I honestly don't think Karl would be as funny as he is if he actually tried to be. It comes so effortlessly to him, he doesn't even mean to be, that's why i appreciate it so much! he;s hilarious!
Karl's idea is actually used in the movie: "Enemy Mine" from 1985 with Louis Gossett, Jr. as Jeriba Shigan. Jeriba is an member of an alien race that reproduce themselves in the way Karl describes here. I don't know if he ripped his idea of from this film, but just saying that while they're laughing at him, others had the same idea and put it into a movie. It is sad that creativity is killed for a cheap laugh.
@mohomadali It started as a podcast and the animation has been added later, at least it has for the episodes I've seen. I don't think there is any video footage because it was recorded without the intention of moving to television.
@salusburycheese I really don't think Karl was trying to make a metaphor. In his head, he probably thought it there was a scientist listening, this could be happening in the next few months.
Something went wrong during childbirth and Jeriba "Jerry" dies. It is not normal for a Drac parent to die during childbirth. The parent is the one who recites the lineage, however since Jeriba knew it was a good possibility he might die due to the exposure he was experiencing, he got Davidge to promise to recite it if he ever got off the planet.
@salusburycheese By "metaphor that they would understand" do you mean putting an idea in the most insane way human words can possibly manage? Because that's what I heard and I have to disagree with the idea that Karl is some kind of misunderstood genius here xD
Whats so entertaining about a cool idea constantly being rammed by shit I’d much rather prefer karl get to elaborate more on this. The fact that he tries to justify this process as easing death to a family makes me think its rather sweet
I actually do think karl makes valid points its just Ricky laughs at it so much it sounds like shit but the theory Karl did here is like when a phenix gets reborn from it's ashes and keeps the population at a same rate and stops overpopulation
So basically Karl is suggesting a form of asexual reproduction, which does occur quite abundantly in nature. To me, Stephen and Ricky have been better educated than Karl, but lack his curiosity and imagination.
"If you don't wanna do it, then we won't do it"
Like, if you're up for it. We'll sort it out
I love the part where it shows all the people in London having a wonderful time and Karl sat in his flat alone, looking angry with the whole sitation.
I honestly don't think Karl would be as funny as he is if he actually tried to be. It comes so effortlessly to him, he doesn't even mean to be, that's why i appreciate it so much! he;s hilarious!
Good to see that Clive Warren's bit on the side got over his fatal death and gets out in London
I think that Karl , Ricky and Steve will eventually stumble across the meaning of life haha
I like how the line that forms the title of this video was cut off partially.
because youtube deletes the first and last frame in every video uploaded
That was one of the funniest things I've ever heard. I'm laughing so hard that I'm crying.
Same. First time I’ve seen it. How has the last 11 years treated you?
Loved that film. Nice connection, brother.
I Absolutely adore the Fred Flintstones ears on rick!
the tiny laugh at around 0:33 is classic
Karl = Comedy Gold

Genius.
This actually sounds exactly like something Newton would have said during his crazy alchemist phase.
if you don't want to do it, we won't do it
if yo don't wanna do it, we don't have to do it LOOOOL
i think karl was thinking about a mythical pheonix on this one
@mohomadali

why are the voices high pitched in this
It's called a Phoenix.
fucking brilliant!
@skimaskready
YES!! THANK YOU!!!! THAT'S MY QUESTION EXACTLY!! Where is the Clive Warren clip???????????
"we gonna miss Gladys or wha eva"
Karl's voice is higher in this! XD
This would be cool
He just doesn't express himself that well...He is just talking about reincarnation
Is there an actual live action version of this show?
why is this speeded up
@youreadick123 nah just abkit louder probably from the record of it
@youreadick123 Yeah it does.
@salusburycheese I really don't think Karl was trying to make a metaphor. In his head, he probably thought it there was a scientist listening, this could be happening in the next few months.
@skimaskready It's on here just type Clive Warren..I LOL when I saw that episode

the meaning is correct but the metaphor is wrong
What he saying is when you at old age , your soul transfer to a baby that same day regardless of gender
@salusburycheese By "metaphor that they would understand" do you mean putting an idea in the most insane way human words can possibly manage? Because that's what I heard and I have to disagree with the idea that Karl is some kind of misunderstood genius here xD
it's kind of like reincarnation
HE IS smart i think
Why does Karl sound like he's on helium?
it not a bad concept
What's with the pitch?
Buttsteak Bandit Copyright maybe
I bet you're right and eventually that will come out if true.
Sorry - I am a Doctor.
kinda like benjamin button or Paa
That doesn't mean creativity is killed, it just means that movie is shit.
newman 😂
Whats so entertaining about a cool idea constantly being rammed by shit

Would have been better with Clive Warren...
yeah. It'd be kinda weird at the end because when you die you'll be a fetus, and then rather than rotting you'd turn into a cell.
You're so inventive and incisive, please be my friend? This comment might sound sarcastic, but I assure you it's not.
PLEASE BE MY BFF
Dr Dojufitz to you.
i love karl lol... theyr always ripping on himn but hes just like ..meh..
I actually do think karl makes valid points its just Ricky laughs at it so much it sounds like shit but the theory Karl did here is like when a phenix gets reborn from it's ashes and keeps the population at a same rate and stops overpopulation
Karl probably got the news from a movie review..
Hah i like he's talking about solving population problems then suggests everyone would be reborn
I feel bad for that human
..n
Reincarnation?
Just because someone made it into a stupid film doesn't make it creative...
So basically Karl is suggesting a form of asexual reproduction, which does occur quite abundantly in nature. To me, Stephen and Ricky have been better educated than Karl, but lack his curiosity and imagination.
There's different kinds of mad men. This is a madman talking about reproduction. Not my cup of tea. I'd like a madman to speak about mental health
