Thank you, happy to hear this was of help. Yes I did all the mechanical stuff first then flashed the tune
Great video! I appreciate the run down. Getting my tune this Friday!!
Happy to help, and enjoy the tune when you install it!
Hi,how it's the tume stage 2 ?I have q7 2015 TDI I looking for stage 2 time

Happy to help out

Here is the video link of the sound

Would love to see a review and driving with the tune!
There will be one, just in the last month and the next month to come I've been busy with moving and starting a different job. But it's in the plan!
Still have the q7? How was it? Was it worth it?
Hey again Mark, I have developed a coolant leak on my q7. I was wondering if you had any experience with the oil or EGR cooler leaking? I have not torn into yet, waiting on it to cool down a little, but curious if you have seen this before? Jim
Hi Jim, I have not had any oil or coolant link around the EGR. So it's something I haven't not seen.
Great videos, getting ready to do my Q7. Quick question...did you tune the DSG transmission? Rawtek recommends a DSG transmission tune to handle all the new horses added to the engine. If you didn't tune the DSG, do you experience rough shifts? Thanks
So the Q7 TDI does not come with a DSG transmission. It's the Aisin transmission. I believe the SQ5 comes with a DSG transmission. I have not done the transmission tune, as for the shifting it is smooth. Eventually I'll get the transmission tune but right now not any time soon
@@markb6s4 thanks man... I should have watched your Q7 Aisin transmission oil change video. My bad
@@arielmachi sure thing. not a problem at all! just make sure to watch how to properly top off the atf. i gave some false info on the original video :/, the link is in the discretion on that video. happy to help, don't hesitate to ask questions!
Can we get an update and sound of the exhaust

Hey Mark. So looking to do this on my Touareg as I’m getting some emissions related fault codes and the fix has been quoted around 1400. You mentioned you bought your delete kit used… who is the manufacturer and are you aware of kits that come with the catless down pipe?
the manufacture thats makes the delete kit is called "Rawtek" here is the link. you can either get the down pipe with or without cats. if you go the catted route it will cost slightly more then catless. www.rawtekinc.com/collections/touareg-q7-tdi-2013-2016
Great video
Do u have any problems with check engine turn on? Mine have check engine light on after ran 50-60 miles. Thanks in advance
I have not had any problems at all after the tune. I only had problems before the tune
does it create a black smoke after deleting and tune? Thanks
With this tune it does not create black smoke (rolling coal). If you want to roll some coal youll have to find a tuner that can do that for you
so you didn't delete EGR and Swirl Valve but add on a EGR and Swirl Valve deletes tune? how does that tune work with your EGR and Swirl valve if you didn't delete them physically?
It deletes the function of both of those. As of right now all it is is paper weight. In the future I do plan on removing both of those.
do you get more miles per gallon now?? or do you notice that you use more fuel??
oh i get more mpg now. depends how you drive. with my style of driving i kind of push it but with that i get about 29-30mpg when pushing it. and about 35mpg when taking it easy. ill be posting a video hopefully next week with me talking about that information1
Also let’s say the exhaust is put on and the tune is done afterwards, will it hurt the car to drive maybe 15 feet to a parking spot
If you drive the car with the delete kit with out the tune you will get CEL, personally i don't think it'll do harm for such a small distance.
Awesome! My Q7 still has plenty of extended emission warranty so I will wait till thats done b4 I do the delete. Is yours have no more warranty? only has 41k on the odo
Mine still had the warranty 😬. But I said screw it I want to enjoy driving the q7, and it is quite a big difference when driving.
I'm thinking the same thing. I've 20k miles or 1.5 years left of warranty so I'm making plans for deleting that soot cooker sometime in the next year.
Let's see it rip. Does it smoke at all?
no smoke that i know of, but ill be making a video of that coming later
Hey bro. What did you do for the egr? Did you take it out? Or just disable it through the tune? I’m having egr issues and I wonder if I tune it, by disabling it, the car will get better or if you actually have to remove the system.
The tune I got has the EGR disabled. And it is still in the car right now. I have not had any issues with it so far and it's been little over a year now with the tune
@@markb6s4 can you keep the stock exhaust? I saw you got a whole new exhaust system but I see there is different stages for the tunes. I guess my question is can you get through Malone something that disables the egr system but keeps the stock exhaust?
@@Adrian-jy6lm yes you can keep the stock exhaust.
Where did you get your downpipe? I have a 2011 Q7 stage 2 tune with everything else but a new down pipe!
I was lucky and found it on a Q7 TDI Facebook page for sale
Does the other car need to be turned all the way on after connecting the batteries
I'd I'm understanding your question correctly... Yes, the other car does need to be turned on all the way while the other car(one being tuned) is in aux mode
My question is what did you do with the DEF fluid tank? Do you just drain it and plug up the tube? Also, I'm curious what you did with the DPF? I've heard it contains platinum... surely someone would buy it?
if you watch pt 2 of the video i install the delete kit. so pretty much unplug the def connection and let gravity to drain the tank. As for the DPF i still have it. dont plan on selling it
Do you have original file for Q7 in stock?
how come when i try to erase my device i get a no credit error code?
Sorry i don't know the answer to that. I would suggest to email Malone tuning and they will be of better help.
Flashzilla page says your able to hold 6 tunes, I’m trying to get my eco and stage 2 tune in my flashzilla, have you had any luck with more than 1 tunes installed?
the only two tunes I have installed is the stage II and stock tune.
any luck with more than 2 tunes installed?
