In this video, I discuss the first 10 things you NEED to do after joining eXp Realty. When you join eXp Realty, you are given all sorts of tools, training, and resources.
Here's what I recommend you do FIRST to make sense of it all!
Login to eXp Enterprise Dashboard:
Username and password sent by email
Attend eXp Agent Orientation:
eXpWorld - 4pm CST every Wednesday and 2pm CST every Thursday
Setup kvCORE:
Upload Database list from Facebook friends, phone contacts, & old database (if applicable)
Training - Within the kvCORE dashboard, click "Learning Portal" in the bottom left. Take all 5 courses, CORE quick start, kvCORE property boost, A simple social media posting protocol that generates leads & referrals, Inside real estate PPC Advertising Tour, & kvCORE Wordpress Plugin.
Facebook Workplace:
Fill out your profile 100%, headshot, short bio, contact info, etc...
Join Private groups (eXp Water Cooler Chat, (Your State) group, kvCORE Discussion, Real Estate 101, eXp Referral Network, The Brent Gove Organization
Follow Key eXp Agents (Tom Truong, Sam Rodriguez, Brad Andersohn, Julie Nelson, Hank Avink, Gabe LeBeau, Brent Gove, Pat Hays, Jay Kinder, Elizabeth Riley, Gene Frederick, Traci Lewis, Scott Lewis, Kirtus Dixon, and myself)
SEARCH or ASK questions here FIRST
Request Business Cards & yard signs:
eXpEnterprise Dashboard - "Download Logo, Order Business Cards, & more" - "business cards" - read instructions
Yard signs - google "buildasign exp" - order from there. Better price in my opinion
Change ALL Social Profiles
Update Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, & LinkedIn

Very helpful video!! I’m joining with EXP in august and I wanted to get an idea of exactly where all the training and classes will be! I do have a question or two- are the live training/classes recorded where I can go back and watch a replay since I am still working full time in a different field? Also regarding using regus offices , would that be anytime any hour any day I can use the office like a walk in to any location? Can I invite clients there also to meet me? Thanks!!
Hey April! Congrats on joining eXp! A good amount of the live classes are recorded and uploaded into Workplace so you can watch later. Regus locations are open during normal business hours. Most are usually 9-5ish. You can invite clients but would need to rent a private office for around $25-40/hour as the shared spaces are supposed to be quiet zones. If I ever meet a client "in-office" I just pay for an hour and that usually is all I need.

Yes. You can and should put your headshot on those free business cards.
how easy is training and information learned and held for new agents that had no success from their current brokerage? Do clueless new agents on transactions in home listing/buyers processes get going fast on their own?

Hey there! You do need to pay your association before kvCORE. It uses and IDX feed to populate your kvCORE site and that comes from you association.
Do I need another dialer such as Mojo dialer as well? or Kvcore has that integrated in to it?
kvCORE's mobile app has an integrated dialer for calling leads that enter the system! But other dialers like Mojo and REDX can be used for generating new leads and cold calling.
I am currently in school. I'm sure I will come across this information before I get to that point, but is NAR the only association we need to join or do we need to join a local association as well?
Hey Sarah! Yes, you’ll likely need to join a local board. Especially for residential sales. This will give you access to the MLS and the ability to access lockboxes in your area.
I signed my ICA with EXP and reached out to my broker to initiate my license transfer, but haven't heard back. how long does this usually take?
Usually 24-72 hours depending on state. Have you contacted your sponsor to let them know and see if they can help move things along?
My enterprise login is not working for Skyslope. what should I do?

I'd say most of this info is still very accurate to do. There might have been a few extra things you can do since then (i.e. healthcare, Express Offers certiciation) but I'd say all else is still worth doing.
How can I connect my personal site to be linked with my Kvcore site?
Just add a link in the menu bar on your personal site to the URL of your kvCORE site.

Quickest easiest, most accurate way to transfer contacts to kvCore from an iPhone? What do you recommend?
Download your contacts to excel via iCloud. Then upload the excel file to kvCORE.
Do they still offer the free business cards?
Yes. 500 of them.
Does KVCore give you access to the MLS?
It’s the other way around. You need MLS access to be able to feed your kVCORE website the listings.

Hi Paco, the initial fee to join in the U.S. is $149, and then it's $85 per month after that.
How do you do this without a Facebook account? I don't have a Facebook account nor do I want to make one. Would I have to leave eXp for a different brokerage over this?
Are you referring to eXp Workplace by Facebook? If so, that’s a whole separate account. eXp creates it for you when you join the company.

What does Skysloap actually do?
It’s where you upload all your contract documents to. It also provides a checklist of docs you need to turn in for a completed file. Finally it’s the link between you and Exp’s transaction coordinators who are able to review the documents once they are uploaded.
Ok well we will probably meet. Sometime because I'm planning on breaking records. In fact as soon as I get squared away. I'm throwing down the gauntlet and challenging everyone at ExP to a sales contest. Believe me you all better bring your A game I'm I'm bringing mine. That's right starting from scratch. You all can use your years of influence call in all your tabs I'm still going to kick your A__!
I like to hang at S. Padre Island, usually one of the resort Hotels like Grand Isle, Pearl. When I'm all caught up with this your not that far away, do you have your own plane? I'll let you know when I'm there and if your not committed? WTF? You have to what I like to call get a perspective. It helps me to recapture the intensity of my project. Whatever it happens to be. I find myself needing to not only pursue something but to conserve time. Thanks.
