    I think this whole thing is crazy and MHJ throwing in the Aespa comment just to make sure people are distracted from what she is doing was also just over the top for me. Because honestly let’s be real the crush Aespa comment was not that bad. When I heard BSH had said something about them people acted like her wished death on them. And then I found that that was all he said was to crush them. I mean what do we expect at the time Aespa were the top girl group and the main girl group to beat of course he wants the new group to do better. And if we are also being honest what do you guys think YG, and SM CEOs and employees chats say about BTS. We all know they were definitely not going “omg so happy for BTS getting nominated for a Grammy!” No the chats probably tearing them limb from limb. So honestly the whole crush Aespa thing does not seem that crazy to me.

    If you really cared about justice in the K-pop industry, you wouldn’t even support the debuts of minors in K-pop. You talk about the actions of this one woman, yet leave out the fact that many of these K-pop companies are even worse than her. The only difference is that they are able to sweep their abuse under the rug. I don’t stand with MHJ because I agree that some of her actions are questionable, but if we’re going to point fingers and call out people for getting away with things due to their power, you should also be calling out these companies for subjecting their artists to this type of mistreatment and never truly stepping in to protect them unless the company’s name, reputation, or finances are being impacted negatively as well.

      With the whole blame the company for debuting minor thing, I think we should actually blame the parents first. Who with a sane mind sends their kids to such toxic environment. Yeah companies are bad for debuting minors but if the parents don't allow it, those kids wouldn't be able to do it. I think we should shame those parents more. Just look at NJ members' parents, it seems like they don't even care about how toxic MHJ is for their daughters. I would never side with someone who insulted my child, do some really questionable stuff. Even the Cookie song incident is wild to me. How can those parents still trust that woman. Again, I think we should blame the parents more

  • @my_voice_in_the_wilderness

    Rosiary, you are becoming as bad as Kookielit. Your bias is just opposite Kookileit's bias wrt Hybe vs MHJ. As you've said in prior videos, people should get the facts first before speaking. MHJ won the injunction because she was legally in the right. You have to understand that the Hybe/MHJ dispute falls under contract law. In MHJ's contract with Hybe, it states that “HYBE must exercise its voting rights at ADOR’s shareholders’ meetings to maintain Min’s positions as CEO and inside director of ADOR for five years from the establishment of ADOR on Nov. 2, 2021.” To get around this contract clause, Hybe needs to show "just cause" --- for example, something that MHJ did that was illegal as CEO or an action that materially hurts the company. It is why Hybe made claims of embezzlement and 'breach of trust'. The court found that Hybe's claims, as presented, were not valid or provided insufficient evidence. MHJ's actions may have been disloyal, unethical, but they were not illegal. After all, any employee who searches for another job could be deemed "disloyal" to their company. But note, Hybe's actions are no more ethical than MHJ's. They are accusing MHJ of every possible crime that they can "produce" some evidence about. IMO, this is a battle between egotistical and greedy individuals on both sides. No angels here.
    And for Hybe to do what your suggesting (remove her "perks") would probably be illegal. You may not like her but MHJ has earned her "perks" because they are explicitly stated in her contract. The court said Hybe can break the contract but would need to pay MHJ 20 billion won in compensation. Hybe could end everything today by doing so but they don't want to because they are also "greedy". Additionally if Hybe breaks the contract, I expect the contracted restrictions (for example, non-compete) on MHJ would be null and void.
    MHJ is the CEO of Ador. Hybe does not own Ador; they are the majority shareholders of Ador. MHJ gets to run Ador they way she wants pretty much because she is its CEO. Things could change since Hybe has requested further police investigations. In other words, Hybe is using their power in the Korean system to try and find a way to force her out via some criminal charge.

    • @Rosiary
      @Rosiary  Před 23 dny +13

      MHJ has yet to show any evidence against the claims made by Hybe. The thing is the court didn't even deny Hybe claims it's just that “It may be an act of betrayal towards HYBE, but it is difficult to say that it is an act of breach of trust towards ADOR”.

    • @edwinaquartey2231

    • @my_voice_in_the_wilderness
      @my_voice_in_the_wilderness Před 22 dny +2

      @@Rosiary The law (Korean & US) does not work that way. MHJ does not need to prove the claims made by Hybe are inaccurate; Hybe needs to prove that their claims were valid. In the eyes of the court, they failed to do this. Hybe charged her with embezzlement and failed to show sufficient evidence of this. They charged her with "breach of trust" and they failed to show that it extended to the level required by Korean law. As you say, she was disloyal to Hybe but not to the point where there was an executed action that led to material cost. MHJ is no saint but Hybe has not proven that MHJ committed the crimes Hybe accused her of. MHJ is still there because she has a contract that she has not been found to been breached. Again, Hybe can end this "war" by paying the contract penalty and then fire MHJ.

    • @my_voice_in_the_wilderness
      @my_voice_in_the_wilderness Před 22 dny +1

      @@edwinaquartey2231 Hybe does NOT own Ador; they are the majority shareholders with an 80% stake. MHJ is a minority shareholder with an 18% stake. Two of MHJ's assistants each have a 1% stake. Legally, minority shareholders have rights that the majority shareholder cannot break. These limitations would not exist if Hybe was the owner of Ador.
      MHJ was able to control management because she is the Ador CEO and Hybe signed a contract stating she is the CEO for 5 years from its creation. Hybe did not give MHJ a chance out of the good of their heart. They did it because Hybe mgmt believes MHJ would be able to produce something of value that is worth the cost of her contract. And bluntly, MHJ did. Ador produced a significant amount of profit for Hybe last year. Ador made more than Source and Belift Labs and they did it with only NewJeans. MHJ has her faults but, so far, she's proven a competent CEO.
