    I always thrive for the best. So I WISH they (as in everyone on the planet that makes hose reels) would create/build/invent/engineer those feed lines coming into the reel wind area with a bend in them so your hose would initially lye flat against the center drum instead of sticking out like an old lady with stage 9 arthritis in her knuckles. I'm sure I'm not the only one thinking this, right?

      @PressureCleaningSch  Před 2 lety +2

      Yes like Christopher said add a 45 street elbow and it will
      Lay flatter but you’ll need to direct connect to it. Won’t fit as well if you use QC fittings like I do.

    • @PressureCleaningSch
      @PressureCleaningSch  Před 2 lety

      Yes a whip hose. We have them in all lengths do it just depends on how far your machine from your reel. www.dougruckerstore.com/products/4000-psi-whip-line-connector/

    Why do you put the pressure washing hose on top?

    • @PressureCleaningSch
      @PressureCleaningSch  Před 2 lety

      Hose is the heaviest so I like it be level with my arms so I don't have to bend down. Also I always put the garden hose on the lower reel, 1) its the first hose to reel out 2) because I want the tank filling and the other hose on top of it

    I've been checking out the hannay and kings hose reels on your website. Which is best for softwash?
    A reel that isn't a rust bucket since 50/50 is a hot mix.

    • @PressureCleaningSch
      @PressureCleaningSch  Před 2 lety

      For soft wash both are going to be about the same. Kings come with SS manifold, Hannay Have to special order SS Manifold. I have neither in stock but can the Kings pretty quick, the Hannay takes a couple weeks. I really like the Valley Industries hose reel for soft wash though, no manifold and they out last anything with a SS manifold. I have those in stock. Just know with Kings, Hannay, Titan, etc, even w a SS manifold the bleach will eventually eat through it, so then you just use the reel for storage and bypass the manifold.

  • @havefaithpressurewashingse7272

    I got a question? I just purchased a electric hose reel , my question is how or where do I ground the Solenoid at ? I don’t have a skid I have a end closed trailer. Is there anywhere to ground it at ?

    • @PressureCleaningSch
      @PressureCleaningSch  Před rokem +1

      If you mount the solenoid to the metal reel and the metal reel to the metal skid, then the battery should be grounded to the skid. I prefer to run a ground from the battery to one of the mounting bolts on the solenoid. May be a little over kill but minimizes the chance of an open circuit due to corrosion later. I seen that you like and sell the flexzilla pro 1/2 air hose as a soft wash hose. I’m a beginner and I’m trying to figure out what hoses to get. Does it matter that it’s an air hose since we will be using it for water and chemicals. Also would I use a 1/2 air hose reel and would I have to change out the fitting.

    • @PressureCleaningSch
      @PressureCleaningSch  Před 2 lety

      Doesn't matter that it's air hose, I have been using to for it for a couple years no problems. I would not use an air hose reel for spraying liquids, especially chemicals.

    • @PressureCleaningSch
      @PressureCleaningSch  Před 2 lety +2

      Not really. The manifolds are SS and will hold up better to corrosive chemicals. But eventually the manifold will fail just like all other brands w SS manifolds. Just the nature of the beast.
