    Well, after hours of re-rendering and troubleshooting, I managed to fix this video and re-upload it. Many thanks to the viewer who brought it to my attention that there was a problem with the audio in the original upload. This time, it's all well :)

    That was one of the best reviews I’ve seen on the Clara 2E. A lot of nice details brought out. Thank you.

    I've had my Clara 2E since the release date and it is now my preferred eReader and my Libra 2 is sitting by my bed, languishing. The reason is, despite, or because of, the 2E's smaller screen it is nicer to hold, lighter and more comfortable. I think while larger screens seem like a good idea, for a simple reading device the 6" size hits the sweet spot. Bigger screens may be better for Manga or PDF media, not something I dabble with.
    Some people like the "premium" feel of the Kindle Oasis, but I dislike the aluminium case, the Paperwhile 10 feels OK, the Paperwhite 11 SE is better in some ways but I like holding the Clara 2E more. My Oasis and Paperwhite SE tend to be left for use with the Audible AudioBooks (I hate wasting phone battery for that). I have over 400 Audible books. I have tried a couple of Kobo AudioBooks on the Libra 2 and the Clara 2E worked fine for me, but I hear you comment about leaving audio mode - maybe they will fix that with an update.
    So for now, my Clara 2E is my preferred eReader, my Kindles for my existing AudioBooks. I can now play off the Kindle and Kobo stores for best prices for the books I want, factoring in my preferred device when there's a price match.

      Your reasons for liking the Kobo Clara 2E are the reasons I love the Nook GlowLight 4 - small/compact and light, which makes it easy to hold. The page-turn buttons and large bezel convinced me to get it. Ironically, I only read manga on it! Yes, the screen may be too small for manga, but it's a minor drawback, as it is still readable for me (besides, I can always switch to my GlowLight Plus, if I need to see the images on a larger screen).

      I am planning to get the clara 2e exactly for these reasons. I have the libra 2 and it just triggers my carpal tunnel syndrome. I have the ppw 5 as well but something about the kobo screen is just a better reading experience. Now that they've released a smaller, lighter updated ereader I'm definitely picking it up.

    Thanks a lot for your nice content. I’m on the search for a new reader. Kindle is nice but i don’t like the closed Ecosystem now i search for good alternative.

    Hey, so you and Kit Bett-Masters are the best in reviewing those e-ink tablets. I owned an rM2 for years now, and I love it. I also see an EXPLOSING in e-ink tablets recently. A lot of them are reviewed and talked about but I didn't see much reviews on the Fujitsu Quaderno except from Good E-reader. Would you care to make a deep guide on them?

    • @MyDeepGuide
      @MyDeepGuide  Před rokem +1

      Thank you very much :) As for the device, probably not, because I can't seem to get into contact with Fujitsu or the Quadreno department, and it is far too expensive to purchase it and do a review that way, first of all I don't buy anything from GoodEReader, and that is unlikely to change, and Quadreno can only be bought through them, and the the interest in the device is so small that Quadreno related videos would take probably around 50+years to recoup the price of the device, and I wouldn't use it myself. So, all of those combined, unfortunately mean that it's a low chance that I'll feature that device on My Deep Guide, unless Fujitsu or Quadreno branch send a review loan unit for testing.

    I've had a Kobo reader for a while now. It's better than the Kindle IMHO. Of course, I also own a Boox Note Air 2.

    Since the device doesn't have a flush screen, will dusk be stuck in the screen marginal gap?

    Great review. But I have one specific question. Can you read Adobe DRM protected eBooks on this device? If yes, how does it work? Thanks.

      @andysmith1996 Před rokem +1

      Yes. You need Adobe Digital Editions on your computer.

    How does this compare to their older models, like the Kobo Glo HD, in terms of clarity, speed, and backlight? I'm quite happy with the oler device, but would be happy to upgrade if there was a meaningful improvement.

      @MyDeepGuide  Před rokem +1

      I don't really know, as I haven't used or owned those models. I had the Libra H2O and the screen and the light is a bit better and crisper. As for the speed, I only used my Libra H2O with ebooks, not documents, and there both devices are fast, so I didn't notice any huge difference.

      You can but you have to use Adobe Digital Editions if the book has DRM. I’ve had issues with the covers showing up in the past, but I could read the book.
