Doug never under performs. Thanks for all the great content.
Been a question on my mind lately! Thanks so much
Thanks for always helping us Doug we all appreciate it very much.
Very welcome. Glad it helps.
Love our Texas 😊
Silly question but how do you ensure everything mixes well when batch mixing. And can all (chem, water, surfactant) go through downstream injector ok?
Paddle mix or drill paint mixer. And yes
Some it'll mix on the drive.
When we use to batch mix we did this: Add the bleach to the tank. Then once on job, the water. Once the water is getting to the fill level I want, lets say its a 100 Gallon tank. Then once the water hits 90 gallons, I add my soap. As the water continues to fill it mixes the soap. Just keep the water hose down in the tank, past the fluid level to prevent air gaps which cause the soap to sud up and out of the tank. Yes the bleach, water and surfactant can and will all go through the injector. If thats what you were asking.
Hey Doug, I have a DeWalt 4400 PSI 4 GPM Honda GX390 pressure washer and recently got a 20” whirl away surface cleaner. What surface cleaner tips do you recommend for cleaning concrete, stone/masonry and brick respectively?
Also, do you recommend using a surface cleaner with low pressure on wood. I’ve seen some people say yes and others no. Thanks!
2503 or 25035 should work fine. No I would not use a surface cleaner on wood deck unless the wood was in real bad shape
@@PressureCleaningSch thanks Doug. I actually ordered 2503s from your website last night!
@@nathanpagano989 I just packed them. Going out today
@@PressureCleaningSch awesome! Thanks again!
I wash fleets, and one trailer has two 300-gallon tanks and a flatbed that hauls 1650 gallons. Yeah, water is heavy. Lol
Hey Doug. Thank you for such Great informative videos. I am setting up a new equipment and was wondering what you recommended for feeding water from buffer tank to each machine. In other words i have a p40 softwashing, a 5.5 gpm prssure washer for hot water system and a IGX800 10gpm. I have a 1" coming out of my buffer tank. Can I "T" off to each machine or do you recommend having their own individual water line ? I have seen both systems installed on rigs. I am afraid that if I am ever using all 3 machines at the same time, each machine will have trouble drawing water. Any suggestions? Thanks
You think like I do on this. I prefer separate lines for each machine. I tried the other way once and had issues.
Thank you very much for shedding light on this issue sir! We appreciate you very much! @@PressureCleaningSch
When batch mixing, once you're done with a job, what do you do with your remaining mix? I assume just leave it in the tank for the next job but if the next job needs a different mix (or multiple different mix ratios) how do you keep up with the percentages and know exactly what percentage you are at after adding SH or diluting with water if there was already a pre-made mix in there to begin with? Not sure if this makes much sense but had to ask! Thanks!
Yes leave in tank and add bleach or water as needed. No real way to know ratio. Just have to guess really.
@@PressureCleaningSch Thanks, Doug. I appreciate your realism. And thanks for everything you do with this channel it really is quality
@@TREBLEBOOSTER65 well thank you. And your very welcome.
When down-streamin…. You have to add soap to bleach tank correct?? I know there are metering systems for softwash systems but are there anything similar for downstreaming ?
I add soap to bleach tank and downstream from same tank as my soft wash pump. I do not meter my soap ever.
Yes or (my plan) you can make your own metering manifold out of 1/4" or 1/2" or there's a down streamer that has two barbs to draw from.
Thank you for the info. I think I may give the dual barb injector with the metering valve a shot.
@@Spilex10444dual barb, that means you have two barns to stab with a large paper clip to unstick them instead of the frustration of only dealing with one stuck injector.
👍
Do you recommend combining two pressure washers whenever needed for more gpm???
Yes. As long as they both belt drive and psi set at same.
@@PressureCleaningSch thank you sir!
Would it be best to combine the same gpm or can I combine a 5.5 & 8 together?
@@KT-mx3mh nope your good. That’s what I do. Combine my 8&5
I've seen some systems with 12 gallons,20 gallons , 40 gallons , 55 gallons , 100 gallons , 275 gallons . Which one is right?
Depends on the gom machine your using and type of work you do list often. Generally 80, 100, & 225 are the sizes we install most often.
At the price of tires I would wont to haul only what I need
