Nice update Dave. I am amazed how you can clean the nexus so well. Not as easy with the eazypod as you can't lift up the cage. Definitely a filter I would have if I wasn't pump fed with a raised pond.
You so made me giggle with the hose and the washing...

Had one of these for a few years before my expensive drum.
Did a great job. One note. . Crap collects under the easy, I used a long handled hoselock watering spray . Angled the nozzle to clean the underneath.

@@edenkoipond I have a profi combi 30 off Darren at Absolute Koi. Also.. Be aware of loads of crap building up inside the legs.. It harbours nasties.. I'd clean these out every few weeks with a vacuum ... If you have any old sinking bio balls in the outer ring.. The vacuuming will remove them!

Nexus cleaning process looking good and the tip on positioning the Eazy makes complete sense to get the desired vortex action. Fish are also look good. Cheers.

All looking good buddy👌 Did you get a wallop from the Mrs is what I want to know?🤔😂 Although drums do, do a lot of the work load for you, they definitely do still require maintenance to a certain extent, such as making sure the float switch is good now and then🤐😁 seriously though, pond is looking great. Any plans for any more fish this season?

Excellent video, you could at some point fit a DracoDrum in centre best thing I fitted to my 320.
Have been tempted but put off by a number of people that have since ditched the drop in due to reliability issues?
@@edenkoipond that for anything iv stopped listening to everyone, honestly best thing I did and Tony who makes them so helpful all products get problems, my water crystal clear there's plenty of them out there, You have an excellent bio side on nexus why spend more money when you have most there his after service very good you could messenger me and I would be pleased to talk to you and could send you photos of my pond, just trying to help 😀

Brilliant review mate I have the nexus 220+ really helpful, how did The inner chamber detach itself, does it just lift out? If so I’ll be giving that a go. You make me laugh with your witty comments and the wet washing. 😂😂😂
Glad you enjoy the videos - main reason I do them to bring a little fun to people. Yep the eazy busts lifts out. Go steady and give a little twist as your lifting up. Watch your fingers as the metal is sharp in places 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Have you had any issues with blanket weed / string algae getting caught up in the eazy section ?
So far no - i did however sweep the pond floor yesterday which clogged he inner chamber up. I’ll be adding aqua source resolve today which I’ve always had good results with 👍🏼
@@edenkoipond yeah that's what I meant the inner chamber/eazy chamber I'm surprised you haven't had a lot of blanket weed this year we've had so much that it's been blocking the DracoDrum solum 25 waste shoot. Only a 2 minute job once a week but I can't imagine how bad a nexus would be if a drum is clogging up 😱 I would still highly recommend it but a sieve would probably be better for blanket weed and floating objects. If I did it again I'd have an ultrasieve III pump feeding the drum and place the drum above the moving bed so it flows in via gravity.
How much K+ have u used in nexus mate I have K+ in my nexus inner chamber and outer chamber
I have the usual amount in the eazy and the bio side I have (if I remember rightly) 100 litres of k1, 25 litres of Helx-13 and 50 litres K+. Plus around 25 litres of k1 micro (not on purpose 🙄) 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
