About Lethal Company:
You are a contracted worker for the Company. Your job is to collect scrap from abandoned, industrialized moons to meet the Company's profit quota. You can use the cash you earn to travel to new moons with higher risks and rewards--or you can buy fancy suits and decorations for your ship. @@Cake_soup There is no AI, what the game does is it records everything you said on that playthrough or moon and just repeats them back to you. It's only things the others on your teams say though so you never know what to expect. Plus it can also be soething they said just before dying so you didn't even know it. Things like this one are really just shear coincidence. Just notice how odd the masked was repeated the line about the mountain dew backpack.

I could be really easy if it's not an ai or algorithm. They could have set trigger words (or even random cause sometimes they say really anything)

Had it happening before. Even had a coilhead talk in my own voice to me, ending up in two idiots saying that they're the real one

Sometimes it doesnt give any signs at all or if you hit it with a shovel, it eats you anyways, so it's really just a gamble (speaking from experience)
Creepiest skinwalker encounter in this game I ever had was my friend kept saying marco polo to try and find each other in the facility, and when I dropped stuff back off at the ship I heart footsteps, and I closed the door and it went "Marco" like it was trying to get me to say polo.
The funniest one was when another friend wouldnt stop singing "I'm on that good kush and alcohol" and a bracken would not stop saying it, like 3 seperate times the bracken sang it.

When Skilly's double said "I'm behind you" after you asked "Where did he go?" I basically had the same reaction as you. I froze and held my breath. And when you turned and the Bracken snatched you, I had to pause the video to compose myself because of how unbelievably horror-movie-like that moment was. I laughed my head off.

There's no way the skinwalker mod doesn't use AI. Not only does it know exactly how to respond to players, I've come across so many times where the monsters have said things that nobody in the game has said. We've even heard it use a friends voice who hadn't played with us for weeks!
For sure I heard other YTers say it has AI too.

I don't think it uses AI. At least for the voices.
You can see it registering voice clips in the debug log and saving them for use later on, and it keeps clips saved from other sessions, too.
That's why it uses so much memory as its consistently saving and loading voice clips.
It's definitely not AI, it only reuses the same lines the players have said, even things you didn't hear them say because they didn't say it over the radio. The masked for example literally repeated them talking about the mountain dew backpack saying "it's literally master chief" that they said in the ship when they landed.

The skin walkers alone are fantastic but the concept of the enemies having some ( I don't even know the proper word "manipulations or tricks") it's much more horrifying😁

Also, the teleporter not working for both of you was a really nice touch of "Oh shit I'm gonna die", the pure hopelessness and terror, because you know the braken is hunting you down while SCP 173 is cornering you.

I just found your channel and have been binging it like crazy. Your play style really suits my tastes. I like that when you play games with new concepts (like the spot the difference hallway one) that you take the time to explore the mechanics. I also liked how you sometimes let curiosity get the best of you lol. But I also like games like this where you aren’t afraid to play around and end up dying in funny ways.

Best ways to deal with the ghost girl:
1. Avoid staring at her if you can help it (it'll buy you some time)
2. Buy a shower and shower to keep her from haunting you
3. Pay close attention to the company notes at the end of each run (paranoid, most profitable are her favorite targets try to avoid getting those too often)
4. Get very good at running and dodging in this game

I genuinely wish someone would add the trumpet skeletons from the Minecraft mod into leathal company. They do no damage but the doots can be heard in the distance and they’re only attack is knocking you back with the trumpet. Of course it would also knock back other minsters too. Just like in the original mod.
