He literally makes the same justifications as p*dophiles.
He blames the victim, claiming that the feelings were mutual or even that the victim started it and actively wanted it. He claims his feelings are romantic and emotional in nature, and that that somehow makes it better because he âwasnât intending harmâ. He sees it as another variation in attraction, and not as an abuse of his power over the animal.
He ignored or denies or is completely unable to see that the dolphin was primed (groomed, perhaps?) to trust him due to the way the trainer helped him and the dolphin bond when he first when into the pen, and due to the fact that she was a captive dolphin raised to see humans as friends not foe. Of course she wasnât going to swim away - she had learned to trust this guy, which is why children donât run away or fight when the predators who groomed them ultimately abuse them.
Also, his idea that the dolphin seemed happy when they finally had s*x sounds way too close to the justification people use for assault - âthey org*smed, so they must have wanted itâ.
This whole thing is revolting. I donât understand how he can admit to numerous accounts of abusing animals and not be held accountable.
Exactly! Itâs horrifying and he needs to be locked away permanently. The fact that he said he wouldnât even change his feelings shows that he has NO self-awareness or empathy towards the animals heâs abusing.
There was a studied that showed that around 5% of pedophiles admit to also abusing animals sexually in their past so this guy could very well also be a pedophile. Abusers use these excuse but he didn't truly seem sad she died, more like it was just inconvenient. Its fucked up.

I feel bad for the guy who had to make a visual of him and the dolphin. This video made me feel so weird and cringe. Ken and Buff was the only thing that made it bearable. Dolly must've been pretty stressed out and traumatized if she committed suicide.
