About Buckshot Roulette:
BUCKSHOT ROULETTE is a tabletop horror game that attempts to re-design the infamous game of Roulette, replacing the traditional revolver with a proper 12-gauge pump-action shotgun. This extra firepower, and more importantly the different mechanics in handling a shotgun compared to a revolver, offers a fresh take on the classic game of chance.
The game takes place at the top of an underground club, where the metal railings tremble to the pulse of long lost drum machines. A crooked AI dealer is waiting for you. Will you meet them?

Also just to note, the game had quite a few hiccups when I was playing it, which is strange because I'm running it on a beast system. I don't think it's optimization on the dev's end, I think it's just something on mine. But the point is, no, it's not your CZcams lagging. It's just the video :)

I’ve never understood the fear of the entity, it is surprisingly benevolent. Even after death, you never truly die. It acknowledges your return from the pearly gates and lets you keep trying for the money. It adheres to every rule, and isn’t a sore loser.

Fun fact about the dealers AI: He is addicted to beer.
But in actuality, the AI likes to eliminate chance, and will always chug beer, even when it would be inoptimal.
Plenty of people love to chug beer, so it sounds like the dev simply went the route of realism lmao
On a side note, thatis kind of a weird quirk for the AI to have. Ypu would think they'd rather optimize their item usage

If the score is one live two blank, and you shoot yourself with a blank, amd rack a blank, you know what the next shell is. Realistically, the only time you wouldn't want to chug a beer if you have it, is if you onow for certain the shell is a blank, so you can skip.

Can confirm this. If he has any handcuffs in his inventory, he will ALWAYS use them, as well as the beer and magnifying glass.
The beauty of living in a foreign country is that IGP's videos get released at like 3 to 4am for me so its extra spooky when i watch them if end up being up really late like i am now.

The dealer is pretty fair all thing considered. Like, he could rig it in his favour, but he just doesn't. He has just as much a chance to lose as you do.

IGP is not gambling his life but his luck at this game.
This was actually quite an enjoyable video to watch.
Regular Russian type roulette with a six shooter revolver is one thing, but this for a first time ever in any kind of media, uses a different kind of gun, but kind of like a game of Uno, where you can skip the other player or make them take four cards or you can put down a certain colored card to make it work in your favor for a couple of cards, this is like Russian roulette mixed with the help of Uno.
I like that there were at least three major rounds, and you obviously got more lives each round with the possible complication that there was more detriment to your lives, but that each individual item had a different reason for why it’s there, and you were taking into account each item and trying to strategically play it as best as you could, and I almost think of battleship as being a game of strategy because there’s no extras involved like the pieces on the board you get to use on the side, but you have to figure in which spots on the board, the ships would be placed, but also which direction they’re facing to be able to take out a boat and not miss.
So I like that you were openly verbalizing what your strategy was but once you got to know what all the pieces were, you were strategizing to all hell and back and I think that makes this for being what might seem like a simple game, a level two game with strategy involved.
It makes it more than the simple baseline idea.

Markiplier entertaining breezed through all levels 1st try. I don't know how you've seen multiple people but his didn't come through your recommendation. Maybe you didn't see that many people and him being the first that you saw doesn't really hold much weight.

A lot of people said this already, but this game needs more modes (maybe more items with new levels?) and multiplayer! It’s one thing to go against an AI, but to strategize against another player…that would make things interesting!

This seems like the kind of game that could be made interesting with a side path
Whatever the dev wants, free game but I definitely have an idea:
The option unlocks somehow to let you fire into the darkness. You're trying to hit whatever is pulling the strings of this dealer, but you're not sure WHEN the hidden danger is actually in line for a shot. You gamble the type of round AND if you even hit something back there. Absolutely no confirmation of hitting even if you do till there down and out. Then the equipment powers down. Including the dealer. How else could they take so many shotgun shells???
