THE VAMPIRE DIARIES 7×14 - Official Synopsis:
In order to lure a vengeful vampire hunter named Rayna Cruz (guest star Leslie-Anne Huff) away from his friends in Mystic Falls, Stefan (Paul Wesley) heads to New Orleans, where Valerie (guest star Elizabeth Blackmore) has learned of a safe house that can protect him. Once there, he comes face to face with Klaus Mikaelson (guest star Joseph Morgan), who soon becomes suspicious of his old friend’s unexpected arrival in his city. Meanwhile, Enzo (Michael Malarkey), who is working on behalf of a mysterious organization called The Armory, approaches Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Bonnie (Kat Graham) with a plan that could protect Stefan from Rayna. Finally, after learning that Alaric (Matt Davis) has decided to leave for Dallas with the twins immediately, Caroline (Candice King) offers to accompany them on the trip and finds herself contemplating her own future in Mystic Falls. @@stephanie154 -their friendship was one of the best friendships on the show and i was really sad and mad after they ruined it. i really don't like stefan and caroline as lovers, i don't see the chemistry between paul and candice in a romantic way. they just don't give me the vibe after all those seasons as bestfriends.
-i think their relationship is very forced. like after damon died at the end of season 5 stefan left and when he came back to town suddenly caroline was mad at him for leaving and she says she hates him for this because if she doesn't hate him, she'll hate herself for having feelings for him and she thinks she deserves better than that. like what is caroline's logic here? it was not stefan's fault that she fell in love with him like stefan didn't do anything for caroline to love him, he was just her friend but she took everything some other way. so stefan felt like if she has feelings for him, then he should try to have feelings for her more than friendly. he didn't fall in love with her even when he tried like i don't know how to tell but what i'm saying i think stefan felt a lot of pressure. even after their first kiss, stefan didn't see her as more than friends and he said this to her and she wanted to feel nothing after it and she shut it off. yes one of the reasons why she shut it off was her mother's death but if stefan's feelings for caroline were as what she wanted she wasn't gonna turn it off. elena confirmed that. and i think caroline was a lot better character than this. i mean she became that little girl in season 1 somehow in my opinion. also liz's death was an excuse for steroline to happen. they got closer to that time and it was so meaningless that caroline spent her time with stefan when her mom died. liz's death was pulled off for steroline because otherwise they wouldn't know how to develop stefan and caroline as romantically.
-stefan was pushed by others for having a relationship with caroline. he asks damon's advice about what he shoul do. like he's really asking damon? if he wasn't sure about caroline and asking others, that doesn't seem like true love to me. also damon says ''she's not the one.'' for stefan.
-at season 7 they start dating yeah ofc she loves him and he loves her. then things happen stefan leaves to save twins, he gets marked by rayna for damon and all this time their relationship was off again. i think caroline didn't even care that much about stefan all that time when he was gone. like there was always something missing.
-at season 8, i remember there was a scene where stefan says to caroline what future they can have? he doubted. yes because he was human and he felt so guilty about everything he has done but i think there was some dilemma in stefan's head again.
-caroline says she deserves the same respects that stefan showed elena but stefan doesn't give it to her.
-stefan always puts damon first over caroline. of course damon's is his brother and he's his family so it's what he should do but by that i think he never put caroline first.
-caroline knows stefan's soulmate was elena. she says that to him when elena was in a coma at the hospital. and stefan says that elena was his soulmate. i don't know if people can have a soulmate more than once but even if they do i think caroline was never stefan's soulmate.
i just wanted to write down all the reasons why they weren't good of a couple and why they didn't make that much sense to me and after all those reasons i can never see them as soulmates. i can probably count more but it already is too long and i'm sorry. these are my opinions and what i saw from the show. hope you understand my point even if you don't agree and i'd like to know your answer to this.

The fact that klaus would die trying to protect Caroline and Stefan throwing everything good he has with Caroline for his brother just shows the pure Love that klaus has for Caroline.
I don't get that why the hell Stefan and damon didn't took help from Klaus to get Lilly and her family out from there town.

@@shritejkawadkar9356 yes it does it’s the grand scheme of things. He ended up forcing Damon to become a vampire when he was willing to die instead. Stefan died a human so Damon could live the life Stefan took from him. It’s the ultimate sacrifice and it’s beautiful
The fact that after all the time passed Klaus still loved Caroline is really special to me. It’s clear that he was the one for her, as much as I love Stefan he should’ve listened to Klaus here.

No neither of them were in the stage of the writing. Stefan chose Damon and Klaus chose Hope. It was only natural in the way the characters were portrayed.

I think that Klaus loved both Care and Cami he met them in a different time and Care was young and crazy she was a teenager, but Cami was a mature woman and helped Klaus and his family and you wonder why Caroline didn’t have feelings for him? At the time when he was in Mystic Falls he was a villain and hurt most of her friends that’s why she acted the way she acted but he never did something bad to Cami that’s why she loved him more than he loved her she was his comfort and yes he loved her but not the way he loved Caroline even if she was scared of him she always stood up and boss him around that’s why he loved her so much because she was different than other women in his life. If she went to New Orleans with him he wouldn’t be interested in Cami and she will be the queen in New Orleans.
I hated when Stefan always choose Damon over her and when he was with Elena he would never choose Damon over Elena he didn’t deserve her but Klaus did.
I think Caroline was pretty mature knowing she had live nothing and she needed it and also for knowing she couldn’t be with him since she was scared of him. Cami and Klaus were pretty but, as Steroline, they were more friends than lovers, to me.

If Damon was Given a thousand years like Klaus, he would’ve gotten the chance to see how much his brother ACTUALLY sacrificed for him to be with Elena. That’s why The Salvatore Brothers Story is More Potent than the Mikaelson Brothers, Because The Salvatore brothers didn’t have an abundance of time to seek their redemption before they died. Or even get they life really all the way back on track before they died, and just the fact they were normal vampires that could die so easily but still displayed such a strong sibling bond like that of Klaus And Elijah Makes their story more potent although I will say this, emotion wise; both sets of brothers are equal on Getting People Emotional and in their feels🥲.

Stefan listened to Klaus and that's why Caroline was hurt. People complaining here are so one sided. Stefan and Caroline was apart for 3 years and still loved each other. Stefan went to Caroline to say sorry and it was her decision to get back together. Her decision matters. And there was countless times Stefan saved Caroline,later from similar hunters. Stefan made way too many sacrifices including actually dying once saving Caroline from Traveler hybrid or sacrificing his soul for her surrogate daughters. Stefan helped Caroline when even Bonnie didn't trust her,Damon wanted to kill her. Was there for her all throughout no matter what tantrums she thrown and forgave her for forcing him to turn his humanity off or torturing Sara. Yet somehow a part of fandom has such fetish for toxic relationships that they cannot see Stefan's continuous good contributions. Well Caroline married a hero. Loving Stefan was her choice even a decade after his death.
