Can't blame him for crying. Who wouldn't ? ❤
Wow, that played out perfectly. Good job Mom& Dad! How sweet ❤

💯 parenting right there 🥰
.... that's 9/10 parents tho? Certainly that's been the case for quite some time
@@crieverytim You’d be surprised, man. I can tell you as a teacher that definitely not 9/10 of my male students have believed it’s okay for guys to cry.
@@Sophie-dd5xr yeah i believe its a high number. Even this kid felt he had to excuse himself a little. But we're talking about the moms. Ofc mom is going to say that's OK. Very few moms would rebut him w 'boys don't cry' etc
@@crieverytim How old are you? And how well do you know all the cultures in the US (assuming you’re American)? Trust me when I tell you that whatever bubble you grew up in isn’t indicative of the entire country. So many cultures still don’t believe in mental health or boys/men crying. I’m glad you think it’s that good because it shows you’re growing up in an open minded culture, but it’s definitely not the overwhelming majority of kids’ realities.
@@Sophie-dd5xr 35. I've lived in Ohio, CT, CA and NYC. While i admit that I don't have any kids in my bubble, when i was growing up, it would have been bizarre for a mom to chastise their kid for 'happy tears', esp when being gifted a long-desired puppy. The dads would be a different story.
Personally, outside of crying in fear/terror (say in the trenches/combat) or self-pity, I never understood the stigma. I cry at commercials, even weddings lol. 😭
Every boy deserves a dog and every dog deserves especially a boy
May their bond grow and their happiness last for years
Sweet kid, even when he thought he got dog toys without a dog. His joy when he sees his puppy is beautiful. 💜💜💜

This made me tear up. He seems like such a nice boy. And he's so lucky he has nice parents too. Hit the jackpot. Wish everybody could!
Beautiful ❤️ I would love to hear more from dad❤
That kid is so sweet as well as the parents ❤😊
I cried, too. What a sweet boy. So happy for him. ❤️❤️❤️
Can we just talk about how obviously safe this sweet boy feels to be able to show emotions so easily in front of his parents. Men are allowed to have emotions too ❤️❤️❤️
I can show emotion in front of my mom just fine, most men don’t have a problem with that;
most men have a problem with showing emotion around strangers.

I really like this one!
The smile on his face even when he thought his mom mistakenly bought him a toy meant for a dog is as precious as his excitement to realize the real gift was a dog! Sweet kid! Great job mom and dad! 🎉❤
I just love how grateful he was for the small gifts before he saw the dog.
You have a great kid there …. His expression didn’t turn to disappointment or despair when you apologized for getting him the wrong gift. Way too many children his age and even older would have been so upset but he just chuckled. He is going to a wonderful pet owner and learn a ton of valuable lessons with his tremendous compassion and love!!!! Happy 12th Birthday. May you never forget the joy you felt and the love your parents have for you.
Mum and dad.....u just gave tht sweet boy a lifetime friend.....happy birthday mate....and puppy welcome 2 da family!!😘💙🐕💑
Exactly, he was happy with whatever!!! Bless him !!!!
This is the most lovely comment i hv read in a while.
Great boy you got there! Thank you for sharing ❤️
My thought exactly. When a friend or loved one gives you a gift you should accept it graciously. If for no other reason than to spare the feeling of the person that gave the gift.
"Good manners are a way to show people that you care about them"
Om... he made me a grown man cry. He has such a great soul..
Love this!! If only more people realised this is what life is about!! Making people happy, this kid has been raised well, well done mum and dad

I loved that interaction. Not any "boys don't cry" or "you don't need to, it's happy thing" or similar stupid comments. Just saying that it's ok to feel ❤

I've never heard a mom say that lmao. Yall had some shit parents.

Well mothers have always been like that the whole idea of how men shouldnt cry came from other men.

Very correct
Once he saw the dog toys he immediately knew she was capping about accidentally getting them lol he's a kid, not a fool

The FACT that this Mom said, “It’s Okay!!” And HE FELT SO OPEN TO SAY OUT LOUD IN FRONT OF BOTH PARENTS: I’m gonna cry!❤
That's where gender identity knocks in!
