love these in depth videos on filtration, would also like a in depth guide on how the nexus works from head to toe as well, cant find any video on youtube on how it actually works and how it does it

I love my nexus 220 and I love cleaning it. So I would never have the auto kit.
I can understand people wanting them if they don’t like the cleaning part of the hobby.

I think you're missing the point of having an auto clean kit. I love my nexus 220 and I love cleaning it but I also love going on holiday and having the auto kit means I don't have to rely on other people to clean it for me or not as is sometimes the case. I have a cctv camera in my filter house from which I can control my auto top up system. The auto clean kit is an absolute godsend
@@gwatsongw no not missing the point. I go away 4 times a year. I just don’t feed my fish 3 days before I go on holiday. I go on holiday knowing that my fish are safe in the pond and don’t have to worry that while the auto cleaner is cleaning the nexus I get a power cut while the waste valve is open and empties the pond.
I am not saying they are not a good item I just don’t have the need for one

Can you help I had to buy myNexus 2nd hand which is a 300 with 320 kit. will the auto clean work on my Nexus or is there an adapter kit?

You can top up yourself but yes, it still sends water to waste
