    You have great videos on Q7. I have a question for you, if I need to delete EGR, is it possible to get rid of whole unit (EGR valve, EGR cooler, etc)?
    I have see videos to install EGR blanking plate but that will only stop crap coming from EGR to clean cold air. But all the possible issues due to EGR cooler and EGR valve will still be there.
    Would like to hear your thoughts on this. Thanks

    Done this on my a5 dpf delete, egr delete, and maifold of and cleaned it out 5-6 times with oven cleaner and scraper nightmare of a job but the car runs smoother now

      I can’t remember if I did a follow up video but I’m sure it’s out there. The car got 3mpgs better and the oil looked a lot cleaner. I don’t have the q7 anymore but I do have an A6 TDI and I have yet to delete it and do carbon cleaning. Probably this winter I’ll do it.

    Question for you: if you do the stage 2 tune with the egr delete is the block off hardware kit necessary? Im under the impression the tune disables the egr? Sorry, new to diesels.

    • @Halffast719
      @Halffast719  Před 6 měsíci +1

      I think it’ll plug up your intake running that much fuel. The soot will build up in the intake faster. I like the block off plates so it stops any soot from going back into the engine. The tune might disable the EGR but is that open or closed, I don’t know.
