    It's taken me days to watch this all the way through. I'd watch a bit then "rewind" and I kept doing that because I didn't want it to end, Ken. THAT'S how good your productions are.
    Thanks for sharing...

    Simply a great job - camera work, editing, interviewing, balancing the onscreen subject matter, etc..
    I truly enjoyed watching this episode from start to finish (no boring moments).
    Great job guys!

    Say Ken, when it comes to really fine detailing paint jobs, I use a brush made out of a cat's whisker. It provides a very fine line when using the thin end and a stiffer fine point point when using the other end. Please, don't harm any animals trying this. I find them all over the house, because I have 12 cats living inside, but if you have an animal with whiskers, if you look close, I'm sure you can find some.

    Amazing. My first visit to one of these conventions in the early 1980's, there was only 6 tables.

    Does Steve Hurt compete in model car contests with his vehicles? If not, I think he would do very well. If at all possible, he should look at competing at GSLScale Model Championship ( think model car SuperBowl) to be held May 2-5, 2019 at the Salt Lake Sheraton City Centre hotel. Depending on what city he's in, he could also compete in the area IPMS show that is geared towards all types of models across the board. Again, I think he would do well in these competitons. Thanks.

    • @stevehurt2927
      @stevehurt2927 Před 6 lety

      Thanks Erroll. I used to go to a lot of model contest but just don't have the time any more. I have been to GSL once but the reception there is not quite the same for big weathered trucks as it is at the RPM show.

    • @errollpalmer9568
      @errollpalmer9568 Před 6 lety

    Why does this guy always have two pairs of glasses on his head? In case he loses one??

    • @MRhobbyist
      @MRhobbyist  Před 6 lety

      Ken doesn't like bifocals -- one is regular glasses, the other is reading glasses. Bifocals make you tip your head back and strain your neck -- Ken prefers two sets of glasses instead.

  • @RovingRoy
    @RovingRoy Před 6 lety +2

    These are good shows for the fans, BUT what is it about this hobby that seems to not have much minority representation?

    • @spuriousjohn6720
      @spuriousjohn6720 Před 6 lety +1

      What a strange question. Is there a requirement for minority representation in any activity? People tend to do the things that interest them and avoid the things that don't.

    • @MRhobbyist

    • @MRhobbyist
      @MRhobbyist  Před 6 lety

      Full reading glasses means you don't need to strain your neck trying to look at the bottom of the lens when looking at something close up. BIG advantage -- you clearly haven't reached that stage in life or you would understand it! Who cares how it looks if it works?

    • @atfundum
      @atfundum Před 6 lety

      I care how it looks ! And I have double focus lenses.....you folks should try this too......no problems at all ! :-)
