Id say to Ben Foster as a neutral who has watched West Ham on numerous occasions this season that as an ex-professional footballer he needs a reality check.....
West Ham play the worst style of football I have personally ever seen at the top level. They rely so heavily on players like Paqueta to perform that without them they fall apart. No one can play counter attacking football with 4 Holding Midfielders and being lucky enough to have 30% possession, even at home....then add in the pace and lack of press to it. How the hell is that something any fan of any club wants to go and watch week in week out.... id rather watch the grass grow at The London Stadium than West Ham play on it.

Pundits and ex players like this would drive me mental if I was a West Ham fan, the style of play is shocking they were the worst team I’ve seen at forest this season and possibly since our promotion. I don’t think I’m that wrong in saying that even when West Ham we’re picking up points it was still poor to watch and at times very fourtunate , please correct me if that’s incorrect. All the pundits see is West Ham ( not big 6) complaining at being in the top half and in Europe, which if you don’t actually look into the situation can be misleading however , the smallest amount of effort is all you need to look at the problems. 500m spent under moyes and they still most the time have little grips on games, when with the players they have is embarrassing. And to say the supporters who travel the county every week to watch their side and say the need a reality check is a joke. Come on they have probably watched them 5 times this season, and if they aren’t going to watch them then don’t come on the radio or tele and pretend you know what you are on about. Please West Ham fans correct me if I have got anything very wrong, feel for you having to put up with the media recently. They don’t have a clue !

What more could he do? He could have managed to actually buy and embed a striker into the side. He has failed to do that with three strikers. He could not wait far too long to make substitutions. He could be able to consistently make changes during games when things are not going well to address what is going wrong. He could have applied that to all of the games in the last few weeks. He spent somewhere between £300-500m but has not managed to build a deeper squad which can be more consistent regardless of injuries to one or two flair players. He could build and develop players and get the best out of them rather than making them play against their strengths and sap the energy, enthusiasm and fight out of them. He’s done good things but he’s not the man to do what needs doing going forward as he would have done them already.

Moyes will be the allardyce for the next decade before retiring. No top club will take him on, it's not even about 'playing beautiful football'. It's about having a go at a game when you're at home against mid table sides, it's about having more than one tactical system. @@josephridler-em5pk Either way you're right we did nearly get relegated last season under Moyes, and he's been relegated before. West Ham gave him his best ever time as a manager, by spending big money on excellent players, yet he ruins a lot of them. There are better managers out there to say the least, he's the worst man and fan manager in the league, let alone tactically. Besides it's incredibly dull to watch, the worst team to watch in the entire league, they hardly have the ball. It's not even sustainable on a purely results level now. And all our best players will want to leave under this manager. I'd rather he goes instead.

But if he pride himself as a manager playing defense and counter attack, then do it right. Losing anything more than 3 goals gap, bad defending (as in the defense is not solid during matches), unable to properly counter or even players are not fast or position in an advantageous place to counter attack is really unsightly.

Unbelievable the amount of managers who have been and gone from other clubs during his time at Westham yet i dont recall the average pundit calling for them to stay. It turned out it wouldn't have been a good look to let him go after winning a trophy. The truth is that even though people think we are punching above our weight, the players are punching below their weight, because of poor coaching, played out of position etc. Just because DM did well in the past the overall trajectory of DM in charge is downwards. The tactics have been found out. Ranieri at Leicester C. won the PL, but was sacked the following season because he could not take the club any further. What makes DM any different to Ranieri? Because it's little old West Ham and not Leicester C? It's not West Ham supporters that needs a reality check.
