Eagle Fly Over and The Biggest Band in the Land, Allen Eagle Escadrille Traditional Show 2018

- The Allen Eagle Escadrille (aka: The Biggest Band in the Land) is the Largest Marching Band in America, with over 740 students that perform weekly at Allen High School football games. Allen High School is a 6A school located in Allen, Texas, a suburb north of Dallas.
The Traditional Show, a crowd favorite, is performed at halftime for the first few football games each season, and sometimes during play-off season. This was the first time the "new" Traditional Show was performed for the public. The "old" Traditional Show which was performed for decades was similar, including straight-line marching maneuvers, March Grandioso and filling the field from end zone to end zone, however this is the first time that the Allen "A" has been a part of the show.
The show that the Escadrille will perform in competition is "Into The Unknown."
Allen is "one school town" [one high school] as determined when the city of Allen was established. It has resulted in a unity within the town in support of the school, students, families, and community.

Student enrollment in Allen ISD has more than doubled since 1989, bringing the current (2018) number of students to more than 20,780 in grades K-12. Students attend one of 18 elementary schools, three middle schools, one freshman center (enrollment 1,775) and one high school (enrollment 4,929.) Allen High School maintains a graduation rate of 98.5% - Hudba

Considering the fact that ever $$$ spent on sports and stadiums had to be matched by money spent on arts and performing arts centers... yeah, I don't think anyone is saying anything other than "My, that's very nice."
@@garygordon4116 To be fair, this school has 6000 students, the size of a lot of colleges. They certainly get enough tax revenue.

fantastic! have seen them many times. There is just nothing like it and at one time I had two grandchildren in the band. Talk about proud....Not even! it was PROUD! my grandchildren graduated years ago. And I am no longer in Texas, but that pride is still there. Keep it up Allen, you are not only the biggest but also the BEST
When we moved to the area in 1971 Allen had 2000 people.

For a band that size, I think I want to hear a much bigger sound. Not loud but more robust. Can’t get over how huge it is. Oh, well, as they say, size doesn’t matter.
When they're marching the instruments are turned towards the endzones that's why u can't hear
Not a good excuse. FTAB faces end zone and they are much louder
Entirely to big. Split this group into 2 or 3 smaller bands that can perform more ornate shows. I'm not impressed with the delivery of the show or their sound.

Agreed with over 700 members there should be undeniable sound and regardless of the “sound quality “ of modern day cell phones they don’t sound like they are reaching there full potential…

$84M for a high school football stadium it to much $ but I don't pay those taxes.
That stadium only holds 11,000. Allen Eagle stadium seats 18,000 and is sold out every week. You have to enter a raffle each season to get seats.

It’s called inflation pal. Allen was the first to start the trend and ours seats 18,000 compared to your 11,000. Additionally, underneath our stadium we have a state of the art weight room. Go ahead and look it up. Kyler and AB trained at our practice facility together and went down to the weight room.
You should listen to north shore highschool band. I'm pretty sure the band doesn't sound loud because of the audio quality but northshores band sound louder.
Well I see why the band is a 6A and not a 6O, because I have seen some bands during competition season that have 150 kids (band and guard combined) and have more full tone quality and dynamic ranges. look at some band videos from USBands Nationals at Metlife Stadium and compare those to this.

Retr0 YT what are you talking about? 6A refers to the size of the high school (number of students). It’s the highest rating for Texas UIL schools. It has nothing to do with quality.
