Thought it was funny about how we should all be grateful for such a pragmatic manager like Moyes and what we have achieved under him yet in the next segment, slated Mourhinio for being a pragmatic manager who's tactics are outdated and don't work anymore.

He says we had two season where we finished 6th and 7th so league wise, we are going backwards under Moyes.

I think the difficulty with West Ham's issues is that the majority of football fans & football pundits aren't watching the games with any real interest or scrutiny.
People say we are overachieving... as a West Ham fan, I feel the team are actually overachieving but with the tactics & underachieving with the players we have.
Here's the context for why the fans are feeling the way the do.
Despite beating Arsenal 0-2. Arsenal recorded the 2nd most touches in an oppositions box in premier league history.
Despite beating Brighton 1-3. West Ham had only 32 passes in the 1st half & finished the game with the 2nd lowest possession in premier league history at 21.5%.
While these are extreme examples, they are indicative of the teams typical play. They are current sitting 16th & 19th with overall possession & possession in the final third. They also sit 17th with expected goals against & 14th with expected goals for. This all accumulates in a style of play that is extremely difficult to watch, we play with a low block, conceding possession & chances immediately all the while what little attack we do create is reliant on clinical finishing. We tried to convince ourselves that despite the terrible football we were getting points, but when the points dry up, it is a struggle to see any positives whatsoever as the football is so overwhelmingly negative.
This type of football (possession & chances conceded, attack limited) is not sustainable for success in the long term as we are currently seeing.
I have read & heard multiple times on from other fans that their game is the most boring game they have ever watched, the one thing these have in common is that west ham is 1 of the 2 teams playing. Now imagine seeing that every week.
Now the above wall of text only explains the on field tactics, after this there is a whole other list of issues that have frustrated the fan base.
We have the smallest, oldest squad in the league & despite that we rotate the squad the least & use the least number of substitution with the least minutes, & because of our European commitments we have played the most games. This all means our 1st eleven are being run into the ground while the rest of the squad diminishes in match fitness, confidence & value.
Even with all this we sold 5 players in the winter window & have 9 players out of contract in the summer.
Players are constantly being played out of position.
Refuses to give our youth any significant chance
Players do not get dropped when they should
Fringe players who do manage to get a run out & play really well. Will not get back into the team.
Players are sold at anything from minor to significant to extreme loses.
Sub are all reactionary rather than pro active.
This is why the fans have had enough.

West Ham were favourites to win the Euro Conference. West Ham are never favourites to win anything ever. That shows how easy that competition that was to win. Apart from that we were in a 35 game relegation fight last year. Our form this year has dropped off a cliff. We have a decimated ageing squad. The project hasn’t worked. It needs to change. Moyes out.
There were pundits on talksport saying it was a plastic trophy we over celebrated winning. Now we're hearing we should be grateful for Moyes winning it for us. It boggles the mind.

You spoke very well Nicky, and made a number of great points. Regarding the style of play, I agree, you can play a more expansive game AND win games of football: like everything, there is a balance to be had. For me, Moyes is way too defensive, and the football is boring to watch, outwith some individual moments of magic from Bowen, Kudus & Paqueta.
Oh Jeff I used to think you at least a little bit of football knowledge, but since you have moved to this station you have shown time and again you are no better than Jim White, Jamie O'hara etc. Please co.e down to the London stadium (and pay for your tickets) for at least 8-10 games and then tell us how we are lucky to have Moyes

47 Years a West Ham fan and the worst football we've ever seen Moyes out now
It’s not West Ham’s most successful period ever,as we have won the European cup winners cup, been in a ECW final, and won the FA cup three times, so any of these were much harder to win than the euro conference cup (of which we had by far the most expensive squad in the competition), in the last four years we’ve spent just under half a billion £, and pay around the third highest wages in the premiership, and yet we seem to have the second oldest and the smallest squad in the premiership, and according to UAFA / FIFA we are the 17th richest club in the world with the second largest ground in the premiership, so why do you tv pundits still talk about WH as if we are Southend united and have no entitlement to be fighting for honours in the top six of the premiership?? Nicky well fort but you were outnumbered I’m afraid, and you could have done with Gary from C&B at the side of you giving them some statistics that show how bad the football is that we have to put up with week in and week out at West Ham. “Moyes Out”

Look at the form table for the last 5 or 6 games. We’re bottom off the form league with a huge goal deficit.
We only just avoided relegation last season which was forgotten about because of the European cup.
Loads of great signings came in but Moyes is coaching the talent out of them now. We can’t string passes together at all, even short 5 yard ones, the players have this fear of looking over their shoulder and going backwards before ever going forwards.
What these pundits fail to grasp is the fans are paying for a product called entertainment and they are not getting it. If sterling went in a restaurant and ordered and paid for fillet steak but they gave him a bit of scrag end (cheap cut ) but he then says its ok dont worry about because i had a fillet here last year
