I have a 2018 AWD GT Challenger and I love it!
Only gone through a couple of snow storms but it handled like a champ in those conditions.
It’s the best looking practical car you can own! IMHOP.
I live in Minnesota, so a awd car is a must. I have a 2018 awd challenger, I put flowmaster on it straight piped the rest, cold air intake, tune, wider tires and now this car is a dream. I did not get this car to race just needed a little power in a beautiful American car.
I would hellcat swap the engine
Have RWD, with some blizzaks and a light foot on the pedal she drives great! Can only imagine the AWD! 👍

You don’t get into the rear of coupes from the driver side. They’re always designed to enter through the passenger....

The passenger side has the sliding bar for the seats to move forward faster.
For anyone wondering. These sound pretty dope for a v6 with some pipes.
Has a nice throaty sound in low rpms
I love that there is a screen off button. I don't need that 8 inch light all in my face while I'm driving at night.

Nice review. I'm getting tired of the meatheads who say that a muscle car needs a V8 when it doesn't. This trim serves a purpose which was covered in the video. I'm an RT owner, but I have nothing but respect for the GT and SXT owners. Not everyone is able to afford a V8 and this is a great alternative. Speed is something that's not coveted by everyone. There's looks, AWD and gas mileage to consider as well

I have this car and with some mods this thing is a bad ass in bad weather states. I'm not trying to race everybody just need to look good with a American car that I can afford with some power

I never sat in the back of my 2019 RWD GT Challenger... Had no idea it had vents in the back 🤔... Dam go figure
I just picked up a 2018 F8 Green AWD GT. It has the blacktop package. Looks incredible. I love this car. The V6, while not hanging with the R/Ts, SRTs, ect, is a peppy fun engine with plenty of power for day to day driving. Mine came with Magnapacks and the Hellcat style high beam intake installed and is a blast to drive. Everyone loves this car despite it being a 6 Cylinder.
Do the magnapacks effect the cars warranty??
@@ttrider0125 Only on the exhaust. I had Big Boz 4s installed and still had warranty work done under my extended warranty with no issues. In my opinion the Big Boz are the best exhaust for the 3.6L. Sounds better than the magnapacks or bullets.

I also have the all white 2019 GT Plus RWD and i absolutely love the thing. I only drive in sport mode and it's a beast in my opinion.
Have an '18 AWD GT and literally love the car. Call it the Beast. Glides through snow with no problem. Living in Minnesnowta AWD is a necessity and this puppy does justice to the wintery environment! I will be getting a '20 model soon enough.
what part of minnesota do you live in because i also live in MN and was between this and a sti but i wasnt sure if the awd system would be able to handle the snow here?

i have a ‘19 AWD GT and also in Minnesota and it sticks to the road with no problems, handles the snow very well

I live in NH, need an AWD car, and I prefer coupes. I've mostly only been looking at Merc, BMW, and Audi, but this is an interesting choice. Would definitely save a lot of money with this, but not sure if it's sporty and fun enough, which is really the only reason to get a coupe. Would definitely be very interesting if they made a V8 AWD

I have a 17 challenger gt awd and the worst part about this car is if your window gets ice on it is extremely difficult to get in. Other then that it is one of the best daily drivers you can possibly get. (Got the American exhaust because it was way to quite haha)
dudeeee i have a 19 challenger awd gt and i know your pain with the dumb windows😂😂 i was stuck out of my car and i forced the door open and had the heat on for at least 20 minutes before i could slide my card to free the window so i could shut my door all the way lol

I have a DC AWD 2023 at only 13 miles and now 5 months later only 1010 miles fun drive, great Lake Tahoe ride people look at me in the snow as I go by love this Dodge good MPGs too reliable to.
Weird question but how is the sound quality on this? I love to listen to music with heavy bass and I am just wondering whether the audio sounds good in the car?
It’s equipped with the Harman kardon 900watt speakers, pretty decent tbh. It’s not super high quality but it’s not cheap at all either. Great bass when songs go hard. Some challenger models have the upgraded sound system as well with heavier bass

It's all about the look
Realistically, a vehicle like this: Large, V6, AWD isn’t a muscle car, its a Grand Touring car. Hence the GT badging. These cars are meant to be long distance cruisers, not drag strip monsters. When you move up into the RWD V8 variants, then they can be considered traditional muscle cars.
The V6 challenger has that same 3.6L pentastar engine they got in those jeep wranglers they haul pretty good, but gotta agree V6 ain’t a muscle car.
Imagine that car having a scat package 6.4 engine with awd let just say bad azz

Seriously, I get 258 ft. lbs of torque from 2,000-5200 rpm and my car weighs 3120 lbs, a bit less than the big guy. I'm not saying it wouldn't be fun to drive, but I live in snow country.

I own a plumb crazy scatpack shaker and its pretty low. I can see how the more economical models would be more practical.
Good for my terrible knees and arthritis. Easier to get in and out of.
The GT AWD I believe has a couple of inches higher ground clearance because it was meant for bad weather / snow and not street racing.
I was thinking the same thing rgrndu. You can definitely lower it like two inches and still have plenty of clearance

I'd love to get one so I could drive a Challenger more comfortably during the Colorado winters, but if only they would drop a proper V8 in there and give it wider tires...the exhaust note is absolutely anemic, and the tires that come with it look like they were taken from a Dodge Caravan.

The V6 SXT weighs nearly 5,000 pounds and can do 0-60 in same time or even less. I wish people would get over their arrogance of the V8. The 1974 Dodge Challenger V8 0-60 time was in the 9 second range. Would you say that wasn't a muscle car?
