His spirit came his spirit has gone But with Marc Bolan, you can still Get It On T.rex they came and hit the scene You should have heard, those girls scream
With his corkscrew hair and people so fair He’d strut on the stage without worry or care He knew just how to get into your mind He’d bump and grind he was one of a kind He’d caress you with his Persian glove As he sang those words of hot Hot Love He’d Ride A White Swan over Crimson Moon Tickle your fancy with Venus Loon
Gave all he got, he gave it to you Rock On, Hang Ups, and Cadilac too All knew who was, was the Main man With Rip Off, Slider, and Tanx in a can

His B sides were good, as good as the A’s Jeepster was part of the Glam Rock phase Went to New York City he was The Groover With Telegram Sam Marc was a mover
To some, it came as no great surprise How this 20th Century Boy he did rise Electric Warrior L.P. was pure bliss Marc Bolan the Warrior we do miss.
A lovely video and it was great to hear from Marc's cousin (I hope she is well 23 years on ?) I was born in 80" but got into his music with the 91' re-releases. I then started collecting the original 70s vinyl and joined the fan club (still have a poster from the fan club which is now framed in my hobby studio). I have noticed some comments regarding the audio quality/not being able to rebalance the final audio mix? That is now possible through the wonders of modern technology with programmes such as spectral layers or isotope rx8. Thanks for the upload.
@mjh5437 Thanks, but truth is, I'm not so young now. I'm 43 and was in the marc bolan fan club and still have a poster they sent me from 91 (now framed). 😃
Phil Lynott collapsed at his home: Pagoda House, 184 Kew Road, Kew, Richmond, just before Christmas 1985. It was his mother, Philomena, who discovered him and called his estranged wife. She rushed him to a drug clinic at Clouds House near Shaftesbury, where the clinicians took one look at him and sent him quickly on to Salisbury Infirmary. He later died there on January 4 1986.
Sadly could only watch about 20 minutes of this. Found it really interesting but it was spoiled by the continual repetition of the same background riff (instrumental of Teenage Dream?) Seems strange to have gone to so much trouble to produce an interesting factual documentary and use the same piece of music over and over. What was he thinking? Copyright problems maybe?....

@@jeremyhartnell4802 Right ok....I have just read a June/July article with you from this year re: he Bass etc. The article says that you bought it from Mickey Finn in 2008, however Finn died in January 2003. Unless it was journalist error. My understanding is that the bass was brought back to England by Steve's then partner and left with a musician called David Mills. I guess he must have sold it on.
Was a big fan of marc bolan back in the 70s and still am. Great documentary of Marc's life. Thanks for it. Keep a little marc in your heart ❤❤❤❤❤❤
the more we remember marc the better we are as people
Great documentary of one of the most talented musician/songwriters England has ever produced!
Hearing from his sweet cousin was a treat
The music of Marc Bolan it take my breath away very very far ...
Unbelievable!!!
I can hardly take a breath after watching this wonderful video in memory of Marc Bolan....
Turn your lights way down, play Tanx as loud as your neighbours will let you and drift away into T'Rex bliss! Big love to you all!
I still have the original fan club VHS tape. It was copy protected, so I could never get it copied to my DVD collection...Thanks

Great documentary - thank you.
Great,Thanks for letting us have a good look at the locations without the camera going all over the place every 4 seconds like most youtube vids!
Loving this video. 💕

Lower the music, I can’t hear Caroline.
I think 142 Upper Richmond Road is the same address where Phil Lynott died.

Hi...What is your connection or interest to Steve Currie and indeed the Grand Cayman's?
I bought it years ago , and I’m in books as owner

Interesting but by gove cant stand the same looped music over and over again. It makes it uneatchable
