I've lost quite some people before I figured out that them passing on does not have to mean you've lost them. And there is a tremendous serene realisation in that, I guess the only thing you can try to be as a person is to be such a beloved friend or relative that people will not mourn on and break up after but feel loved beyond the grave.

Wasn't it a concrete pole in front of the tree where the car crashed in? Those poles were later replaced by a crash barrier, because the concrete bollards were too dangerous in car accidents.

It's a myth he hit the tree, it was a concrete post and the engine landing on top of him cause massive internal damage. He was taken to a morgue in Sheepcote lane in Battersea.

The car didn't "kill him". That was done by the steel reinforced concrete fence post between the road and 'The Bolan Tree'
