I didn't know a single video that has mild opinions would make people unsubscribe. As much as I would like to go all out I would get in trouble with CZcams. However, when it comes on to sharing opinions there's also another reason why Ktubers hold back, it's because stans see anything negative as hateful and toxic and they will lose support and get hated on.
Dani is my bias but I remember being so annoyed by her careless comments. She's old enough to know when to keep her mouth shut. Literally, everyone on the entire stage's smile dropped.....
I’m lateee but I’m here to give my thoughts (kinda long)
1. HEAVY ON THIS. Like people were saying “but like it’s a ceo so why wouldn’t they give her appreciation. Like who were they suppose to thank?” As if she couldn’t say that she thanks her members and congratulate them for their hard work as a group. She didn’t need to talk about min heejin. CLOCK IT. imma speak on the cultural appropriation and the N word cus I’m black and I’m so done of non black kpop Stan’s talking about the “American way of thinking” whenever black folks clock situations we hear crap every time. It’s not American to tell ur idol who is using OUR CULTURE to stop saying the N word every business day. But yk it’s “keep kpop Korean” till kpop idols use our culture and appropriate and disrespectful us.
6. People talk about the trainee process but I feel more people even need to talk about the survival show too. Seeing stories from people who were on these survival shows like recently a member from girls planet spoke out on the fact they filmed for 30 hours for the final audition in the first ep. No wonder why some performances the idols looked tired when it was their turn. It’s ridiculous. Plus kpop is so messy cus imagine training for years, finally debuting, and someone you never even met say ur a bully and u get kicked out the group 💀 I would go crazy
10. I’m finally watching one fully for the first time. I’m watching iland2 and oh my god this is ghetto… Like the time between challenges is ridiculous. They have a whole day before a mid term test when they are expected to know the choreo fully and sing the song well. If not they get grilled.

this is the weirdest take ever - you are aware that every group needs to thank their ceo in every speech, if the roles were reversed and Eun Chae - or even worse illit/enhypen thanked bang pd, or again, even worse belift lab who made those crazy sexualising claims about new jeans in their fucked video, no one would have said anything. hybe had been ten times more direct to the actually nwjs members with their attacks than ador was to any hybe group, sure adore said some crazy shit - but nothing personal, also lessera is barley involved in this scandle at all...
@@Anonymous-jh9uy It was an entitled comment that showed her complete lack of consideration to Eunchae, Illit and every single group their beloved CEO dared to use to justify herself and to use as smoke courtain in order to make herself look innocent for her plotting to take ove NJ.
It has nothing to do with them, the idols, and for pure courtesy and professionality if you know your CEO just tried to bite the one that give you all the money to make your fancy career at the spend of the person next you and their company you avoid the subject. That is called courtesy.
New Jeans is the most problematic group in kpop. They legit defend Min Heejin who has explicit pictures of kids in her home. Min Heejin also namedropped BTS and Le Sserafim and made those groups get so much hate.

How the heck would she know that? Actually take time to think how info is being fed to the girls. Even their parents support MHJ. Naturally they not be fully aware of what’s happening. Regardless, she’s thanking her CEO as many groups do. It’s just courtesy. Had it been NMIXX thanking JYP no one would’ve batted an eye, so it should be the same for New Jeans regardless of the drama. This IS them being professional.
I agree wholeheartedly with number 3 and 4. I mean, I agree with all of them, but especially those two.
3. "American way of thinking"...good lord. This reminds me of that one Engene who was on a fancall with Jake and praised him for an "openminded, foreign way of thinking", which if you think about it is a backhanded compliment that takes shots at all of the members who aren't foreigners. Sure, I do think that the part of the world that you grew up in will affect the certain types of ideals that you hold, but common sense is universal guys. Thinking that things like KBS aren't toxic is just being ignorant. And nobody gets more pissy about cultural appropriation than white people. As someone who isn't in the groups affected by cultural appropriation, I can't speak on the topic, but since I'm white, I can 100% say that we should be supporting the opinions of the groups who are ACTUALLY AFFECTED by the issue, whether they care about it or not.
4. Stooping to Min Heejin's level was a really shitty move. Now everyone will only see them as being just as awful and toxic as Ador. End of discussion.
Also, speaking as an "older" Kpop fan (I'm 39 lol), I really appreciate you advocating for us! I don't take it personally that teenagers regard me as a dinosaur-- honestly, that makes me laugh-- but that extra two decades plus of experience gives me a deep appreciation for some of the more subtle references woven into Kpop.
Example: When "SLAY" dropped, I saw a GenZer online complaining that the "crazy sexy cool" line was stupid and cheesy, and meanwhile I was like, "omg except that it's a direct reference to one of the greatest R&B albums of all time..." 🥺

4. I agree that maybe the time and manners were wrong but BeLift did the right thing. Bullies deserve to be pointed and labeled for what they are: bullies. The more we do that, the safer we will be from them.

You and i have the same opinions , though with the thing on "American thinking" the thing with cultural appropriation is mostly a thing in America, like most of us of other countries love when people wear our culture like braids or clothes and stuff but I definitely agree with the rest .

I respect ur opinion on nayeon's stage presence. But with all due kindness, i disagree. I feel like she worked hard for this come back, especially on her dance. And for me personally i loved her stage presence and how she delivered the cute and cvnty vibe. It was different from POP in a good way
I agree that she worked hard for her comeback and can dance really well. She did amazing in her first solo. Her second solo based on the song choice required a lot of charisma and flair and unfortunately, Nayeon lacked those. If she had more with her face and give a little bit more energy then her performance would've top tier. No complaints about her vocals.

No you weren't hating. I completely understand. These days my body and brain get tired sometimes. In the past it was easy because I was free but now with all these responsibilities and school coming up with original opinions became really hard. I still try for you guys though.

I suppose, you didnt have time to watch the response of Belift lab, so I just checked it for you. Around min15, they compare different choreographies and say, that by that measure, every choreo would be a copy of something else. At min22:54 they say- we do not believe, that mhj copied anyone. Though its good to have opinions, its also good to check what do we base them on.
