the fast pace some lobbies are forcing their twisted desire that the world see children as small adults. I am not against child idols as soon as it is fun, safe and a learning experience that still allow them space for a normal live, development and education that means really spaced comebacks, a more friendly enviroment, a less toxic culture and a lot more freedom in the stage, music and schedule. If this is a game for them I am all for it, even if it is job as long as it requires only a couple of hours at day and it is safe I can be ok with it but, if it impies to take them away from their parents, their education, their development time and makes them work for even more time than most adults, then that is not for children, not even for full growth humans.
Love the tought put in reasoning behind the solo career of many idols, the music formulas and the teamwork, I am a lonner but I have always loved the frienships and teamwork portrayed by kpop groups and I hope that "sincere" approach could be encouraged more even among fans.
Finally, and tied with the unetical practices of huge companies. The sad case of SoMu's group is that the girls have talent, as most idols, but so manu of them are trow to the shark tank without being properly prepare. Most idols lack vocal and media training, a proper heath support, a formal education and the kind of support and guidance parents do. I actually became surprised when I started to watch a group that for the sake of no comparisons I will not name, and they were confronted by many issues than in most Hybe groups have ended in scandals and scorn from the members given the lack of a proper reaction given by them and this group have managed to handdle it with grace, talent and good humor making all that issues end as side notes and endering moments instead of scandals. Still, in SoMu's group the tragedy came by the fact this girls had have the resources from some time to take in their hands their own development but instead of that they have been playing the victim card and the indignation one instead of acting to improove. Their faces when they have to perform live tell us they know their limitations so, instead of spending 10 hours on the dance floor they can reduce it to eight and paid among all them a proper musical teather vocal coach that came to the company to train them as a group and individual all week around so they can start correcting and learning the proper skills. I do not like them, I might want to see SoMu burn, I might love to watch SoMu burn after what happened to Gfriend but I refuse to enjoy to see humans beings treated as disposable puppets for the pleasure and comfort of a bunch of greedy people.
I will take any day to keep "hating" SoMu as long as all the people there still have a job that allows them live good life instead to that company to really burn to ashes and I will take any day to this group to realy bloom in to success than having to be the punching bag of kpop comunity.
I am all for human beings but that does not exclude us from being them accountable for our own actions and I think that is the tragedy of this group, they have been unabble to hold themselves accountable about their true pottential, damn! I remember that Sakura had really her shinne vocals momments back there before Iz*One, I want her to have them now too, that is the company of Gfriend, I want the girls to show their backbone and rise to the level because the talent they have it.

I was really hit hard by the 1:35 mark because I’ve had this mindset, especially in these past weeks when aespa was caught up in their issues. As a fan, it makes me so angry. It’s true that we don’t want our idols to be caught in the middle. However, it’s important to understand that there are HYBE fanatics out there who use these issues to harm other idols due to their perceived superiority. That’s why I never attack any idols in particular, but instead, I criticize the company. I’m not saying this behavior isn’t toxic, but you can’t really blame fans like me when there are fans who choose to protect the company’s name rather than the idol’s welfare. Perhaps it’s my way of compensating for when I failed to do something to protect Sulli from constant attacks when SM failed to do so. I am for all Idols side not fandoms not company's name ~that's unless the idol is the problem tho.

If Yunjin doesn't get proper vocal training then she'll continue to regress. Same can be said for Chaewon. I know this contradictory to my opinions, they still have a chance to improve if Hybe gets serious and spend their money on getting proficient vocal coaches for all the members.

The fanwars one is so true. I find it so disappointing how a lot of BTS stans have become the most arrogant and unwelcoming people to the point where saying you don't like or listen to BTS, in their chronically online minds it translates to you hating them. You cant even criticise or talk about what you dont like in certain songs because that just means you think the group is talentless 🙄 I really miss the days when kpop was just treated like regular music

  • @TheRyno525
    @TheRyno525 Před měsícem +1

"Making a stand" requires a legitimate issue or a ongoing problem to stand against, there is no track record of wrong doing, no under age Idol has ever said they are or were mistreated, the only people that make the claim are entitled individuals that think they are right. They don't believe the child's parent's should decide what is best for their child, they say they are activists but they aren't, they have a authoritarian mindset along with entitlement issues. They are worse then the "Activest's" that are always crying about cultural appropriation gatekeeping for cultures that isn't even theirs to defend. You people need to sit down and do your activism when somebody actually ask's for the help, stop trying to control what other people do.

If this poor opinion held even a drop of water we wouldn't have child labor laws...
7-10 year old children were sent to work in places such as factories, where a lot of them lost limbs because the machines are incredibly unsafe or died in the large factory fires that often happened because what little safety protocols there were was being ignored..
Or even the kids that were sent to work in actual coal mines and were used to spot gas leaks... How did they do that? If the child died from inhaling gas = there's a gas leak. You think those children didn't ask for help because that's what they wanted to do? The adults around them abused and coerced them.
So no. "let people do what they want because they know best" doesn't work. Never forget the laws we have today are written in someone else's blood.
