West Ham have been awful for well over a year,I've been calling for Moyes to leave last season and like the caller I've had to listen to all these so called pundits and experts back David Moyes saying what a good manager he is and who do you get in to replace him ? Honestly if they got Stevie Wonder in to replace Moyes he'd do a better job and luckily for him he wouldn't of been able to see the awful, negative inept football that we produce under Moyes.
I've been going to West Ham for 45 years and I've seen plenty of rubbish there over the years but never has it been as bad as this awful negative rubbish from Moyes.
I cant wait for the day when he is sacked,its not just him though that's killing this great club its the board that needs to be held accountable to, they've never cared about us proper fans, to them it has always been about making money to line there pockets from the day they turned up at our club.

Listened to this twice now,they don't want to hear anything bad about moyes,he's done as much as he can,shocking towards end of last season and as soon as we started bringing in some good players he can't deal with them,done the same at man utd.
The media are part of the problem with issues like this. So self righteous and disingenuous. Also, clueless. This fan was fantastic. Gave them factual information, his view, and backed everything up. They proceed to insult him, not listen to what he's saying at all, and label him 'pedantic' when they are trying to make what I am sure was about to be a very well made point, like the rest of what he was saying. Forest at West Ham was more to do with how bad Forest are away from home than how good West Ham were. Forest with 12 first team injuries have only got 3 points away from home all season.

That fan was right . Against forest for nearly 70 minutes they were dross untill the first goal went in . Fans sat around me were like this is moyes last 20 odd mins of premier league football. The guy said to Simon Jordan did you watch the whole game, to which he didn't, then he insulted the fan twice in an arrogant manner without the facts . But at the end of the day every individual has obviously got there own agenda ,based on there own life experiences . But only fans who go to every game can give an honest opinion on there team. This is classic TalkSPORT, West Ham call in: ganging up to intimidate and negate a fan who wants to criticise their mate David Moyes ("great man, I've known him for years").
All the caller wants to do is assert that David Moyes has NOT 'had a really good team for three years'. Their league form fell away after Jan 2022 and has stayed poor since then only gaining 28 points in that calendar year. In fact they haven't won away since last August when they managed to beat Villa with a very uninspiring performance. They only beat Forest last week because Forest were woeful and even then there was 70 minutes of absolute dross before the goals eventually came. It was a similar story when they beat Everton a few weks earlier. Otherwise West Ham have wavered from dull to dreadful.
The caller is obviously acutely aware of this because he's witnessed it in person and yet still Keown tries to belittle him and mischaracterise what he is saying, not listening properly and taking up a contrary point of view automatically. Then Jim White tries to discount the caller's view of events on the pitch at Brighton, even though White wasn't there and the caller was. Then Simon Jordan tries to gaslight the guy by claiming Bournemouth's two goals against Arsenal, a game they went on to lose, proves that teams don't need possession of the football. He even has the nerve to cancel the fan's comments about the Forest game while admitting he didn't actually fully watch it all. How pedantic of the fan to insist that you have to have seen the entire 90 minutes to understand how poor we were for most of it. If you only watched the highlights you wouldn't get it, those of us who were there know what we saw and despite the four goals it was still problematic.
Clearly TalkSPORT have a 'Moyes In' agenda, fair enough, he's their mate. They support the man but they do not have the interests of the club at heart. They won't be affected if West Ham get relegated. They obviously won't be wasting their own money, travelling to watch the team play negative, defensive football, with an isolated striker, ten men behind the ball and key players underperforming. They won't be humiliated when they underperform and lose. They care about their friend, the failing manager, not the club.
The rest of us know its not too late to sack Moyes, in fact its essential, otherwise it will be him that leads us into relegation, not the caller, as Jim White ridiculously suggests at the end of the clip. Moyes has to go. Even though those three muppets would never say so.

How someone is paying Keown for his opinion is sickening
Cut West Ham Simon off when he had the TS panel on the ropes. And while I love listening to Simon Jordan, he has it wrong in regard to investment in the team. Yes, last summer we spent big and this January the club panicked and signed Danny Ings, but the question we're all asking is who signed the players? How influential was Sullivan? None of the signings aside from Aguerd appear to be a Moyes type of player.
That book Martin is writing is really coming together. Hopefully he gives us a preview soon

Another seasoned manager who is now past it is yet again being backed by his mates on TS and other pundits on Sky. As a Newcastle fan who had to listen to the drivel they spoke about Newcastle fans harshly slating Steve Bruce for being abysmal, I feel sorry for West Ham fans as the same thing is happening and will get worse. How the hell Moyes is still in a job I find quite frankly bemusing. Regardless of whether he's a mate, instead of being incredibly biased why can't they just call a spade a bloody spade??

I am a Forest fan and what he was going to say was correct they deserved the victory but Forest fell away badly after 70 mins. I said to my mate at the time, this could be worse thing to happen at West Ham as it means "Moyes in". I think West Ham may be saved by Everton not having a striker, but by keeping Moyes they. have brought luck into the equation!!!

TalkSport has sadly become a vehicle for pundits to voice their opinions and dismiss anyone who disagrees with them, there is no debates on the show now just put downs and back handed swipes at callers who phone in to voice their concerns regarding the teams they support. Belittling callers over their opinions is not debate its bullying.

It just goes to show that those 3 clowns don't want to listen to there callers. Simon has just given them hard facts that we have been terrible for 14 months and they don't want to hear that. Moyes is dragging our club down and even worse is the board are sitting by and watch him do it. This is a manager that has NEVER won anything in his life and when he had a great chance to do so last January he bottled it. He even said in that January transfer window that there are no striker's available. Then the muppet does a podcast late last year and admits that he turned down the chance to sign Alvarez in January. Problem with Moyes is he had a decent, but ageing counter attacking side. He tried to change it to more possession based but hasn't brought in the right players for either philosophy. Over 100 million wasted on under par players. He played Paqueta as a number 10 for months but he plays no 7 for Brazil. Ings plays better in a two but sits up top feeding off scraps. He is always talking about how is 150 million player, how rice is going to be captain of England. All the while sitting 17th in the table.
West Ham fans don't have high expectations, mainly we just don't want to go down. We had a great season and a half under Moyes but if we are honest, we way outperformed our expected goals, Antonio is a weird player, he scored so many goals but he always looked a bit clumsy and was never going to keep that run of form going yet (despite being offered Julian Alvarez for 15 million) Moyes failed to buy a backup striker. It was also a combination of a really strong and physical counter-attacking team, and being underestimated most people thought we were dire because we almost went down the season before.
The reality is the counter attacking and set piece football worked until people figured us out but watch us play now, we really have a hard time maintaining any game state and keeping the ball. I watched Newcastle vs city and although they lost 2 - 0, Newcastle are able to keep the ball and peg city back at times and play their way.
It is horrible to watch and the squad is capable of so much more, I saw us go down to the championship 20 years ago and followed west ham around the country in the championship, given our stadium, revenue and how much we have spent it will be an absolute catastrophic failure if we go down and it is a long process to rebuild after relegation so I think we should be concerned.

There is a touch of arrogance as if Moyes is saying if it wasn't for him we wouldn't be in Europe & we're entitled to fight against relegation! A handful of European games aside, we have been very poor since January 2022. It's ok buying so called decent players but when a manager like Moyes is in charge, is he the type of manager to get the best out of them?
Staying in the league is the most important thing but we have been in trouble all season and we look nailed on for relegation.

Feel like some other footballs fans think that us West Ham’s feel like we have a divine right to challenge for top4 which just isn’t the case, this year was really a year for West Ham to finally go forward as a club and secure ourselves as a team who will finish around 8-6th nearly every season with the odd 11th and 5/4th placed finish but moyes has destroyed that chance we don’t try and even play anymore our players get sent out on the pitch to try and defend for 90 minutes but clowns like Martin and Simon say we have identity when we have absolutely none with him in charge we’re down.
