They brought an envelop from the doctor's office and handed it to us to open. I had a girl actually ruin a gender reveal once because she confirmed the client's order, "a 6" vanilla cake with white buttercream exterior and blue filling" and the family wasn't supposed to know before the cutting

I was then handed another one as there were too many and still didn't know that I was supposed to look at the colour of the icing. If a family wants to do something small and nice for a gender reveal like letting their children pop a balloon or cutting into a cake then I say go for it. I know lots of families who did it during COVID-19 just to give themselves something to look forward to and something fun to do. I just wish people wouldn't go so extreme with it. Kids getting hurt, fires starting, my goodness...😂
