Are you trying to decide between eXp Realty and Keller Williams for your real estate career? Don't pull the trigger until you watch this video!
In this video, I will compare and contrast these two real estate giants to see which is the right choice for you.
We'll start with the basics. eXp Realty is a cloud-based real estate brokerage that allows agents to work remotely from anywhere in the world. Keller Williams is a traditional real estate brokerage that allows agents to work in traditional offices.
Next, we'll look at the compensation. eXp Realty offers agents a revenue-sharing model that allows them to earn a percentage of the company's profits. Keller Williams offers agents a more traditional commission-based model.
We'll also look at the training and support offered by each company. eXp Realty offers agents access to a wide range of webinars, podcasts, and other training materials. Keller Williams offers its agents access to local and regional training and support resources.
Finally, we'll look at the overall culture of each company. eXp Realty is known for its forward-thinking, technology-driven approach to real estate. Keller Williams has a more traditional focus on providing agents with quality service and customer

We are with eXp and it's been a great decision but this is such an individual choice for what's best for your business. Some ppl just like going to a brick and mortar and having a manager there and colleagues, etc.. It gives them structure and nothing wrong with that. I like eXp as I'm still selling real estate, that never changed, but I added 2 other streams of income. Again that's what was best for me. We never put down other brokerages and companies and not everyone in eXp is wearing a halo. Anyone reading this and considering eXp, be super diligent on choosing your sponsor. You would want consistent support from your upline and everyone connected with it. Best wishes and hope to see you on this side.
Absolutely true! Thanks for the comment. Glad to be partners with you here at eXp!
How can I find a sponsor?
@The GLOBAL OPPORTUNITY How did you choose your sponsor at Exp?
I greatly appreciate what you had to say. Thank you!!
Do you recommend EXP for part time agents
What a great timing to post this! We're currently in between the two! This is very helpful
Awesome Gabriel! I hope it helps. Let me know if you have any further questions.
Watch also explained by some one who is at KW allready. this is an eXp video
I know its a year later but can I ask who you went with and why? And how is that working out for you?
Hi, I'm with eXp Realty of CT. Very nice & well explained. Thank you for sharing this, now I can talk to my friend in KW, and I know the differences between both companies. I left KW because I was attracted to the revenue share, however, I have learned a lot more from you and now I feel more confident to talk to my KW friends. Thank you so much.
YAMI GLEZ - Appreciate That! 😀🤝🔥
Kyle, well done as always - looking forward to meeting you some day, in person or virtual. I respect the work you're doing.
Thanks for that! Likewise. Hopefully we’ll be able to do in person events again soon.
Can’t believe how perfect the timing is for me to find your channel and this video. I just passed my test in San Antonio earlier this week and was just telling my fiancé how I wish I could find a video EXACTLY like this. THANK YOU!!!
Awesome Thomas! You're welcome. Glad it could help. Congrats on passing your test. If you'd like to schedule a time to talk with me about eXp in detail (if you're not already working with someone), use my link here: calendly.com/kylehandy/zoomcall
How are you today?
Kyle, THANK YOU. I just became an Agent and I SO appreciate you man. Who knows maybe one day I’ll meet you. Blessings!
Hey Terence! You bet. That would be awesome. Same to you.
Thank you for this video! I really needed to hear this! This helped me with making a decision on which way to go. I'm coming in as a new agent and was not sure where I wanted to go. After watching this video KW it is!
Glad it was helpful!
I personally think Exp is best for seasoned or experienced agents. KW is usually the better choice for new, beginning agents.
I agree with you for the most part. However I do believe new agents can thrive at eXp and take advantage of all the training, resources, and mentorship program eXp offers, however you need to be self-motivated.
I agree, I personally chose exp after watching this specific video. I went on an interview the week before w/ KW after doing extensive homework on who to choose. I was going to go KW but watched this and haven’t looked back. That was April 2022, I have my 1st closing next week and 4 deals working.
Totally disagree. KW is like a factory that gives no help to new agents at all. I dropped them after 6 months because the NYC tech guy Alex, never called me back to help with any system problems. Also, gen Z at front desk are so busy talking among themselves, they don't want anything to do with agents walking in and needing help. So disappointed with this company. Run Far Away!
@@christinerona5765 I am a new agent and JUST LEFT KW yesterday! They dropped the ball right out of the gate by their consistent lack of communication!!! I had SUCH HOPE joining KW. I'm glad I have had the the good sense to walk away. I hope all brokerages are not like this! I'm currently looking for another brokerage. I don't think ExP is for me at this time as I need a real body.
@@christinerona5765That's not indicative of KW as a company but any means. Each office is a franchise and not owned by KW. All you have to do is contact the owner of the franchise and let them know and they will do something about that but I understand from your pov that that is what you experienced. Too bad. It's a great company overall and had the best training in the world. They do have TONS of training so maybe you didn't pay attention in orientation and chose to ignore it.
For me as a new agent eXp was not the best choice and I’m looking into partnering with Keller Williams. I certainly believe that eXp may be beneficial to experienced agents. Thanks for your thorough review.
Compass might be a better choice. KW will not help new agents. They just want your monthly fees. I just dropped them.....
@@christinerona5765
Really? Can you share a little more about KW?
Also, someone told me Compass doesn’t hire new agents?
Yeah, I’m with exp, new agent but I feel like I’m going to switch to KW since the I feel exp is better for seasoned agents!
i think you did a FANTASTIC job -- thanks for the unbiased opinions and also took a lot of WORK!
Much appreciated McKenna!
This was a very informative video for me as I have just starting my KSCORE real estate classes with Keller Williams and was considering going with them. However, my co worker have me his card and he is with EXP Realty. After watching you video I am considering EXP more once I am licensed.
That's awesome! Let me know if you have any questions
Hi Kyle, thank you for this video, Very informative !
How many years of experience you had before joining eXp? And what company where you at before eXp?

@@KyleHandy hi Kyle! Are you able to get on a call soon?
Hi Kyle! I am in the process of getting my license and will be ready to roll by June. I was considering Redfin to gain experience and zero prospecting. I have a family to support, so being able to get clients sent my way, right away is a plus. The downside is the comp structure. What would you say to a newbie like me that loves to work hard and the hustle, but concerned about the prospecting aspect of Real Estate and growing that pipeline to support my family right away?
If you like the hustle and to work hard, then in my opinion you’ll like the limitless opportunity that an eXp brokerage provides. Redfin is a lot like being a buyers agent on a team. It’s great for people looking for a consistent “managed” income. But for the amount of work you do as an agent, it soon becomes not enough long term. If you’re willing to take a bit more risk and know you have solid work ethic, it’s usually better just to go all-in from the start and build your business as your business day 1!
How are you today???
Emily give us an update!
Hi Kyle, great video but some of the information you gave about KW is out dated. If you would like up to date information on KW I am available to speak with you. Again nice video!!
Awesome Paul! I appreciate it. Anything in particular that stood out? I may take you up on that.
Good afternoon and I am interested in the update. Nuff Respect
Hey,
Any advice on someone who is looking to get into real estate? What company would you go with and why?
Hey Vikki! Check out my latest video: czcams.com/video/j1EFjBkV1AE/video.html I think it will answer your question!
Great videos really enjoy your content!! I just passed my Texas exam very interested in joining. Based on your video I would need to start in the eXpand Mentor Program, how do I connect with a great mentor in north Dallas area? Suggestions? Thank you
Hey Kirk! eXp will assign one to you. You can also get with the person who’s going to sponsor you to do a little research within workplace to see if they can find you one that’s recommended rather than assigned.
Currently I'm about 80% though my real estate course with the CE shop in AZ. I still feel like I need help with memorizing a lot of the material so that I can pass the exam but I have no access to any real help at this time. EXP realty looks very interesting :)
Study, study, study! You got this!
Have you taken the test yet? If so, how did it go? I’m using the CE shop to prepare for the exam as well.
I'm debating which to join. also debating whether to join a team or be independent. I just passed my Sales Associate test and I'm new to this realty world.
I would probably go with eXp. I regret not taking more time interviewing brokerages, but I knew I did not want to join KW. I recommend going as a solo agent so you take more commissions; Depending on your experience, however.
Great feedback Louis. Jay, good luck! By now I hope you're finding some success since this comment. Depends on your skillset for team vs independent. Both can be great options.
this is some great information, thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it!
I’m a part time agent in San Antonio at a smaller brokerage but they don’t really offer me anything in the form of training or resources. This video peaked my interest in exp. Can I book a call with you to answer some questions before I make a decision on staying or leaving my brokerage?
Ok, I found you and now I’m binge watching all your videos. 🙈Great content, thank you! KW tried recruiting me when I was newly licensed. I just didn’t feel it was for me as a newer agent at the time, I felt lost with all the information they were giving me all at once.
Agreed! Glad you are enjoying the content. Thank you for the comments!
Yes I’m here to stay, I’ve struck gold! Thank you 🙏

Hey Luis! Yes, you can. There are some limitations but in general eXp does allow this! Good luck.
I started my courses 2 weeks ago and since before I started I knew I wanted to join EXP my problem is choosing with who in EXP to signed with as there is a lot of ppl I have my eyes on and all offer different benefits.
It's definitely important to choose the sponsor that you believe will best help grow your business.
Great job, Kyle!
Thanks Amy!
What happens to your mentor after you've done your 3 deals with eXp? Is there someone local available to contact if you have a question or problem? You forgot that for the mentorship program, each company requires you to pay a percentage of your commission to your mentor on all your deals while in the mentorship program. But great video and I appreciate all your free advice you give.
I thought he mentioned for the first 3 transactions it's 60/40 then it becomes 80/20 I'm assuming you receive the lesser for the first 3 transactions because of the mentor program
@@keanuyt5327 i thought it was 70/10/20 split for mentors
Keanu is correct. 80/20 to eXp and 20 to mentor program for first three deals. Out of that 20% to the mentor program, 10% goes to the mentor. But as far as you the agent you receive 60/40 for those first three deals.
Best compare video. Thanks

Hi Kyle, I've completed all 6 courses and am studying to take my licensing exam in just a couple of weeks so am now deciding which brokerage to start with. This video was very helpful, thank you. You are definitely on my short list if I decide to start out with EXP. I live here in San Antonio also. I do have so many questions about how the teams work and will I get the undivided attention when I need it most? I am very detailed, have high standards for myself and those I work with, and want to grow my business quickly. Would you as my team leader (and someone who is probably super busy) be too busy to contact when needed? I know we are assigned a mentor but don't really have control over who we are assigned to. So many questions, haha!
No answer back....that is a concern. All is good I'm sure you're busy. I think I will start my career with KW and get the intensive training and successful team around me - in person. Maybe later I will switch to EXP but I am extremely worried about not enough mentorship and accountability in the beginning, when I need it most. Just passed my exam yesterday!! Excited to get started and hit the ground running.

SugaShane - Appreciate That! 😀🤝🔥
I have been in real estate for 20 years and I have never experienced such a bad taste for another brokerage. The exp agents I have dealt within 3 of the markets I cover seem very detached from the business, inexperienced and rude. Furthermore, ever since they got a hold of my information from a mutual transaction; they have been calling non stop trying to recruit members of my team or me to switch over. There have been days that I get up to 7 calls from different exp agents trying to book a recruiting call. Truly annoying. Why not just sell real estate, there is enough business to go around.
Ivan, I am so sorry that happened to you. That is not who we are. That's over-zealous to be sure. Please accept my apologies.
Sorry you’ve have that experience with eXp. There are definitely bad apples at all brokerages. I could say the same thing about recruiting calls/messages from dozens of brokerages trying to recruit me. I just say next and move on. But I will also say there are a lot of great individuals within this company and others. Just gotta choose wisely who you let into your life. I agree with you about there being enough business to go around! Take care Ivan! Thanks Karen for the response as well.
I want to add on that, Toronto market EXP agents are the BIGGEST SHARKS . just this month in 2022 ive been approached by 3 !! why ...
@@KyleHandy I can agree. I am an exp realtor only 2 years in and I get call from tons of realestate companies about switching.. very frustrating.
That hasn't been my experience.
Kyle, if you were a new agent today, and knowing what you know about EXP and KW, which brokerage would you choose and feel would have greater success?
Armando, great question! Knowing what I know now, I'd 100% join eXp. I learn everything online as it is. Have a physical office is no benefit to me. I love the culture of eXp and the camaraderie. I couldn't imagine passing up all the extra income opportunity for the years ahead running all my sales through KW instead of eXp. Once you start selling many homes, it adds up to quite a lot.
@@KyleHandy is this still your answer?
Yup. 1000%

Hello, just passed my state exam and this is all confusing. We learn about laws and contracts but not about brokers. I don’t even know where to start. I know someone who works for eXp in my town but we are not actually friends so I can’t ask her what it’s like. Does eXp have more freedom? How about contracts? Is there a transaction coordinator? What if we can’t or do not recruit anyone in eXp? No matter how much I read or watch videos it still seems scary. How do you join a broker? Apply or just tell a broker you’re interested? I did things a bit unorthodox. I never worked for a broker. I took my test and passed without one. Also I have looked into places like Pulte or M/I which are new home sales. 😓.

Being brand new. If I decided to join eXp realty what are the pros and cons for working on a team rather than independently? Also if going in part time which would be best to do? Team or independent?
I’m with eXp as a new agent too. I am on Game changers with Aj Mida. I can tell you the team atmosphere is amazing with eXp. You won’t really get “leads” but it really is like being part of a family. Love my choice so far
Love hearing that Brandy! AJ’s a good friend of mine. Glad to hear you’re enjoying it here at eXp!
Most “team” teams don’t allow part-time agents. However, at eXp you can join someone’s “revenue share” team and get support, training, and collaboration for free. The difference between a “team” team and a revenue share team is the investment the team leader makes in you specifically. Typically on a “team” team you’ll get leads, maybe a physical office, shadowing. They invest in you financially and time. You’ll owe an extra split to the team leader. Typically they don’t take part-time agents because it’s harder to see a return on their investment. Let me know if that helps.
Great video Kyle! I appreciate the detailed breakdown of the two brokerages. I recently passed my state exam in NYC and have been stuck on choosing between the two but seeing how accessible EXP is in a remote setting is what’s appealing to me. So is the $85 monthly fee the only out of pocket fee when joining EXP? Also do you happen to have a video or information on how to setup a real estate business entity and what can be written off during taxes? Thanks again Kyle!
Hey just wanted to see how’s it going for you? I’m also in NYC
You pay $149 startup then $85 on your second month and thereafter. www.kylehandy.com/blog/learn/tax-deductions-for-real-estate-agents/
So you can go in exp solo and not on team? If so why would you choose to go in solo rather than joining a team?
Yes. You can join solo or on a team. A team typically charges an additional split in exchange for additional value (leads, office, etc). Solo you only pay the eXp split of 80/20.
Great question. I am going to take my test this weekend and have to find a broker when I pass. Exp seems great but finding a good leader seems hard. With an office at least you can meet the people. It's a hard choice

In California, going through real estate courses (135 hours 😖) leaning towards EXP and this video was very helpful.

Just think in Texas we have 180 hours and math lol. Good luck!!
I'm in Ohio, we have to do 120 hours. Best of wishes on your real estate journey!
I heard a horror story about a new agent joining a KW team near Seattle. The team required her to provide three leads from her sphere per month. She provided three friends who were ready to buy and did buy right away. These clients were assigned to experienced agents on the team. The new agent got three pitiful referral fees. Then she went home to India for a month to see family. When she returned, she learned she was on probation for not having provided another three leads.
That’s a common thing I hear among teams. Definitely something you’d want to know going into the deal.
@@christopherputegnat7228 Not publicly traded yet, I gather?
@@christopherputegnat7228 I left eXp last year for 9 months - tempted away by some friends who started an indie brokerage - lost out on a lot of money because of it, returned, and won’t be leaving again. Canzell looks decent, but eXp is the first mover in this space and not likely to be overtaken. There will be plenty of pickings for both in the break up of the old franchise systems.

Does keller williams assign new company owned cell phone numbers to their realtors? Meaning, would you be able to keep that number if you are no longer working for KW?
The policy regarding company-owned cell phone numbers and whether you can keep them if you leave Keller Williams (KW) can vary depending on the specific arrangement between the agent and the brokerage. To get a clear answer, it's advisable to review your specific contract or agreement with Keller Williams, and if necessary, consult with the brokerage's HR or administrative department. Additionally, you can discuss this with your cell phone service provider to understand the options available for number portability.
Thank you for not selling me anything. I hate when i look for this information and you can tell which brokerage the agent in the video works for.
Glad it helped!
Hi, Kyle. I just passed my real estate exam last week. I watched your youtube video and found really helpful. Is the eXp good for new agent? Even tho I know the mentorship program, does it really help? and since if you maybe as sponsor of me, who will be my directly broker for my active license, and training me as well? Thank you for your time, maybe we can have a chat? I am in Houston, TX.
Hey Katrina! This message slipped through the cracks. Sorry for the late response. If you’re still interested, I would be happy to have a chat. Here’s my zoom calendar link. calendly.com/kylehandy/zoomcall
Also, I believe eXp is one of the best brokerages for new agents. You need to be a self-starter as it is with real estate with any brokerage. At least with eXp you get many tools, support, and training to help you be successful if you put in the work.

This is a great question. I am going through the same right now. Like I mentioned in a different comment I am taking my exam this weekend. I need to find a broker asap. I live in the east coast. Do you you have any openings for a chat after 4pm Eastern time?
You bet! Setup a time here. calendly.com/kylehandy/zoomcall
Excellent presentation.
Glad you found it helpful!
There are some aspects to this that is not correct. KW E&O doesn’t come out of every transaction and I would like to see the numbers of the “same” transactions with EXP vs KW
Hey Nikki, thanks for the comment. True. Every KW market center is a franchise so they can have different policies. I'm using the most typical scenario based on the agents I spoke with when creating this piece. What do you mean in "see the numbers"?
Thank you so much for this video, do you have an eXp contact for me in Boca Raton?
Hey Asika, head over to my partner page and I’ll get a call setup with you! www.kylehandy.com/partner/
I live in a condo and am restricted on having an office in my home, where would I hang my license ?
Are you a broker? Because the brokers hold the licenses
I’m assuming the association just means you can’t run business out of your condo. You can still do work there. I never have clients show up to my house but work out of it. As far as meeting clients, I meet buyer clients at Starbucks, the first home they want to see, lender/title offices, Regus (if you have those near you). If seller, I meet them at their home.
On the front entrance of the condo. Lol
Does exp pay for you to get your license?
eXp Realty typically does not cover the cost of obtaining your real estate license. In most cases, individuals interested in becoming real estate agents are responsible for the expenses associated with pre-licensing courses, exams, and licensing fees. However, it's essential to check with the specific eXp Realty office or team you are interested in joining, as policies may vary from one location to another. Some offices or teams may offer reimbursement or assistance with these costs as part of their recruitment packages. Make sure to clarify these details when considering eXp Realty as your brokerage.
I just passed my GA exam two days ago. And I been hearing about eXp. As a new new agent should you go with eXp
eXp has great resources for new agents!
I passed my GA exam a couple of months ago and I chose eXp reality. It’s been great for me!
@@MrMharris1990 I am a new agent and trying to choose a brokerage. Are you still liking eXp? Do you get enough mentorship? Do you get any help as far as generating leads? Thank you
Exp sounds interesting, but all this sort of sounds like MLM in a way with recruiting and levels in their organizations, being rewarded for adding people.
Hey Lindsay! I did an in-depth video discussing whether eXp is an MLM or Pyramid scheme. You can check it out here: czcams.com/video/9WtnnxXEmJg/video.html
@@KyleHandy hey Kyle! I’ve been a part of MLM’s and know they aren’t pyramid schemes. Pyramid schemes are illegal, but MLM’s can be lucrative for all involved and the products very good. However when it comes to real estate I wouldn’t want it to be so much about recruiting, I’d want it to be about helping clients. Because recruiting for additional income is a huge part of MLM’s (how you make that money while you sleep), it sounds like exp does a similar thing and that makes me uninterested.
Does kw has $149.00 joining fee and 85$ monthly fee? What are the monthly fees for kw.
Hey Branden, because KW is a franchise based model they are independently owned so their joining fees and monthly fees can vary. You would need to contact the KW market center you are considering joining.
@@KyleHandy thank you
KW does the BOLD class like once a year. They really push you to take it and some of the agents had taken it a dozen times exclaiming "Im 12 Times Bold!" It was like $700 to take and just felt like a cash grab. They claim that it pays for itself because you'll get deals while taking it. One thing they tell you right off is call 100 people you know and discuss real estate with them. I can do that and keep my $700. I'm already bombarded with people soliciting me for services to the point that my email is crowded and I can't even answer my phone. I just felt like it was another thing trying to take money away from me.
Do you know if any of your mentors or agents are sub2 students
No. None that I know.
What's your gross dollar production each year?
Mine or eXp Realty's? I typically sell between $10-15M per year. Hope that helps. If you want more in-depth info on my #'s they are all posted on my income report on my website. Good luck!
This is great information
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching!
Is exp investor friendly if you have your real estate license.
In what way? I'd say yes but there are some things that eXp doesn't allow. But in general if, as an investor, you're doing everything above board on standard forms and such, you shouldn't have any issue.
@@KyleHandy if i wholesale or flip properties on the side?
They don’t want you doing anything on the side “outside of exp”.
@@KyleHandy thanks
Jason Bible aka Mr. Texas Real Estate is a very well known investor & build his real estate team with EXP. The reality is no brokerage is going to “want” you to wholesale but as long as you are following the law & protecting yourself then you should be fine. I am also an investor & EXP made the most sense for my business model.
Which firm is better for part-time people?
I would say eXp when choosing between the two. Just because of the ability to get access to training and support on demand without having to go into an office. If you're considering a move, DM me and we can talk more!
@@KyleHandy thank you for the information, whats the best way to dm you
It happens that I had just spoke to an eXP sponsor today. The question is, how do find the best sponsor for me? Great video Kyle. Thanks.
The way the eXp ICA reads you choose the person who most influenced your decision to join eXp. This could also be interpreted as whoever you feel could benefit your business the most. Let me know if you want to jump on a call. calendly.com/kylehandy/zoomcall
How did it go? Did you make the switch
What are E & O fees??
Errors and omissions insurance.
Do you have to join a team with eXp?
No, you do not have to join a team when you become an eXp Realty agent. eXp Realty offers both individual agent and team options, allowing you to choose the structure that best fits your preferences and business goals.
You can work as an independent agent, build your own team, or join an existing team within eXp Realty. The flexibility to make this choice is one of the advantages of eXp Realty, and it allows you to tailor your real estate career to your specific needs and aspirations.
Whether you prefer the independence of working solo or the collaboration and support of a team, eXp Realty offers options to accommodate your choice. Feel free to explore the different options and decide what aligns with your vision and objectives in real estate.
I would like to talk to you about joining exp. I’ll finish school next week.
Awesome! I'd love to. Book a time on my zoom calendar here: calendly.com/kylehandy/zoomcall
Well done
Thanks!
and we have an office in Georgina, Ontario Canada
Awesome! How are things going?
How can I advertise my property to rent ?
Are you licensed? Which brokerage are you with? Are you simply doing the listing or property management as well? Need more info.
I’m a private landlord I need a good site I will advertise my property for rent
Craigslist / Facebook Marketplace.
Craigslist isn’t working for me them keep frag my posts
I recommend you to hire VA
Do you think this is biased because you work with EXP and you make income by bringing agents in to your company
Sure. I even mention this at the beginning of the video. However, much of what I speak about on the video is based on the facts. I try to leave my opinion out as much as possible and compare different components of the two business models. I hope you found it helpful. Thanks for the comment.
Thats a video for eXp , you can make one for KW also it would be fair for everyone not to be biased , cos you know your at eXp :) its logical
Thanks for the comment. Sorry you feel the video is biased. I shared as much factual information as I have access to. At the end I share my opinion on both companies while clearly stating which brokerage I’m at.

eXp!
I just passed my licensure exams and am looking to sign with an eXp brokerage. I've interviewed with remax, kw, several eXp, several Crye-Leike, and mostly all the eXp brokerages stood out and resonated with me. I found it odd that KW is so religious (I'm definitely NOT), so I'd like to separate religion and work.
Thank you for watching Naomi! I'm glad you found it helpful
Just passed my license test in Texas. I’m moving to Austin and my intention of getting the license was just a tool as an investor. And it’ll be nice to have some support and a few clients to represent. But I’ve always thought 6% sort of market commission is ridiculous. All the real estate I bought I found the properties, did the due diligence. Agents just wrote up the sales contracts that’s it. And it’s even easier to sell a house especially in a crazy market like Austin. Only thing is sales prices aren’t public in Texas. While I understand all the marketings, brokerage fees, team splits are expensive, do you think the Industry put too much emphasis and effort on selling to other agents, clients instead of actual houses? Agents are spending 80% of time selling non value add activities, and only 20% of time selling the products that actually bring clients values. If we can eliminate non value add activities, we can reduce the commission drastically and real estate becomes more liquid therefore more transactions.
I apologize for the long ass question and my opinion. Anyway love the video and I will try interviewing both KW and exp.
Alot of what you say is certainly valid. It's tough to change an industry that's been this way for nearly 100 years though. I'm sure it'll change but people keep saying that for the last 10 years (specificallY) with tech offerings coming about but it's still not overall changed much. Only time will tell when commissions will change. Good luck in the biz! Let me know if I can be of any help, should you decide to make the move to eXp.
Do you think eXp will keep growing at this fast rate?
Hey Jeremy! I actually think we'll start to grow faster. We just opened 5 new countries and are gaining traction and recognition globally. That'll increase agent count and further establish our brand which will in turn grow US faster, in my opinion. Also, if we see a turn in the housing market (which is inevitable) many small independent brokerages will start to have to look closer at eXp to stay in business and allow them to build what they are trying to build as an independent but under a major brand. Just my 2 cents.
@@KyleHandy I agree I think eXp will keep growing!
No doubt. There's essentially no rational reason to choose any franchise office over eXp. 2020 showed us the future of work.
So true!
