It's unfortunate Marc took June for granted. She was fantastic! She adored Marc. She took care of the business, their home, took care of Marc all so he could focus on his music. It's sad when he did realise he took her for granted it was too late.

I always thought that June was very badly treated by Marc I have nothing against Gloria I actually like her but June was there from the start rest in peace June

I Honestly Think That If June Hadn't left him,he would have picked her over Gloria,iwatching her saying Marc made his choice,and Marc was planning our future ok,even after Rolan(who is an innocent part of this)was born,he still never applied for an absolute from June,and she couldn't ask him for one either they really r soulmates so sad is it just me,or is Gloria all kinds of EVIL A.F? @@kellykrash5034 Nah he cheated on June multiple times apparently, have you ever thought about the possibility that he just nolonger fancied her? John Lennon was the same, got married to Cynthia and ended up with Yoko. Sure June on the surface seemed great for him business wise but he had his own unique mind. As for Gloria being evil I strongly disagree, the car crash was an accident unless you know otherwise, these things happen in life.

@@TheBlackcular according to June's own words in an interview she and Marc spent a day together in June 77 and he told her he wasn't very happy and she was convinced they eventually would have ended together because, in her own words, a love like this, once in a life time. Who knows? Mick Jagger and Jerry Hall were on and off as well, for example. As for Gloria, I don't know. I think she was not the best influence, nutrition wise, drugs wise and alcohol wise. With June they were vegetarian and almost a teetotaler, and with Gloria, well we all know. Also her musical influence was not right for Marc. He tried it and it was alright to try but it wasn't successful so then went and made Dandy in the Underworld. I don't think Gloria and Marc would have remained together forever.

Were June and Marc on 'good terms' when he died. Did he really try to stop her getting any money from the record label. I think she once said she would never marry again because she really loved him. So sad.
There is an interview where June says they had spent the day together and that they would have eventually got back together

wrong, Marc was ADVISED to do certain things (probably against his own better judgement). The lawyers involved with this business can be ruthless.Her heart disease may not have been brought on by this, purely assumption.

Gloria's voice was a wonderful compliment to his and if you really listen, she and her girls carried some of those songs. Cincinnati girl did good! ;) I have always felt badly for her and their son because they've gotten cheated out of so much money... recently Rolan was able to recoup some of the royalties. :)
Marc was more of a user than anyone.

Look at that bloody "Saturday Night Live" show from '74....The woman got almost centre stage forchrisakes.Not forgetting to throw little cheapo tambourines into the rent-a-crowd crowd to generate a little hysteria..... The USA remained uncracked by the 20th century boy....Ofcourse it's easy to forgive Marc's faults ; he left the world six years worth of great music, which is quite an achievement.....the reason some people might still be somewhat bitter about how it degenerated into cheap cabaret , is because he was so beautiful and brilliant when he started...just like Elvis.... it seems Marc was bent on emulating Elvis to its final conclusion.
