It's so cool that he got his life back together, and that Gloria and their son Rolan are good people. I was buying a new Yamaha YZ 125 when I heard of his death while inside paying for it. Some things you never forget. I can remember where I was when Jim Morrison, Jimi, John Lennon, JFK, RFK, and Martin Luther King were assassinated or O.D.'ed.

I think the point about his weight was so hyped here. Yes he looked a little bigger and rounder in the face, but not in the way they suggest here. From what they are saying you'd think he was morbidly obese. This was not the case. Marc Bolan was an awesome performer and songwriter. in a time when the charts were flooded with emerging talented musicians. He could easily hold a candle to any of them. Rest assured his place is safe as being one of the greatest performers in popular music history.
There's a Supersonic performance that shows him at his lowest. He did get bloated. Then cleaned up. His vegas-Elvis years only lasted 6 or 7 months by the look of it.

He was said to have died from a massive head injury.it was caused by the bolt on the concrete post the car crashed into.the tree actually stopped the car from rolling down the bank.glorias brother and another woman we're behind them and got them out.marc was already dead and gloria was groaning.she was inconclusive for 3 days.wasnt told marc was dead until the day of his funeral

They seemed to have had a falling out as friends during this time and didn't make up until Bowie decided to be on Marc's show in 1977 right before the car accident.
This brought me to tears, although some statements aren't real, like nico629 pointed out, this documentarie really captivated me,part specially the part where gloria&rolan are singing along to cosmic dancer with marc on the background. I keep a little Marc in my heart :')

June said in an interview once that she believes she and Marc would've got back together had he not died. She said in June of 1977 they were both at the same restaurant with their own groups of friends and Marc asked her to come with him and they spent the day together while Gloria was in America and was apparently unhappy with gloria and was bored. He also apparently said to June in 1977 “If you had not left, none of this would have happened.” So I really do think they were perfect for eachother

One of these documentaries said the car had very loose lug nuts, barely keeping one of the wheels on, the car had just been serviced a few days prior. Makes me wonder because many were shocked when his Will was read and his millions were nowhere to be found, his finances were a mess & probably much of it went to back taxes but there’s still a trust somewhere worth allot & his music is still earning money, I wonder where it goes.

I can remember reading something she said about him winding down the car window and being sick down its side.she said he could be obnoxious on it.also,gloria wasn't his 1st fling.he had flings with barbara nessime and marsha hunt before gloria came along.june heard him talking to marsha on the phone. June said in an interview once that she believes she and Marc would've got back together had he not died. She said in June of 1977 they were both at the same restaurant with their own groups of friends and Marc asked her to come with him and they spent the day together while Gloria was in America and was apparently unhappy with gloria and was bored. He also apparently said to June in 1977 “If you had not left, none of this would have happened.”

He’s own parents said to June if she hadn’t of left none of this would of happened. Personally I think at that age he was old enough to make his own Decisions. Marc and Gloria were both married when they started up ! He even said in an interview he couldn’t stay faithful because in the industry there were plenty of women there to corrupt him and he liked being corrupted. And tis was while Gloria was pregnant with Rolan .
