Love the New Forest ! Interesting history with the Portuguese.
The forest stayed reasonably green for all of the heat and drought !
Thanks so much for this enjoyable walk !
    Best regards,

Hi Andrea, its hard to believe we filmed all four walks in the same week even we were surprised how green it was on this last walk. Just happened to be in the right place where the tree cover protected the grass from the hot sun. We didn't even know that the Portuguese Soldiers had been in the New Forest until we came across it so this was a great walk to finish with. We are back out into the hills of the Peak District in our next walk. All the best John and Janice

No horses except at the very end. It looked pretty dry there.
    Great walk. Good views.

Hi Sunrise seven thank you. We were lucky with this last walk in the forest with plenty of different things to film besides ponies. All the best The Taxi Driver

    Dear Taxi Driver,
I watch your hiking videos to be back in England. in September, i went on a Ramblers holiday in Sidmouth. We had a nice group of people, weather was glorious, nice leader called Adam. After that, end of September, went on another Ramblers in Derbyshire. Nice holiday, good group again, weather not as good, leader was Alun. i miss the Ramblers and was always in a local chapter when i lived there. Will be back next year.

Hi Margaret, it's great to hear you enjoying England. Even though we walk with just the two of us we think a rambling group is great for single people, couples, holiday makers and people who don't know the area. Leaders like Adam and Alan are always friendly and eager to answer any local history questions and help in anyway they can to make your walk memorable, we think they do a fantastic job getting people out into the countryside in all weathers and terrains whether it be flat or mountainous. I also watch Jim Hawkins channel with his coastal walks.
I love it. Perhaps it would interest you.

Hi Colm one, it was great to film different things rather than all ponies or donkeys and we will take a look at Jim Hawkins coastal walks. All the best The Taxi Driver

Hi Omar Adel, thank you for your comment. We are pleased you like our videos. We are lucky that England has a varied amount of different landscapes from the seaside to the mountains. We mostly film in the summertime when the weather is a lot better, so will be starting to film more videos very soon. We still have two videos to finish editing from last year and hope to have these uploaded soon. All the best from England, The Taxi Driver.
