Yes, you can see that beleaf is in love with baby puppy. And she loves him too! It's like she knows he's daddy and her protector.
That cuddle at the end was EVERYTHING!
Make sure the puppy has her own place to go when she’s overwhelmed or tired: like a big crate ( cage, really) with a towel over two sides so it’s like her own little cave where she can nap and recharge; it cuts down on nipping and snapping !
Agreed! Especially with young kids. It can make the puppy anxious if they don’t have somewhere to retreat too.

@@AvecPoesie the crazy part for me is I've been around them literally since the day I was born but I don't actually know more than the basics on how to interact with them, how to raise them, or how to care for one. 😬 completely on my own.
We did that with our puppy until she was fully trained and wouldn’t nip, because at the time we were fostering a baby so lol. But yes I completely agree
naya is the only one not moving, that i can see, once she's covered her eyes. girl is a tiny lady in the making. i love her personality so gosh darn much.

Absolutely my son grew up with dogs. My parents had one, his grandma has one, and his uncle has one. Now his other grandma has a kitten. He lives animals

Best tip: Get them used to clipping toenails, brushing teeth/fur, going on car rides (travel), from puppyhood.... Dont wait until they're a year or two or only at groomings. You'll be thankful later, no one tells you that early on!

@@Lily-ow5wm you should always use proper clippers. There are ones for puppies, cats, dogs. As well as several different types of clippers. However the biggest thing is making sure you do not clip the wick or the vein in their nail. If you do you can apply quick stop to stop the bleeding and prevent infection.

For the naysayers, I think having a pet is a great idea. Pets teaches kids to be responsible, they're great companions and also they show unconditional love. However start the training process... IMMEDIATELY!!! 🐕🦺

Uzi was literally looking at Riah when he opened his eyes 😭😭 lol had no clue about the dog until much later. I love his fascination and love for his big brother!!! Love y’all!! One of her names has to be Fluffy since it came so naturally to the kids.
Yes! I kept rewinding to Riah hugging Uzi on the couch; it was so sweet and Uzi is starstruck 😭 and then to watch him try to process and pet the puppy while everyone was asking questions and talking, too sweet

I would definitely get a trainer. We just got a puppy and having a trainer helps so much. If you’re clueless (like we were) it really helps guide you into know what you’re doing. You could probably find tips online but if you guys are up for it a trainer is the best way to go.
Too technical! All you have to do is first love your dog, issue one word commands, use it's favorite treats to reward after each command that's done correctly and most of all don't be lazy when it's time to take your dog out to potty! Teach your dog to chill! She's already doing that! Save your cash and read up on the bred! Learn and teach your kids how to treat your dog with love and kindness! 🦋💜🌹
I agree. Trainers can help with basic commands. And more if you want.

I think getting a dog for your children is awesome. So many great reasons why this puppy dog will benefit your home. Dogs provide unconditional love, their presence is therapeutic in so many ways, a dog can read your moods, provide comfort, snuggles and protect your family.. While your kids teach/train the puppy, your puppy will be teaching them patience, compassion, responsibility, and even forgiveness. I can tell your puppy has a very sweet temperament, and she appears to be very intelligent. Just remember, positive reinforcement works wonders while training. I think a great name for her would be 🍯 HONEY. She's the color of honey and very sweet.
This puppy will bring so much more joy and peace to your family. Remember that when she has an accident in the house or eats your favorite shoes. The comfort that she will bring. Consistency and care is key with dogs, being commanding and making sure she doesn’t get into bad habits and if she does correct them straight away, Merry Christmas truly a well deserved present for a sweet family
Being commanding is one of the most important things, dogs listen to how you say certain things not really what you’re saying so you have to talk with authority not like you’re asking them to do something

Don’t know if this has been mentioned already, but get her used to you grabbing her paws (gently) so it makes it easier on the future grooming appts and she isn’t paranoid about it. Set a bed time for her from the get go, best place is in a crate and cover her completely with a blanket so it’s blacked out (makes them feel safer). However you will have to crate train her in hour increments till she gets fully used to. With that in mind make sure you feed her dinner early and give her room to go potty before putting her down.
I always imagined that if I were to get a labradoodle that color brown that I would name it Paddington.

I just got a dog recently and it’s truly the most happiness my household has felt in a long time. It’s as if she has brought us the love that we forgot to share with each other because of becoming accustomed to focusing on work and other things.
