    Is it hard to put it on the right side or left side?

    I didn't notice you adjust the cruise set point with the thumb wheel in the driving demo. How does the device affect the operation of the thumb wheel for voice commands (push to talk), follow distance (wheel toggle), and cruise set point (wheel turn)?

    Does this work on a 2023 Model Y Long Range? It has a camera now in a cabin that pays attention to your eyes. Does this device disable that too? I just use an ankle weight on my old 2016 Model S and had no issues removing the nag that way but now there is a Cabin camera

    Tesla now has camera based attentiveness detecting system. Can this also beat it ?

    • @TheAutomotiveFanatic
      @TheAutomotiveFanatic  Před 3 měsíci

      Correct me if I am wrong, but with FSD, you still need to keep your hands on the wheel, correct? If so, this device might still work, but I would need to test it on a Tesla which has it. Regarding the camera system, I haven't done enough research to know if you can simply block out the interior camera.

    • @unclejam1

      @@TheAutomotiveFanatic For the first part. Yes sir you are correct. You still need to keep your hands on the wheel occasionally.
      For the second part, I actually tested it myself to cover the cabin camera. And then the screen just told to uncover the camera otherwise the FSD will be deactivated.

    I bought this item yet but when you press the right scroll wheel twice to turn on the item, it doesn’t work because once you click the right scroll wheel once it turns on voice command instead. The Tesla voice command turns on when you press it once. How do I bypass this in order to turn on this item? If you press it once it turns on voice command if you press it twice it’s waiting for you to say something. Therefore the feature that turns on doesn’t occur.

      Thanks for sharing your concern. Yes, you're correct, single and double presses activate different voice functions. For the single press, there is no way to bypass the Tesla voice command. For the double press, I have noticed that you need to press it faster than normal, which in turn, does not always activate the Tesla command. Unfortunately, it's just something you have to deal with in order to have this Anti-Nag work. It's a give and take.
