I enjoyed watching Jason Quinn's portion of how he is able to weather his train's so professionally and shows us his passion that he has grown to love and grow his hobby. This whole video is very educational and fun to watch. Thanks
This is like paradise for all trains and miniature lovers...
I've built one of the Wild West models and they are fantastic! I built the 'Durango' house kit about 2 years ago but I gotta say that 'Silverton' house looks amazing!
These dusting tips apply to to my Plastic Model Kits too.
Thanks a lot
Another great video Ken!! It's great to meet the person "Jason" who snipes me on e-bay's Bowser 100 ton Chessie coal cars.... lol. Seriously though, nice work Jason.
Found this you tube channel about a month ago and loved it. Watched all episodes on a weekend and now I cant wait for the new episodes to watch. Great job Ken Patterson I'm hooked.
Ken, another fine episode. Personally, I got some good info and ideas from the coal train weathering. I have several 30-ish car trains that need some attention this way. I was REALLY glad to hear George B. talk about the HEP mode for Tsunami 2 - I have been waiting for this to come out in an "easy to run" system for my Amtrak train. Now it's time to get them off the shelf and get the decoders installed. I like your approach to the dusting experiment. I just retired from 45 years in a medical field and research, experimentation and reporting were vital there and it's interesting to see that brought to the hobby! Thanks Ken.
Ken loves that Red Oak Stain
Ken,
Fantastic video for the month of July! You cover a number of subjects in a very professional presentation.
Simply put; you are a fantastic artist and exemplifier of quality work in any of the areas you endeavor!
Ken, Try a soft makeup brush from your wife's set taped to the plastic hose from a computer vacuum adaptor kit. That way you will get the vacuum close to the brush and be able to use it with one hand free
Ken, great point on model dusting! I always use a soft bristle brush to clean the dust off my models as needed, aided with compressed air from my airbrush. ~Daniel
Been doing this type of cleaning for all my models for years, exceptional results quarteed
I have used one of my wife's make up brush's Work great.
Another great one Ken! That On30 Layout was amazing, and further pushing me towards that Scale.
Just found this channel. Great show and a really wonderful variety of topics! Can't wait for next month.
You could get around all the CV setting bull and use JMRI decoder pro to do all your programming. Plus it gives a visual of everything you are changing
You've got some cool videos! Some of the best! Great Job! YAY!
I really like how Jason's coal loads weren't even. Some cars, one end was higher than the other.

Is that a Bachmann 2-8-2 at the end?
