EDIT: Update on the Bluetooth issue. Turns out I just was not holding the keys long enough. Have to hold for longer until the Bluetooth key is flashing. Thank you to ugly poodle for the comment showing me how to do it (see pinned comment).

Hey I had trouble getting the Bluetooth to work at first. If you press and Hold Fn + Q/W/E/... as shown in the user manual, all the keyboard keys will flash 3 times, but that's not enough. You should keep holding them until only the Q/W/E... key flashes. That's when the keyboard will become discoverable (BlitzWolf KB1). That worked for me! and it was just excellent.

@@bepo2235 I just bought one with brown switches. Get what you feel better with. There are just brown, blue and red options. All good brand switches. I got brown because my previous keyboard was red and i'm tired from the linears, it's not that sactisfatory to type on. So I want to try Tacticle Brown ones, because I also am a streamer and dont want that much noise that blues have

Just bought this keyboard! Its comong in 20-40 days tho.... probbally because i love in norway and everything takes a looong time to ship here
This keyboard is awsome. I picked mine up for 41 EUR and the Gateron reds are so smooth. Small niggles I have is the stupid green charging light under the space bar and I wish you were able to configure 2nd layer keys such as volume up and down. The /? key does not bother me as I am switching from a UK ISO layout anyway so that is a huge change in itself. Any ideas where to get some nice caps that take care of the smaller Alt, Fn and Shift buttons? Ideally something like HyperX pudding caps.
Take a look at HK Gamings pudding keycaps. I have a set that I have not opened yet but from what I've seen they have some extra keycaps in there for compatibility. Otherwise if you're ok with non-pudding keycaps, HK Gaming makes some nice PBT cherry profile caps at a decent price that have a wide range of compatibility for the price.
Tai Hao is also another good one, but you might need to use the included blanks for those FN and Alt keys. That's what I have on mine right now.
@@Portly Thanks for the reply. Looking at the HK Gaming pudding caps on Amazon, the extra caps unfortunetely have a Shift key the size of a regular bottom row keys. The other extra keys are the ISO Enter and 2 x \| keys.
Question, does the processing really takes that long? I've ordered mine a week ago. But went out to check on their website and see that it's still processing.
yeah that's pretty common from a lot of these sites. Banggood, Aliexpress, etc.

I was thinking about buying this but I saw a lot of reviews and comments which where saying it has some kind of typing and led issues, so I think I'm going with the rk 61
I have that one if it starts bugging out hold fn and spacebar

I use it occasionally but not often since I have other keyboards to review, BUT I will say I do recommend it if you can get passed the placement of the question mark. Great stabilizers, dedicated arrow keys, it's very nice and still works great. I've never used the RK61 but I hear it's good.
Where do you place this in comparison to the draconic k530 (saw that video too)
I would say they’re both comparable, though I would give asking edge to the Blitzwolf because I did like typing on this keyboard more, as well as the cleaner look and arrow keys.
Is there a battery life when using bluetooth?

That just means it's charging. It should turn off when it's charged. I think you can also try Fn + Tab if you haven't already switched out of bluetooth mode

If you can get the Bluetooth to work (I had trouble but most other reviewers got it to work easily) then yes!

Gk 61 much better switches for gaming
Both have gateron switches but the gk61 is hotswappable

@@oopsiepoopsie3071 suppose so yeah. the acuation time is a bit better with optical switches but depends on your use. gk61 seems a better option in most cases

The Anne Pro 2 is still my favorite and it's what I am using to type this comment, but if you've got a tight budget, the Blitzwolf is seriously impressive for $50. GK61 and SK61 are also solid options (though the SK61 has much better sounding and feeling keycaps than the GK61, they're almost identical otherwise from what I can tell so far)

Id say most Keycaps probably fit this keyboard so just look up the colour of keycaps that would match you setup or something and pick what ones youd like

This is something that comes down to personal preference. Brown has a slight tactile bump so you can feel the key press a bit more. Red is linear and smooth, no bump or feedback. Some like myself prefer smooth, others prefer tactile. If you’re new to these switches and don’t know, your best bet is to do what we all do when starting out: try one that sounds more appealing and see how you feel about it.

Tai hao will be one of your best/more affordable bets. Other sets that have the correct sized keys are typically much more expensive than tai-hao
guys i have seen many videos on yt saying i shouldnt buy from banggod, so should i buy the keyboard and risk not getting it?
In my opinion it's completely up to you. I have received everything banggood has shipped me and at this point it's been a lot of stuff. Yes, most of it was free, provided for review, but even the free stuff goes through the same order system and shipping process as my paid orders that I've bought from there with my own money.

Totally understandable. If anything goes wrong just reach out to their customer service and be patient. They're a legit business that doesn't intend to scam anyone, I think people just expect an Amazon-like experience

On most of the keys yes, but might have some issues with the right shift, Alt, and Fn

@@Portly I've seen you made a recent video with an SK61 keyboard. Between that keyboard, and this BW KB1, what do you think is the better? I was afraid of the SK61 because I just found it from suspect sellers on aliexpress and I didnt want to risk buying my new keyboard. But today I found out that the GK61 is on banggood too with a good price.. Is sk61 the same as gk61?
@@catoflado4977 yeah the SK61 is basically the exactly same keyboard with different keycaps, which is enough to make it better, in my opinion, than the GK61. I'd say I prefer the KB1 tho

Yes it does but I don’t think Bluetooth will, just normal wired connection via usb.
