Goulders Green is known for the many famous people who have been cramaeted there. The ashes of many of them are still at the Crematorium, either in the building itself or in the memorial garden. #marcbolan #ltjones

We Bolan fans are very proud of the fact that of all the famous residents resting at the crematorium Marc is far the most visited person throughout the year ..Indeed the only person to be allowed more than one plaque up on the wall (plus another plaque in the room of remembrance as well as an entry in the remembrance book) Not forgetting the beautifully carved ornate bench and planters dedicated to Marc ( paid by the fans.. via the Marc Bolan memorial fund) ..Not forgetting our annual 'service for Marc' always held on the 16th September at the Crem ,where fans from all over the world come together to commemorate Marc's passing,where speeches and Marc's family and personal friends attend ..this year will be Marc's 45th anniversary, hope to see some of you there .x

Very interesting but the grand cemeteries on London are better in the long term. Ashes vanish very quickly as compared to bodies. This crematoria seems better thn most provincial ones. Get buried and keep open spaces is my advice and I have specified it in my will.
